This has been my worst hotel experience so far and I travelled a lot. I’m okay with self check-in, but this should be notified to customers ahead of the time, and states clearly on your website. The self-check-in process is as smooth as it can be, but the European keyboard is not user friendly for international travelers. It takes me quite a few minutes to find “@“ on the keyboard while I was extremely tired and stressed about if I can check in. The water fountain in the lobby has its tap broken. The WiFi is free to connect with no password, but there’s no signage anywhere to notify the customer of how to connect WiFi. When I get to the room, I was glad to see that there’s a water boiler. But guess what, there’s NO plug can fit in. This is rather a silly design. The charging plug issue goes same to the bed, where there’s no plug next to the bedhead, which is extremely inconvenient. No info on the mini bar. There are items in the fridge but no price info can be found anywhere. This is no air conditioner in the room. During my stay, the weather is fine. But I can’t imagine how to survive on a hot summer night. (There is heating system for the winter.) The room has a weird shape (which is ok) but has a mirror facing directly to the bed. This is bad Fengshui, and the reason is that you get startled when you see the mirror in the middle of the night. This is not a pleasant stay rather an escape room test. We had an early train to catch so we decided to stay overnight in Zurich so we wouldn’t be late. Though it served its purpose, we have mixed feelings about this hotel. We were able to park in one of there four parking spaces and check-in before returning our rental car over by the main train station. The walk back to the hotel from there was not terribly long, but we wouldn’t want to make that walk with luggage, so we took a taxi back to the train station the next morning. We know that most hotel rooms in Europe are small, but other than the bed, everything else was tiny, including the shower. I think the bathroom was what most of our complaints are about. It really was not as clean as we would expect, the shower drain was very slow, so we were standing in a lot of water, and the hair dryer didn’t work. There was a portable AC unit in the room, and since it had been an unusually warm day for Zurich, it ran all night long to keep the room comfortable, so I’m glad that was there, as well as the complimentary water bottles. Also, the staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We were able to check-in an hour early and they arranged for our taxi the next morning. Oh, there is a wonderful bakery right across the street that opens bright and early.

Well above what I expected. The pre-check in online hadn't registered that we had paid via a third party and wouldnt let us fill in our details before arrival which was worrying, their first email response was quick and helpful, the second they just didnt respond to hiwever we managed to contact them directly. We were arriving late so were concerned but we had the door code and could fill everything in via the machine in the lobby which did know we had already paid. The location is great, beds comfortable, room big enough (small bathroom). The breakfast was delicious and i loved the small details like the rubber duck in the shower, AC in room, free hand sanitizer in room and lobby and an umbrella to borrow. Very happy overall after our stay! Price worth it.

Not very clean, clogged sink, they didn’t service our room, terrible pillows. Lady at reception was nice but said she’d get maintenance to fix the clogged sink and didn’t, so not very effective. Breakfast was good.

It’s a nice little boutique hotel in a good neighborhood. Easy transportation right outside makes it easy to access. The hotel itself is what you would expect from a 3-star accommodation. The room was nice and tidy, although the tv didn’t work or could not be started (there was no manual to be found). The breakfast was a little too cheap I think, beside yoghurt there wasn’t much to choose from. No bacon or sausages for the scrambled eggs, no ham or similar to the toast etc.

We got to the hotel during hot weather. As instructed online, I called the property the day before we checked in to ensure there would be portable AC in the room. However, we were told only fan is available in the 90+ degree weather. We could not sleep during the nights. Won’t stay here again.

Zimmer sauber, aber unerträglich warm, weil es kein Klimaanlage gibt. Provisorisch aufgestellt Ventilatoren habe leider auch nicht geholfen. Frühstück war nett, Empfangsdame aber sehr unfreundlich. Soweit in Ordnung für ein-zwei Nächte.

The hotel was nice, but we got there after 6:00pm and the check in process was terrible. After I spent 30 minutes filling out a form on the computer, it failed. There was a phone next to the laptop with a HELPLINE, so someone did pick up and help me, but it was a pain after travelling all day. Other guests were telling me "good luck with that". The room was clean and the breakfast was okay and free with the room charge.

Check in was a disaster as no body there after 5pm tried to check in using there computer system wouldn’t recognise booking number had to call them online they told me the booking number from hotel.com was different to Expedia they gave me the Expedia number to check in it took over 15 minutes to complete check in then I find they charged my card for the stay which I had already paid in July had to contact them again to get reimbursed I am still out of pocket due to the transaction fees charged another traveler behind us wasn’t happy either with the check in procedure

Hier wird am Personal gespart! Für so ein unpersönliches Hotel und leistungsarmes Hotel ist der Preis nicht gerechtfertigt! Keine Infos/Stadtplan vor Ort etc. Entgegen den Buchungsangaben ist die Rezeption nicht persönlich besetzt. Die anwesende Mitarbeiterin räumt nur den Frühstücksbereich auf, kümmert sich aber nicht um anreisende Gäste! Diese müssen einen komplizierten Self-check-in am PC durchführen. Den angekündigten Code zum Hotelzugang habe ich nie erhalten! Hätten mir nicht andere Gäste die Türe geöffnet . . . Frühstück wurde ab 9:00 Uhr nicht nachgefüllt. Nur eine Mitarbeiterin anwesend, diese hatte alle Hände voll zu tun, das Geschirr abzuräumen und konnte sich nicht um das kleine Buffet kümmern. Im ersten Zimmer war das Waschbecken so klein, dass ich es als Handwaschbecken bezeichne, die schiefe Ablagefläche direkt über der Toilette. Betten gut - jedoch ist die Tram von draußen so laut, dass mir keine ruhige Nacht vergönnt war. Preisliste in der Minibar fehlt. Personal - wenn eines da ist (Zimmermädchen) freundlich.

This hotel is little far from the central.. You have to walk 5 mins to the tram, then take the number 7 trăm, after 3 stops will get you to the central.. Breakfast is very simple (not much selection), also, rooms are very small compare to the price.

Nice European hotel steps from local rail and within walking distance to Old Town area of Zurich. Don’t expect a large US type room. Rooms and bathrooms are small, and they serve a traditional European breakfast- no bacon and eggs here. For the money, it’s a good hotel. If you’re looking for a larger brand, you’ll pay considerably more. I’d stay here again

Room modern and had everything we needed. Breakfast had a good selection of items, plus coffee very good! Location good, uphill but only a 20 minute walk from train station. Check in was complicated but once inside the hotel the staff on the phone (no one there in person) sorted it for us.
