Woul be all ok, but few points to mention: Wifi connection in rooms is terrible, several times a day you need to re-enter password and etc Inside heated pool is more like a lottery - water temperature varies from below 28\'C - to 31\'C and up. That is a big difference and this has not improved since we were on the same hotel last February Rooms are "cleaned" daily, however, if you look in corners, under the bed and even inside the closed - it seems those places are never cleaned. Pay extreme attention to what room type you book: side-sea-view room is sold as sea view and even superior sea view is actually - side sea view, while street/mountains view room can be no view room at all - our 394 room was exactly the case. Rude and arrogant reception manager (a man I don\'t remember his name) Very overcrowded breakfast restaurant, this is extremely noticeable after hotel build an additional flour on top

Excellent hotel for adults, staff are wonderful happy and helpful, food is excellent, facilities and space around the pools and gardens is perfect, not over crowded beds are 10-15 feet apart from others. Room spacious and fabulous

Very good visit. Nice hotel, friendly staff, great breakfast buffé, entertainment every night and clean. If we would comment something negative it will be that the pool was too warm and the staff in the reception was not very friendly, we barely got a smile during our week.

From the time we arrived at the Hotel, staff were so friendly. Plus we got an upgrade to a one bed suite which had amazing views.The hotel was spotless and a credit to all involed. The room was immaculate and cleaned every day by very plesant staff , who are a credit to the hotel.The food have to say was excellent and staff. The bars were also excellent and staff . We had a Cabana overlooking the sea which was fantastic and a phone if you wanted bar service. Overall it was our first time in Cyprus and picking the The Athena Royal Beach just made it special. Its about 30 min walk into paphos harbour where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Just down from the hotel you can get a bus ito the harbour for 1.50 euro. We had dinner in the hotel every night as the food was excellent. Just want to mention the staff again who were 10/10. Thank you for making our two week holiday special. We will be back as to be honest it was the most relaxing holiday.

The hotel was excellent , great value for money. The position was just right . The staff were amazing in all areas.so helpful & always smiling . VIP was definitely worth it . Sea view room was lovely. Perfect for adults only . Only one negative. The pool was freezing , too cold to go into . Such a shame as everything else was great . I’m sure we will return . Thank you all for working so hard to make sure it was a happy experience.

Well laid out hotel. No rush or queuing. Ample spaces out sun beds. Lovely breakfast. Ample parking in hotel car park. Waiter service at sun beds is a real bonus. Hotel and rooms are functioning well but could do with a facelift.

I've been many times in this hotel and have seen ups and downs this hotel was going through. It seems now they've managed to restore their service and immage to it's best and - the water temperature of the inside heated pool has finally got warm :) Keep it up !

A comfortable stay. Housekeeping were excellent ! In room hairdryer was of low quality and needs updating to reflect 4 star hotel rating. Planting around the grounds reminded me of my grandparents hot’ colours and shrubs scheme from the 1960’s! Could benefit from a more contemporary design.

Eigentlich ein gutes Hotel, direkte Strandlage (Stein/Fels) mit Zugang über Steg. Im Frühling vornehmlich Langzeittouristen (Rentner) aus England, angenehme Atmosphäre. Frühstück leider sehr laut, Musik übertrieben laut und dadurch sehr laute Geräuschkulisse. Personal eher aufdringlich freundlich und teilweise sehr bestimmend. Zimmertüren sehr dünn, Dichtungen zum Flur fehlen und die Türschlösser sind quasi nur Attrappe und sehr leicht aufzubrechen. Im Sommer würde ich keine Wertgegenstände im Zimmer lassen! Allgemein aber ein guter Zustand, nur sehr wenige Schmuddelecken.

This was hotel was amazing Rooms well equipped, very clean and quiet Breakfast choice was varied with both European/uk and Cypriot restaurants Hotel staff were brilliant and really took pride in everything they did Good location on the beach and by the bus stop

Our tenth stay in Cyprus, 8 of them at the Athena Royal. The other two at the five star CB Hotels Asimina Suites. Always excellent staff, friendly and helpful at all times. The food is exquisite 100% of the time. Clean as a whistle too.

Pretty sure all bad reviews are taken down. Room had no AC w/ it being 25 celsius, told them ac was not working, & said its not turned on yet. My last night at 10:45pm maintenance shows up to "fix the ac" Good to know they wanted to fix it 12 hours before i left & they wanted to make my stay comfortable right after I paid my bill...Room is outdated from before I was born. No outlets by bed, only USB ports, if u have USBC charger, u won\'t have your phone next to u. who knows the last time the curtains, decorative pillows, throw blanket had been clean (they are at least 15 years old). So much dust I got sick my first day. Hair dryer cord is maybe 8 inches long max difficult to use. Beach all rock & not easy to deal with, if ur looking for an easy beach to access, walk down the harbor about 20 min. Everything outdated. had to turn in your key (was a physical key not a keycard) everytime u left the property became a hassle. Door handles are old, in my opinion probably easy to pick.Only reason I liked the hotel was because of the location. No issue w/ taxi booked by the hotel, Friday Night went out for a dinner, bolt driver back harrassed me & made inappropriate comments, and did not let me out until I screamed for help. I asked front desk how I can report to authorities, a non emergency # Guy at desk said he will get back to me the next day, no follow up. was a scary experience & would hv appreciated support Overall the stay was not great, definitely wouldn\'t stay again

Stayed here for 3 days. Staff very friendly and attentive. Rooms were spotless and beds comfortable with great pillows. The food choice is huge and absolutely delicious. My brother and I loved this hotel. We were trying to work out why it isn't 5 stars. There's even a bus stop opposite the hotel and another a few 100 meters up the road. The only negative was around allergen listings on food. I have an allergy to soya. I was told that the bread didn't contain soya but when I persuaded the chef to check the packaging, it contained E471 which is soya lecethin and therefore I shouldn't have been told there was no soya. It's a common error I've found in the UK and wherever I've travelled and I suspect/hope that anyone with a severe allergy double checks in the same way I do. But it would be so refreshing if restaurants could get this right. I lose trust in all of the allergen listings once I know there has been at least one mistake. It's tiring and awkward all round to have to question food labelling, but better than being very ill or even dead. Nevertheless I would definitely stay at this hotel again as would my brother.

Woul be all ok, but few points to mention: Wifi connection in rooms is terrible, several times a day you need to re-enter password and etc Inside heated pool is more like a lottery - water temperature varies from below 28\'C - to 31\'C and up. That is a big difference and this has not improved since we were on the same hotel last February Rooms are "cleaned" daily, however, if you look in corners, under the bed and even inside the closed - it seems those places are never cleaned. Pay extreme attention to what room type you book: side-sea-view room is sold as sea view and even superior sea view is actually - side sea view, while street/mountains view room can be no view room at all - our 394 room was exactly the case. Rude and arrogant reception manager (a man I don\'t remember his name) Very overcrowded breakfast restaurant, this is extremely noticeable after hotel build an additional flour on top

Excellent hotel for adults, staff are wonderful happy and helpful, food is excellent, facilities and space around the pools and gardens is perfect, not over crowded beds are 10-15 feet apart from others. Room spacious and fabulous

Dit was onze vierde keer in Athena royal beach hotel, en we genieten elke keer weer van de ideale ligging aan het water, de rust, de mooie kamers, het vriendelijke personeel. We kregen een gratis upgrade van kamertype - ideaal omdat het weer een paar dagen tegen zat. We vinden het entertainment elke avond ook geslaagd; er werd veel gedanst de voorbije avonden! Wij komen zeker terug!

This was hotel was amazing Rooms well equipped, very clean and quiet Breakfast choice was varied with both European/uk and Cypriot restaurants Hotel staff were brilliant and really took pride in everything they did Good location on the beach and by the bus stop

Pretty sure all bad reviews are taken down. Room had no AC w/ it being 25 celsius, told them ac was not working, & said its not turned on yet. My last night at 10:45pm maintenance shows up to "fix the ac" Good to know they wanted to fix it 12 hours before i left & they wanted to make my stay comfortable right after I paid my bill...Room is outdated from before I was born. No outlets by bed, only USB ports, if u have USBC charger, u won\'t have your phone next to u. who knows the last time the curtains, decorative pillows, throw blanket had been clean (they are at least 15 years old). So much dust I got sick my first day. Hair dryer cord is maybe 8 inches long max difficult to use. Beach all rock & not easy to deal with, if ur looking for an easy beach to access, walk down the harbor about 20 min. Everything outdated. had to turn in your key (was a physical key not a keycard) everytime u left the property became a hassle. Door handles are old, in my opinion probably easy to pick.Only reason I liked the hotel was because of the location. No issue w/ taxi booked by the hotel, Friday Night went out for a dinner, bolt driver back harrassed me & made inappropriate comments, and did not let me out until I screamed for help. I asked front desk how I can report to authorities, a non emergency # Guy at desk said he will get back to me the next day, no follow up. was a scary experience & would hv appreciated support Overall the stay was not great, definitely wouldn\'t stay again

Well laid out hotel. No rush or queuing. Ample spaces out sun beds. Lovely breakfast. Ample parking in hotel car park. Waiter service at sun beds is a real bonus. Hotel and rooms are functioning well but could do with a facelift.

Stayed here for 3 days. Staff very friendly and attentive. Rooms were spotless and beds comfortable with great pillows. The food choice is huge and absolutely delicious. My brother and I loved this hotel. We were trying to work out why it isn't 5 stars. There's even a bus stop opposite the hotel and another a few 100 meters up the road. The only negative was around allergen listings on food. I have an allergy to soya. I was told that the bread didn't contain soya but when I persuaded the chef to check the packaging, it contained E471 which is soya lecethin and therefore I shouldn't have been told there was no soya. It's a common error I've found in the UK and wherever I've travelled and I suspect/hope that anyone with a severe allergy double checks in the same way I do. But it would be so refreshing if restaurants could get this right. I lose trust in all of the allergen listings once I know there has been at least one mistake. It's tiring and awkward all round to have to question food labelling, but better than being very ill or even dead. Nevertheless I would definitely stay at this hotel again as would my brother.

Approaching the hotel it looked well cared for and once inside it did not disappoint. We received a smiling, warm welcome, and given a very pleasant drink. We paid for a side sea view room but were upgraded to a full sea view. The room was perfect, had everything in it you could think of, even bathroom scales and a shoe horn. A bottle of wine and plate of fruit was totally unexpected. The choice of food at breakfast was second to none, as were the evening meals. The entertainers were lovely and there were plenty of choices of activities. Every member of staff wanted to pleas. There were plenty of smiles and lots of generosity on offer. Certainly an experience we shall remember for all the right reasons.

Very good visit. Nice hotel, friendly staff, great breakfast buffé, entertainment every night and clean. If we would comment something negative it will be that the pool was too warm and the staff in the reception was not very friendly, we barely got a smile during our week.

Once we arrived we were impressed. The buffet breakfast and dinner was excellent. The only issue we had was pre arrival. We emailed numerous times to enquire about a taxi/car to pick us up from the airport and no-one replied. We ended up being fleeced by a taxi to the hotel, which was a disappointing start. The hotel apologised and were able to book us a taxi back to the airport but it was frustrating.

This property is in an ideal location for the short walk along the coast into Paphos. The dining options at the Hotel are brilliant and the food is amazing. We stayed on a half board basis as we have previously done in the past. The staff are excellent, friendly and very helpful. The outdoor pools are very good (We didn’t use the indoor pool but it looked good) and there is nightly entertainment should you require it. I would highly recommend this hotel and without a doubt, we will return! Thanks to all the staff at the Athena Royal Beach for making our stay so memorable.

The hotel was excellent , great value for money. The position was just right . The staff were amazing in all areas.so helpful & always smiling . VIP was definitely worth it . Sea view room was lovely. Perfect for adults only . Only one negative. The pool was freezing , too cold to go into . Such a shame as everything else was great . I’m sure we will return . Thank you all for working so hard to make sure it was a happy experience.

Eigentlich ein gutes Hotel, direkte Strandlage (Stein/Fels) mit Zugang über Steg. Im Frühling vornehmlich Langzeittouristen (Rentner) aus England, angenehme Atmosphäre. Frühstück leider sehr laut, Musik übertrieben laut und dadurch sehr laute Geräuschkulisse. Personal eher aufdringlich freundlich und teilweise sehr bestimmend. Zimmertüren sehr dünn, Dichtungen zum Flur fehlen und die Türschlösser sind quasi nur Attrappe und sehr leicht aufzubrechen. Im Sommer würde ich keine Wertgegenstände im Zimmer lassen! Allgemein aber ein guter Zustand, nur sehr wenige Schmuddelecken.

From the time we arrived at the Hotel, staff were so friendly. Plus we got an upgrade to a one bed suite which had amazing views.The hotel was spotless and a credit to all involed. The room was immaculate and cleaned every day by very plesant staff , who are a credit to the hotel.The food have to say was excellent and staff. The bars were also excellent and staff . We had a Cabana overlooking the sea which was fantastic and a phone if you wanted bar service. Overall it was our first time in Cyprus and picking the The Athena Royal Beach just made it special. Its about 30 min walk into paphos harbour where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Just down from the hotel you can get a bus ito the harbour for 1.50 euro. We had dinner in the hotel every night as the food was excellent. Just want to mention the staff again who were 10/10. Thank you for making our two week holiday special. We will be back as to be honest it was the most relaxing holiday.

The room was immaculate and cleaned every day by very plesant staff , who are a credit to the hotel.The food have to say was excellent and staff. The bars were also excellent and staff . We had a Cabana overlooking the sea which was fantastic and a phone if you wanted bar service. Overall it was our first time in Cyprus and picking the The Athena Royal Beach just made it special. Its about 30 min walk into paphos harbour where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Just down from the hotel you can get a bus ito the harbour for 1.50 euro. We had dinner in the hotel every night as the food was excellent. Just want to mention the staff again who were 10/10. Thank you for making our two week holiday special. We will be back as to be honest it was the most relaxing holiday.
From the time we arrived at the Hotel, staff were so friendly. Plus we got an upgrade to a one bed suite which had amazing views.The hotel was spotless and a credit to all involed. This property is in an ideal location for the short walk along the coast into Paphos. The dining options at the Hotel are brilliant and the food is amazing. We stayed on a half board basis as we have previously done in the past. The staff are excellent, friendly and very helpful. The outdoor pools are very good (We didn’t use the indoor pool but it looked good) and there is nightly entertainment should you require it. I would highly recommend this hotel and without a doubt, we will return! Thanks to all the staff at the Athena Royal Beach for making our stay so memorable.

Food all very high standard, we were all inclusive and the choice was different each day. Hotel and grounds are lovely. View is great but the beach is rocky so not really able to access the sea.

The hotel was excellent , great value for money. The position was just right . The staff were amazing in all areas.so helpful & always smiling . VIP was definitely worth it . Sea view room was lovely. Perfect for adults only . Only one negative. The pool was freezing , too cold to go into . Such a shame as everything else was great . I’m sure we will return . Thank you all for working so hard to make sure it was a happy experience.

Everything about the hotel was more than we expected. The staff are very friendly and always on hand. The hotel and gardens are immaculate and it is well served with public transport. Florin the restaurant manager provides a vast array of food options together with great staff. Would not hesitate to return.
