The hotel is old and looking tired. Carpets are stained, long corridors with low ceilings, reception looks dated and outside is in a state of disrepair. The hotel is in need of a refurb. On the positive side. There are good views from the rooftop bar and the pool was nice. On balance, we feel that the hotel was not good value for money.

We really enjoyed our recent stay. The highlights were: absolutely wonderful staff, some of the best food as well as variety for breakfast a d dinner in the club lounge, a great pool and plenty of shaded sun lounges, fantastic live music Wed. to Sat. And great location.

The room was large and clean with good aircon, and had bedside [UK] sockets. The roof top bar had a great view of the sea and sunset. It wasn't really possible to eat in the hotel as it was hosting Ramadan meals every night and the poolside restaurant closed at 6pm. The swimming pool area was ok, but there was a constant unpleasant smell from the fish market opposite. Had I have known this, I wouldn't have booked the hotel. The hotel is showing its age, but otherwise ok.

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The overall cleanliness left much to be desired—especially in the common areas, the sauna, and around the pool, which were not well maintained. The breakfast was another letdown: the quality was poor, and there were very few options to choose from. Due to these issues, we decided to cancel the remainder of our stay and requested a refund. The only positive aspect of our experience was the staff, who were very friendly and tried their best to be helpful despite the circumstances. I would not recommend this hotel until significant improvements are made.

The hotel located opposite to a big night market and within walking distance to shopping centers and eateries. The room is spacious and bed comfortable. The swimming pool is good size plus many other facilities such as spa, sauna and steam room inside female changing room for you to explore. Highly recommended.

To be completely honest, I struggled for a long time thinking about reviewing this. However I finally thought it’s best to write one up since it is supposedly 5 star and I want their leadership to note. I’m just being honest and upfront but most importantly don’t want this to reflect on the people working there. Saying so, the people working there are absolutely fab. Made my partner and me feel absolutely at home. They also stretched and strived to accomodate us to the best of their ability given the following challenges. We stayed here for 3 nights. We had 3 room changes in 4 days. 6th floor to 10 then 12. The hotel is super old and dilapidated. I did hear locals mention it was renovated recently but sadly I don’t see any evidence of it. First room was mouldy, second room has a water leak from the light fitting , directly above the toilet. Things need to be fixed around here. Please do as I love to come back to stay. But all in all , the staff came to the rescue everytime. Despite my frustrations in having to pack and repack and move rooms almost every night , I just want to say thank you to Ricky and the staff of Le Meridien KK.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Le meridian Hotel The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that my room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean. The comfortable bed and luxurious linens ensured a restful night's sleep, and the blackout curtains were a nice touch for those who prefer a dark room. I also appreciated the complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, which made it easy for me. But one feedback that the room window screen having a lot of dust( I’m staying the ocean view room ) The bath room heater tap having unstable flow of hot water The location of the hotel was ideal, with easy access to popular attractions and transportation options. Whether I wanted to explore the city or simply relax in the hotel, everything was conveniently within reach. Overall, I’m happy stay at the Le meridian Hotel.

직원들 친절하고, 객실은 크고 침대 편안하고, 인터넷도 잘 되고 깨끗했는데ᆢ테이블 위에 기념일 추카 케익이 놓여 있었는데 개미들이 많아서 먹을 수 없었고, 여기저기 개미들이 많아서 음식들을 놓고 먹을 수 없었어요. 호텔 앞에 필리피노마켓이 바로 앞이라 생선비린내가 로비부터 진동을 했고, 욕실 변기가 계속 물이 세고, 욕조에 물이 세서 채워지지 않았어요. 직원이 수리 하고 갔는데ᆢ개선이 안되었어요~그거 말고는 괜찮았어요~^^

First of all let me say that we really enjoyed our stay. The room was just fine, the view was amazing, the pool was good and the restaurant (we only had the breakfast buffet) was very good. The location couldn't have been much better due to it's proximity to the markets. The hotel staff were all excellent and we were very happy with the price. The only negative things I have to say are some minor condition complaints. Our room needed to have the carpet cleaned and the sofa needed it's upholstery cleaned. There was some minor touch up needed in the bathroom with grout and calking that is common in many hotels. These are simple fixes that have to be done to earn a 5 star review. Please understand I am not saying it was dirty but an hour spent in the room by maintenance staff on those simple things would go a long way. Over all we very much recommend this hotel.

Old Hotel with much to improve. For example, carpets everywhere are stained and frankly disgusting and displeasing, especially in the rooms themselves. The wallpaper held a hoard of dust and the headboards of the beds where disgustingly stained too. The pillows smelt so strongly of hair grease and were so gross.

위치도 만족이고 바다 바로앞이여서 다 좋았어요 직원분들도 너무 친절하고 신경 많이 써주셨어요 침대고 너무 편하고 혼자 쓰기에 넓은 객실에 모두 만족이었는데 한가지 욕실은 리모델링을 좀 하셔야 될거같다는 느낌(?) 샤워기 줄이 다 찢어져서 물이 샤워기 헤드로 안 나오고 옆으로 다 새는 거예요 첫날 미리 알았다면 객실을 바꿨을건데 사용하러 들어가서 알아서 그냥 썼어요 옆에 욕조 샤워기도 뭐가 시원찮구요 실리콘 부분들이 보면 리모델링을 좀 해야될거 같은 느낌이었구 아 그리고 한가지 더 아주 미세하게 작은 벌레들이 많았어요 티백 놔둔 서랍이랑 욕실 세면대 근처랑 다 잡아도 또 나오던데 그냥 그 근처는 안가고 2박 했네요 옮기기 귀찮아서 그것빼고는 조식도 그렇고 가격대비 만족이었어요

Fancy property but what travelers value most is a nice bed & hot shower & they only delivered the first. The room was opulent & visually stunning but the shower water never got hot, drainage was poor & the seals leaked so water seeped out all over the floor which created a dangerous mess requiring all the towels & robe to mop up to avoid slipping. They should focus on the basics before all the decorative stuff that's not that important when all most want is to refresh after long journeys & sleep.

Next level. This is truly a five star hotel in every way from the facilities to the staff. The location is directly across from the harbour and you can see the fishing boats coming and going. An easy walk to the Sunday market and the night market. There are shopping centres close by for all your needs. Markets are across the road. We had a sea view room which was spacious and lovely. Towels were white and fluffy. Bed linen luxurious and the beds and pillows were super comfortable. The service we received from the staff was next level. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff went above and beyond. We felt very welcomed and loved our 3 night stay. Highly recommended.

The reception and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Specially Ms Anna Wong from the restaurant. She is always smiling and goes around to ask the guests they are ok. The room we stayed is very clean and spacious and we enjoyed our stay very much . The only setback the hotel is that guests can smell the foul air from the nearby Filipino market Once you stand outside the lobby. Because of the hotel is across the market, the surrounding area gets pretty busy . May not be pleasant if you are on holiday.

Great central location for walking out to the night markets, bars, restaurants, cafes, shops. Short walk or a quick Grab (taxi) to the ferry terminal where you catch the boats to go island hopping. Club room, king bed, sea view was a great size with good water pressure in the shower, good quality complimentary toiletries and reliable WiFi. There were lovely sunset views from the club lounge which served complimentary alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and food from 5:30 - 7:30pm each day. I would definitely say that the reasonable extra cost of a club room is worth it. The staff at the club lounge, reception and main breakfast restaurant were all so friendly and helpful. The pool had sufficient loungers and was nice and relaxing. In summary, I would certainly recommend a stay at Le Meridien if you’re looking to be central in KK.

Convenient location, some staff are courteous but not all. At breakfast I insisted on getting coffee myself at the coffee machine as I found a strand of hair in my coffee the day before. Many flies at the restaurant as the fish market and sea is right across the hotel. The hotel must find a way to address this as it's unhygienic.
