I asked for top floor and had to wait til 2:30pm for it but it was worth it. Fantastic view out to the west. Facilities were good. I like the Arrival Lounge for my meetings whilst waiting for my room to be available. Free luggage storage. They have a nice looking gym and swimming pool but I had too much work this trip to use them. I’d definitely book here again if I get the chance!

Nothing was wrong with the apartment. It was lovely with huge views. But the elevators were a problem because you could wait for ages for one to come. Sometimes people were lined up in a queue right back to the lobby waiting to get into an elevator. For this reason alone I probably wouldn't stay there again. It is the weakest link which breaks a chain - and the weakest link was the lift!

Traveled to Sydney to run the marathon and stayed for 9 days. Staff- Riley at check in was very welcoming and helpful throughout our trip - he should be recognized for his great work. Room - the room was a great space - with a shower and a bathtub, kitchen, living room, etc. The only compliant was the bed was a king, but it was really two twins put together with a comforter zipped together. Never used cleaning services, which were only provided twice during our stay Pool/Hot tub/Sauna/Gym - wonderful! the pool was a lap pool and comfortable, the hot tub was large , couldve been hotter, but still fine, sauna was great, gym was a decent size. All great for post-marathon recovery Location - incredible. Right in the center of the Sydney busy area with Paddys close by, George street and QVB nearby, and many places to eat and drink

As in life it’s all about the people not just the product. Anna at the front desk went out of her way with great communication ahead of our arrival to assist us with some special requests. Great location. Most main attractions & tramway is within nearby walking distances. So many great dining options to choose from are right near the entrance to the hotel. Excellent indoor pool, Spa pool & Gym. Very pleased with the quality of service provided by the room servicing / cleaning schedule system. Safe & secure room access key card lift system. Crowded at check in & checkout which is to be expected, otherwise faultless.

Have stayed in this and other Meriton properties over the years. Always consistent quality, cleanliness, friendly/helpful staff and great locations. The pool and gym here were were. Easy walk to Town Hall, Museum stations for airport etc and tram stop 1min away. As per previous reviews of other properties the only thing that was annoying is the lift management system. Appreciate these are large buildings but lifts generally take forever to arrive and seem to have no logical process. In spite of that would still highly recommend and will stay again if pricing continues to be competitive.

We were very disappointed at the cleanliness of the place. The windows to the balcony were very dirty . The balcony was black with dirt and there were cigarette ends. We informed reception as we were going out but were disappointed when we returned about 4 hours later that nothing had been done. We chased it up and the cleaners came and cleaned it all while we had to be in the bedroom. Later on in the day we moved the dining table and there was a yellow gooey liquid underneath the table. Obviously the table never gets moved when the cleaning happens. We have stayed in different Meriton suites and this was not the standard we expected.

usually stay here each time we visit Sydney . Most recent was December . This time was quite disappointing when they no longer provided face washers ( which would have been nice to be told before we turned up and had to go buy our own ) room was very dusty , the tv looked like it had never been wiped down nor windows which I opened the blinds and was shocked how much dust came around . The bedhead was covered in dust . Mini fridge smelt really bad needed a good clean .

Overall we liked the room and location. What was disappointing was the cleanliness and how it was maintained. The corners behind doors and grout needed cleaning. The shower had mold in corners and under the rubber door stop along bottom of glass door and in some of the grout. We reported it to the actual cleaning people and they said they would check it out but nothing changed in the couple days after reporting. Also they had no wash cloths. We asked but they said they didn’t have those anymore. We had to wash our face and shower with a hand towel. It would also be nice to have directions on how to work the washer/dryer and the dishwasher. Washer didn’t dry our clothes only half way. Had to have maintenance come up but he wasn’t real sure either. We did get them dryer the second time but not completely. The dishwasher, the soap dispenser did not open twice trying to wash. Again, the maintenance couldn’t help. I will say the balcony was great. The bed was very comfortable. The heat and air conditioning worked really well also.

There were hair and dust in the room, needs improvement in cleaning. Housekeeping went inside the room to refill soap and stuff without permission, yet no cleaning was done. The room is spacious and quiet, but cleanliness is a major concern.

The kitchen was furnished with cooking utensils. But the cleanliness is not good. The tables and chairs on the terrace were covered with dust, and the window frames had spider webs. The worst was that the smell emitted from the vent of the restaurant next door came into the room along the direction of the wind. And the noise of the vent pen was very bad. In fact, we came back to Australia to get some fresh air, but we couldn't open the living room window. If you are going to this accommodation, please double-check at the front desk to see if the room is in the direction of the restaurant vent. I stayed at this accommodation five years ago, but unfortunately, the good memories of that time disappeared. I don't want to recommend this accommodation at all. Had an older suite that had mould along shower stall caulking, very dusty along cabinets and doors. Shower fan didn't appear to be connected. Housekeeping only comes every third day.

Washroom was not very clean lots of flies around the shower area . The air conditioner is up above the bed and very noisy. Started in the early morning you can heard sounds like vacuum door slam at all times.

The accommodation is very good & is real handy to transport & lots of restaurants in walking distance only downsides are TV is complicated & keeps dropping out , WiFi is real bad so slow & only 1 English breakfast tea bag a day for 2 people but big picture very good fix the small things n excellent

A spacious place to stay. Room and bed are clean and comfortable.We had an issue with bathroom drain and they fixed it next day. Only one towel per person so we asked for more. Prompt response. Finding any usb and outlets to charge our phones was inconvenient. I’d recommend they change the lights by the bed to charging with USB. Subway and tram stops are a 5-7 minute walk. Good restaurants everywhere,

Suites are clean and spacious. Location is great, just next to the World Square and you are surrounded by shops and restaurants and train stations. However, check in experience was abysmal. I arrived on time at the advertised 3PM check-in time. The front desk told me the room is not ready AFTER my card was charged. Although this was resolved 45 minutes later, I have seen other guests unable to check-in even after 5PM on that day. Out of the hundreds of hotels and apartments I have stayed in my life, this is the only one that does not respect time punctuality. The front desk line is always long. The elevators are very inefficient and slow. Expect 5 minutes wait if you want to get down from your floor. At checkout time, the concierge line was horribly long as well, so I just threw in the key cards at the express checkout box and left. The quality of service here is not consistent with other Meriton properties I have stayed at, hence the lower rating scores by other guests.

Communication, access, cleanliness, room condition, comfort, all excellent. I’m quite fussy so all great feedback is rare. No complaints. I’ll be cancelling an upcoming booking elsewhere and book back in at Kent Street Meriton. Very impressed.

The room is perfect, everything is perfect except the check in process. The queue to check in was very very long and we could only check in at 4:30pm instead of 3pm due to the queue and room wasn't available yet. BUT the hotel has the arrival room so you can wait while having free coffee. Service need to be improve on the check in. I travelled a lot but never seen that bad.

We arrived after three and our room wasn't ready, but the lovely receptionist upgraded us so that we could get ready for our event. We had the two bedroom, it was stunning, with a fantastic view. Really beautiful clean suite.

We had issues checking in. We had a debit card but we still got charged a surcharge for a credit card. Had no choice but to pay the additional $30 Aud for something that wasn’t in our control as it was their machines that was reading our card as a credit card. The bathroom was dirty and had bugs coming out of the shower drain. We stayed for 8 days however only received housekeeping one time on the 5th day after requesting it about 3 times. We had friends over for dinner at 9-10pm and we got informed that we were loud and the guests had 10 mins to leave and it was a 2 person room? I didn’t see any rules about having guests over for dinner nor a time limit on how long the guests can stay. Location is good for the area.

Meriton Kent St is an easy walking distance to the majority of the city. I prefer this end as it isn't as noisy and close to lots of entertainment, theatres & restaurants. The suite we stayed in had a balcony as well and was extremely comfortable. There is also an indoor pool , hot tub Sauna & Gym for guests use. Parking is available onsite for $55 per night

We enjoyed having the washing machine and dryer. Balcony was nice to have. It was a great location, at George Street. Streetcar to the ferries and to the Opera House.
