I wasn’t happy with having to pay extra for parking on the hotel property…that should have been included in the purchase of the room. Also was not very happy with the hot water situation in the shower…the temperature kept jumping around from too hot to too cold the whole time without adjusting the tap. For a room that cost me more than $800 Australian dollars a night…I think it SHOULD have been top notch!

This was a rather affordable place to stay, which is ideally located to the city center and had all the amenities necessary for a family, including parking secured behind a gate for a reasonable price. I would stay here again with my family.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms are small and the air conditioning does its best. The breakfast was a good value, it had lots of parking and the staff were helpful. I would stay here again. I was a solo traveler

Room has a slatted see thru shower, toilet has a door that doesn't latch nor lock. You can only separate those areas with a curtain by the bed. Not very private at ALL! No kettle, fridge, nor microwave in the room. No hair dryer. One towel each, one pillow each unless you ask. Hot water free in the lobby, bring your own tea bags or coffee sachets. There is a microwave in the lobby. Cup of coffee is 3.50, breakfast is continental and 14chf you can add on. We did not. On the positive side, the room was clean, we felt safe, it's directly across from a bus stop into town, and easily walkable to town and the train station. Note: if you walk in for a room, it's upwards of 200chf a night on their board. Make sure you book third party, we paid HALF that on an app!!

Die 2 Erwachsene Frauen für Stadtbesuch hat es vollkommen ausgereicht. Alles war perfekt. Föhn hat 20 Euro Kaution gekostet. Nach der Rückgabe bekommt man das Geld wieder. Man braucht einen Adapter. Besser ein eigenes mitnehmen. Parkplätze gab es genug. Im Haus daneben gibt es einen Laden, wo man alles notwendige kaufen kann (Lebensmittel).

Clean rooms. Reasonable price for the amenities you get. They only have a handsoap and toilet papers as your amenities. Hair dryer would need a deposit to borrow. Bus stop right in front. Don't plan to walk from the train station with your luggages as it is on an uphill. Compared to hotels around the area charging crazy amount for a night, this hotel provided clean, comfortable bed for a reasonable price. This is a budget hotel. The rooms are very small, with small cubicles for shower and toilet. A curtain divides the beds from the shower & toilet doors. There are no bedside tables, or tea/coffee making facilities. Two small paper cups were provided. The room was very clean, and the beds are comfortable. Large, white soft towels provided. The blow dryer needed to be requested from Reception (after paying a 20CHF deposit - which was returned when blowdryer was returned). 3.5CHF was charged to store luggage.

The hotel was a bus ride away from train station which was a little inconvenient. When we got to hotel at 12:00 we were told our room was available but it was too early to check in. We were given 2 options: pay 3 CHF per bag for the front desk to hold our bags or we could pay 20CHF if we wanted to check in early. The next day I needed a hair dryer and had to give a $20 deposit at front desk to borrow the hairdryer, which was returned when I returned hair dryer. The staff that we encountered were all super super nice and friendly, they were just following the hotel policy regarding checkin and hairdryer. The breakfast was just ok. Yogurt, cold cereal, hard boiled eggs, no toaster, juices. The room was super small. The shower is right next to the bed so when you step out of the shower you are standing right next to the bed. The sink is in the bedroom because there really isn’t a bathroom. I can’t say I would recommend this hotel but the staff was wonderful!

The room we booked was small, which I expected, more like a small cabin on a ship. The bed was comfortable. My only complaint is that when we arrived at about 12.30pm, we were told that luggage storage was full and early access to our room, which was ready, would be 20 Francs. We were caught, and as I was not feeling well, we paid. Other hotels with similar early check-in rules had previously, with good grace, let us into our room early as we have early check outs, in this case 4.30am. My major concern is that we spoke to reception at checkout about a refund of our 20 Francs and I have messaged the hotel twice and they have not responded. The poor customer is my concern with this hotel. As the luggage storage was full, I feel some good customer service to offset this promised option, as given by others, should have been utilised here.

숙소 바로 앞에 교통수단이 있어 매우 편리하고, 바로 옆에 너무 괜찮은 슈퍼마켓이 있어 너무 좋았으나. 실질적으로 숙박을 해야하는 호텔 리셉션 직원이 불친절하구, 인종차별을 너무 대놓고 해 매우 불쾌하구 자존심이 상했다. 무료로 숙박을 제공한다해도 다시는 가고 싶지않다. 수많은 여행지를 다녀봐도 이런 호텔은 처음이라..IBIS란 호텔의 좋은 이미지도 바닥으로 떨어짐

Convenient and on budget. 10-15” walk to City Center. The staff was warm, welcoming, and helpful at all times. Make sure to request your Guest Card to use for free bus travel throughout Lucerne. The bus picks up right outside of the hotel. Breakfast was simple and well prepared. The grocery store next door is also helpful for inexpensive snacks and drinks for your room. Don’t miss The Golden Tour with Pilates-Bahnen. Go early to avoid crowds. We enjoyed the designated swimming area Ufschötti just a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Long summer nights made the lake swims all the better. Last, the walking tour through Alstadt (Old Town) was a fun way to get to know the city. Enjoy Lucerne. We sure did.

While the room was somewhat small, it was great in the sense of all the lights and the ability to control them from your bed. Additionally each side of the bed as well as the top of the bunk bed have their own lights as well. It was a great stay overall. We only had the breakfast one day but it was good. Highly recommend as not far away from the bus stop and they provided a free bus pass for us to use in Luzern during our stay (since we trained and did not have a car)

Bed was just ok in comfort. Breakfast was a disaster. They ran out of plates and silverware multiple times. Had to wait for eggs and fruit which worked out well since the plates came just before the food. They need additional staff in the breakfast area
