This property is in a close proximity to the train and is absolutely beautiful. The staff is great and facilities are amazing. We had the spa to ourselves for an hour upon our arrival to relax and kick the stay off right. We will definitely be back.

The property view and the amenities were spectacular. The rooms were spacious and luxurious. The view from room O was delightful at all times of the day. It did not matter that the property was a little far away from Lugano, the shuttle took us into the city so that we could dine and shop. Would love to stay there again.

A beautiful property with attentive staff. Gorgio the concierge was especially helpful. We upgraded to a panorama suite and it was very large and comfortable with incredible view. The breakfast buffet had nice variety, The bar and the restaurant are good, but expensive. The outdoor terrace is lovely -- the indoor bar could use a "refresh" in design although in the nice summer weather we preferred to be outside with the incredible view. The one thing to note about the property is that to get to/from downtown Lugano can be expensive. During the day if you are fit you can walk down and back (a bit of a climb) and the hotel does have a shuttle service at certain times. But, in the evening taxi was required.

We were really looking forward to our stay at the hotel however, we left rather disappointed and dissatisfied. The room, though large was very outdated and had an unusual layout. One small example, the loo was in its own large room yet still was situated so close to the wall you could hardly sit down. The concierge weren’t great, my husband and I both spoke with them asking for different meals on three separate evenings. Each time, we were recommended to visit the same restaurant despite asking for different cuisines. We did go to the recommended restaurant on the first evenings as we knew no better and saw three other guests from the hotel. I know how concierge works but they must have been getting some serious kickbacks from this one particular restaurant. There were many other little niggles such as children screaming and jumping around the very small pool and pool area and no one stopping them. Very little service at the pool also. No space for us to have an aperativo before supper, no space for supper. Apparently you had to book weeks in advance but no one told us and quite frankly, at a 5-star hotel, shouldn’t guests be a priority!? Many tables that had a view over the lake (the whole point of the hotel) were ‘reserved’ for one family of guests who turned up so late most people had eaten and left by the time they arrived. It all felt a little disappointing that I couldn’t enjoy the facilities and consequently spent most of my time out of the hotel.

This Hotel has an excellent location with a majestic view. Once you enter the room the view is spectacular. The room is big and very clean. The staff are very attentive to details. The restaurants service and food are amazing! This hotel was the highlight of our vacation. Service was impeccable, always attentive to the guests. The piano bar was a highlight of the stay.

The staff is magnificent. The room and view is spectacular. The food was excellent. There were many things to do locally and Milan was very close as well. We stayed here for our anniversary and it was excellent. Would recommend anyone.

Excellent stay. Gorgeous property, service is world class. Made our entire stay - highly recommend. I looked at several other luxury hotels in Lugano and so glad I chose this one. The view is truly unbelievable. We stayed in the panoramic room and it was amazing, we didn’t even want to leave the room. The fine dining restaurant was tremendous, best meal we had during our stay. 5 stars

The restaurant staff for dinner didn’t seem to be knowledgeable. The manager ( in the suit) did not make us feel comfortable. He hovered the entire dinner and seemed pretentious! I ordered a latte and received a glass of milk. Of the five day journey across Switzerland, the only food we rated as bad was the salad we ordered at dinner. Everything else at the hotel, I would give an excellent rating!

We were really looking forward to our stay at the hotel however, we left rather disappointed and dissatisfied. The room, though large was very outdated and had an unusual layout. One small example, the loo was in its own large room yet still was situated so close to the wall you could hardly sit down. The concierge weren’t great, my husband and I both spoke with them asking for different meals on three separate evenings. Each time, we were recommended to visit the same restaurant despite asking for different cuisines. We did go to the recommended restaurant on the first evenings as we knew no better and saw three other guests from the hotel. I know how concierge works but they must have been getting some serious kickbacks from this one particular restaurant. There were many other little niggles such as children screaming and jumping around the very small pool and pool area and no one stopping them. Very little service at the pool also. No space for us to have an aperativo before supper, no space for supper. Apparently you had to book weeks in advance but no one told us and quite frankly, at a 5-star hotel, shouldn’t guests be a priority!? Many tables that had a view over the lake (the whole point of the hotel) were ‘reserved’ for one family of guests who turned up so late most people had eaten and left by the time they arrived. It all felt a little disappointing that I couldn’t enjoy the facilities and consequently spent most of my time out of the hotel.

The property view and the amenities were spectacular. The rooms were spacious and luxurious. The view from room O was delightful at all times of the day. It did not matter that the property was a little far away from Lugano, the shuttle took us into the city so that we could dine and shop. Would love to stay there again.

The restaurant staff for dinner didn’t seem to be knowledgeable. The manager ( in the suit) did not make us feel comfortable. He hovered the entire dinner and seemed pretentious! I ordered a latte and received a glass of milk. Of the five day journey across Switzerland, the only food we rated as bad was the salad we ordered at dinner. Everything else at the hotel, I would give an excellent rating!

This Hotel has an excellent location with a majestic view. Once you enter the room the view is spectacular. The room is big and very clean. The staff are very attentive to details. The restaurants service and food are amazing! This hotel was the highlight of our vacation. Service was impeccable, always attentive to the guests. The piano bar was a highlight of the stay.
