Clean, comfortable rom. Loved having the balcony. Excellent location. Delicious buffet breakfast included a tasty, fresh and varied selection of food. The gym could use a mat, and some new free weights.

The hotel room was not large but was sufficient. The shower in our room was quite small. Toiletries included an all in one for hand/body/hair - so if you are particular about shampoo, they only offer an all in one. Our room had a little balcony with a couple chairs and and a table and this was nice to be able to sit outside at the end of the day (even in October it was still nice enough to do this) Small lobby area with stairs between lobby and the elevator so this could be a concern with those with accessibility issues. There is parking but very confusing and the gentleman at the front desk was not very helpful in explaining what we needed to do. (the gas station attendant was fabulous and was the one that actually helped us figure it out). There is a convenience store right at the hotel (between hotel and the parking garage) which was great. Overall not a bad stay.

El hotel divino, súper amable la gente. Las escaleras de la entrada un poco incómodas con maletas el elevador no funcionaba en ese espacio, pero si para el resto del Hotel. El personal súper amable y bien ubicado. Lo recomiendo mucho.

Nice clean room close to the center, nice view from window to the street, a little noise from trams, but 98% very quiet. The front desk people very nice to customers. Definitely could use more weights and upgraded equipment in the Gym. That would make this an ideal hotel for customers who need at least a basic gym. There is an opportunity for this hotel to draw more clients who need a gym with weights. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It’s good value .

Room was clean and exactly as advertised. Air conditioning worked well. The parking is next door but it only lets a car in when one comes out. Luckily we did not have to wait long, checking in at 2pm on a Wednesday. We were unable to retrieve our car until 7am Thursday when the gas station opened (you need gas station to validate your ticket in order to leave). The front desk was courteous and gave us free breakfast to offset this inconvenience as we were trying to leave at 6am. We booked a triple room, the beds and linens were comfortable. Bathroom was small but that's how it is in most of Europe. Excellent value for the price.

Great location and convenient parking garage right next to the hotel. We opted to not get breakfast at the hotel and easily found several cafes in the area instead. We were able to walk to the Residenz, Marienplatz and other locations. Access to public transportation is also very easy.

This hotel was awful. there is a tram that runs right next to the hotel that resonates throughout the hotel every 10 minutes. the elevator also had a high pitch sound that came right into our room everytime someone used it. hotel was not accommodating on switching rooms. said all rooms are subject to the noise.

The carpets in the hall were stained. The room had no coffee maker, no fridge. The restaurant had no a la carte breakfast - only the buffet which was so so. Only one type of liquid soap for everything - no shampoo or conditioner. Granted, it wasn't that bad and I liked the location.

For the price, this hotel was average. The beds are very and not overly comfortable. There is no mini bar in the room. The bathrooms are old and could use a refresh. The staff were very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and well maintained.

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU NEED WIFI, OR CALUE YOUR CREDIT CARD DATA. Munich is a lovely city, and the hotel is centrally located. However, despite telling me they had spent €45,000 on new cabling for wifi, it drops out constantly - I took a screenshot each time it dropped in 90 minutes - 12 times. This requires you to turn off wifi, turn on again and reconnect. Totally useless for work, a call, or even just browsing. I raised this to their attention after the first evening - they said they would check. When I returned from sightseeing that day, I was told they had restarted everything and it would be fine. They offered me free breakfast the next day (sadly I had to leave at 630am so no use to me), so I requested a refund instead. They said they would look into it. The second evening, exactly the same thing. I complained at 630am when I was checking out and asked for a partial refund - I was told ‘nothing I can do, I just work here’ - the director will need to deal with it when he arrives at 9am. He will get straight in touch with you. I’m still waiting 10 hours later. Also - be aware - this hotel has personal details of all their customers just openly on the front desk, including credit card numbers, expiry dates, 3-digit security codes, just written on sheets open to anyone. A total breach of security and GDPR. Do not stay here.

Great location in Munich's inner city - walking distance to major attractions and surrounded by excellent restaurants and bars. Just 2 minutes from S-Bahn station with direct line to airport and an easy tram ride to English Garden and main train station. Room had a nice balcony and effective air conditioning. While small and outdated with a basic bathroom, the room was very quiet. Beds were a bit soft. Friendly service and the prime location more than compensated for the dated accommodations. Will book again for future Munich stays.

Hotel Isartor is an older hotel with a not particularly welcoming staff. The bathroom was tiny with a shower squeezed into a corner. The breakfast was adequate. Location was ok once we figured out the way to Marienplatz. I’m sorry to say, the woman working in the breakfast room could use a smile.. All in all it was ok but I would not stay there again.

I had to change the res w/in 6 hours and they said it was nonrefundable until Hotels.com intervened. Service was pretty awful. Regular guests were offered complimentary beer/wine on check-in. Not Hotels.com though! Staff was surly and abrupt in every interaction. Breakfast that everyone raved about in reviews was just mediocre. First morning, ran out of water while in bathroom; not just ran out but water just stopped. Rooms (we had a king suite) were very small and left no room for luggage anywhere. One complimentary water in room at check-in but had to pay like 5 euros for more. I lived in München for nearly 10 years and have visited often; won’t stay here again. Don’t recommend to any tourist! A few smiles and some courtesy from the staff could have easily earned this hotel a better rating but they didn’t seem to care.

Nice place and convenient to many restaurants and shopping. The tall woman at check in was amazing with how helpful she was. I had to leave early here than expected the next morning because of the marathon happening and the roads around the hotel would be blocked off. The parking didn’t open till eight so she went over there with me and used her pass keys to get me out of that ramp before it opened and the roads were blocked. Never got her name but she was an Angel!

Great service staff, very friendly and helpful. Great location, close to the Xmas market and numerous dining spots. Hallway carpets look rough but the rest of the interiors were like new. Only negative was some loud music outside until 2 am on a Saturday night. Strongly recommend this hotel.

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU NEED WIFI, OR CALUE YOUR CREDIT CARD DATA. Munich is a lovely city, and the hotel is centrally located. However, despite telling me they had spent €45,000 on new cabling for wifi, it drops out constantly - I took a screenshot each time it dropped in 90 minutes - 12 times. This requires you to turn off wifi, turn on again and reconnect. Totally useless for work, a call, or even just browsing. I raised this to their attention after the first evening - they said they would check. When I returned from sightseeing that day, I was told they had restarted everything and it would be fine. They offered me free breakfast the next day (sadly I had to leave at 630am so no use to me), so I requested a refund instead. They said they would look into it. The second evening, exactly the same thing. I complained at 630am when I was checking out and asked for a partial refund - I was told ‘nothing I can do, I just work here’ - the director will need to deal with it when he arrives at 9am. He will get straight in touch with you. I’m still waiting 10 hours later. Also - be aware - this hotel has personal details of all their customers just openly on the front desk, including credit card numbers, expiry dates, 3-digit security codes, just written on sheets open to anyone. A total breach of security and GDPR. Do not stay here.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Great location. With only a 10 minute walk to the main square. Tram and train station a few minutes walk from the hotel. The staff were amazing. Extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Even the owners son took the time to check we were okay and have a chat. Will definitely be coming back.

Great location and convenient parking garage right next to the hotel. We opted to not get breakfast at the hotel and easily found several cafes in the area instead. We were able to walk to the Residenz, Marienplatz and other locations. Access to public transportation is also very easy.

A very nice room for the price in a central, convenient location. Management and staff were exceptional! Very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was really good. It exceeded my expectations by far. I will definitely stay at this hotel again the next time I visit Munich.

The carpets in the hall were stained. The room had no coffee maker, no fridge. The restaurant had no a la carte breakfast - only the buffet which was so so. Only one type of liquid soap for everything - no shampoo or conditioner. Granted, it wasn't that bad and I liked the location.

Did not like the small shower where it was hard to even turn around. Breakfast was €15 for €4 worth of food. Room might be tight for some but it totally fine for the basics.

We enjoyed our stay and the price was good! The beds were comfortable with classic down comforters and pillows I’ve come to expect at hotels in Germany 😁; the staff was polite and helpful and the breakfast buffet (€15pp) was quite nice. Drawbacks were no coffee or refrigerators in the room (we had a Standard Double w/2 twin beds); the hotel is directly above the Isartor underground station so you can hear and feel the rumbling of trains 24/7 (not a major nuisances but noticeable); and the carpet in the hallways and rooms is in dire need of replacement. In an otherwise sharp and modern looking front desk area and breakfast room, once you are in the hallways the dingy carpet gave it a different feel. Overall a good place and a solid 4-star rating.
