We had a brief stay last night and it was a very comfortable and friendly experience. The front desk staff were lovely, personable and friendly. The room was clean, fun decor and the bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever been on!! Even the pillows were fantastic. We played pool and enjoyed the Grandma's Basement fun room, although the pool cues need a little upgrading ;) We had a great stay! I've been to Hotel Zed 3-4 times now and I've always had a great experience!!

The pool and the basement are the best parts of this hotel. The pool is under a roof but still outdoors, so we were not worried about applying sunscreen all day. The slide is very fun and was hours of entertainment for our kids aged 6,7,8. The guests were so friendly, more so than the usual BC resident which was refreshing! The basement is a common area under the lobby and had a pool table, record player and more! Honestly, you don’t even have to leave this hotel, it was so fun for the kids and for us too.

Absolutely loved this place. The room was stylishly decorated and the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Reception staff super friendly and helpful. We had breakfast in Ruby’s one morning which was great. Spent an hour or so in Grandma’s basement playing games and listening to vinyl records. Loved everything about it. Convenient for downtown Victoria. Just a super place to stay.

Helpful staff when I thought I was locked out of my room and trying to get hold of my husband. Gave me a few options.

My goto hotel for trips with my grandson. He absolutely loves the pool and waterslide but his favourite place is gramma basement where he gets to hang out and play pool in the 80’s vibe basement . Ruby’s restaurant is alway excellent as well. Great location with a chill vibe and VERY kid friendly.,we’ll be back!
