Beautiful room, bed is fantastic, comfortable and soft sheets. Lovely ambience in the room. Unfortunately there is ongoing construction on the street outside which they have no control over. Lots of stairs and no elevator (it’s a Victorian Inn) so be aware. That said, staff are happy to assist you. Wonderful breakfast served on a tiered tray, very classy, and also included in the hotel stay. Highly recommend.

Room was spacious , very clean and had a great view over the harbour. Breakfast was lovely and had a nice range of choices. Staff were great. Only downside was the construction across the steeet- it interrupted the harbour view. Offer of a welcome drink to offset rhis inconvenience was a nice touch.

Late check in was handled perfectly. No elevator and we were given a room on top floor. Couple of trips to get up. Charged for parking because we used a third party ie hotels.com. Be careful of the low ceilings bumped my head twice. Room was clean bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was great both mornings but second morning brought me the wrong breakfast but was corrected quickly. They did offer to assist with luggage even at 10pm when we arrived. Oh harbour work going on until Aug 2028 but we were not in the room for long in am and they stopped work at 7 pm. Barbs fish n chips 8 min walk was a great take home option. Overall happy but was not the perfect stay. Oh no ice available and everyone leaves the hotel that work there at 6pm. Do not leave without your room card or you cannot get back in.
