Right in the awesome historic old town. 11 minute from train station we took Renfe Ave from Madrid. Extremely walkable area to many shops and restaurants. The gym downstairs is usable, a bike, treadmill, some dumbells , dumbell bench.

Excellent hotel with a nice location, walking distance to the old town and much more. Friendly staff, clean and nice room. We were there just one night and did not use the pool or eat breakfast so dont know about that. Be prepared to pay up for parking if you arrive with a car, as there are no free parking around the area. Lots of parking houses nearby though. Valencià is a really beautiful and exciting city, and this hotel is a good starting point for exploring it.

Bien, solo q la habitación triple era muy estrecha para 3 huéspedes. Los elevadores son muy lentos y el personal de limpieza los usa a la vez que los huéspedes lo usan y se hace cuello de botella. Nos tocó bajar x las escaleras por la demora en los elevadores.

Positives: perfect location in the middle of Valencia, one block from city hall plaza; we were able to bring our dog for a daily fee; they provided a baby cot for our daughter; felt like the hotel was recently renovated; great customer service; had a room on the top floor with great soundproofing (couldn’t hear anything from the street); room had a balcony with furniture which is a rarity for hotels in the area. Negatives: the junior suite that we booked felt small (barely enough space for us to maneuver…I can’t imagine how small the regular rooms were); the suite had a separate sitting area from the bed, but no door between the two so it wasn’t ideal for our young daughter who had a different sleep schedule; only 2 elevators for the whole building plus the staff with only one going to the 7th floor where our room was…often had to wait awhile, especially in the morning; could clearly hear noise from the hallway including a supply closet right across from our room that the staff accessed regularly; gym was small with limited equipment.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Valencia. Rooms were relatively spacious, had a fridge & minibar, and were very clean. They also had air-con so were comfortable to sleep in. Room had double set of windows so was very quiet at night, and curtains were quite dark to keep light out. Breakfast was good, great selection of food & drinks. Location was perfect, right in the centre of the city and only 5 minutes walk to the underground metro. Overall a great hotel, would stay again.

Wir haben einen Teil unseres Urlaubs in Valencia im Catalonia Excelsior verbracht. Die Lage des Hotels ist ideal, um die Stadt zu besichtigen – alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig zu erreichen und direkt vor dem Hotel befindet sich eine Bushaltestelle. Das Hotel beeindruckt mit sehr freundlichem Personal, ausgezeichnetem Service, sauberen und modernen Zimmern sowie einem sehr guten Frühstück. Für Gäste mit Mietwagen ist es vielleicht etwas unpraktisch, dass das Hotel keine eigenen Parkplätze anbietet, aber in den umliegenden Straßen findet man in der Regel einen Platz. Die Zimmer sind modern ausgestattet und sehr sauber, die Renovierung scheint erst kürzlich erfolgt zu sein. Wir konnten hier hervorragend schlafen und waren rundum zufrieden. Wir können das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen, insbesondere für alle, die ein sehr gutes Hotel in zentraler Lage suchen. Wir werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen.

Smallest bathroom I have experienced in Spain. The bathroom door cannot fully open bc it hits the bidet. Cracked granite on sink too. Definitely needs remodeling. Otherwise no complaints.

Fourmis dans la salle de bains et dans la chambre. Très très bruyant. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre ils nous ont répondu que l'hôtel est complet... Ils ont mis du silicone devant la baignoire, il y avait encore des fourmis les jours suivants. Pas de geste commercial. La chambre mal isolée, on entend les passages dans le couloir, les chasses d'eau de l'étage. Les employés du petit déjeuner ne disent pas bonjour, le responsable petit déjeuner très fier ne vous laisse pas vous installer ou vous le souhaitez. Viennoiseries décongelées. Ils ne remplissent pas systématiquement les plats vides, les grands bols à café sont posés tout en bas, les petits en haut. Cela ne vaut pas 18 €. En quittant l'hôtel personne ne vous remercie, ne vous demande si cela c'est bien passé, personne ne vous dit au revoir. Cet Hôtel ne mérite pas 4 étoiles. A éviter.

Great location. There was a festival going on while we were there and there was constant fireworks and parades. The windows were double paned so you couldn’t even tell anything was going on outside. The staff was very friendly and helpful with what things to see and restaurants to go to.

This place is entirely reliant on its (very good) location. Our room wasn't ready at 3pm, which was understandable as it was just after the torrential rains in València, but instead of making us comfortable at the restaurant the staff could only provide extremely basic choices there. They were very nice, so we have no complaints about the staff at all, but management needs to realise that if a customer cannot enter the room they paid for in full they need to go above and beyond to compensate. After cancelled flights and a night at the airport we really couldn't wait to rest somewhere, we even called beforehand and were assured that check in is at 3pm... In the end we got a room that was fairly basic for the price, this place clearly survives by being in a great location. Will not be back.

Perfect location in the old city (Ciutat Vella) - very central, conveniently walkable to all major tourist areas of interest, while also somehow being very peaceful & quiet at night-time. The hotel itself looks new and is in great condition, and it has a very well regarded restaurant on the ground floor (although we didn’t try it ourselves).
