EL HOTEL ESTA EN REMODELACION, SOLO UNA TORRE ESTA REMODELADA, EL POCO PERSONAL QUE HAY SE ESMERA POR ATENDER A LOS HUESPEDES. LAS INSTALACIONES ESTAN SUCIAS, DESCUIDADAS, LA VEGETACION PARECE MALEZA. LA NUEVA ADMINISTRACION TIENE MUCHO QUE TRABAJAR. DEBERIAN DE CERRAR PARA NO COMPROMETER LA CALIDAD DE LA MARCA TIPO GRAND. SE TARDAN UNA HORA CON 30MMINUTOS PROMEDIO EN SERVIR UN PLATILLO Y TODO ESTA IMPROVISADO. LOS ESPECIOS PUBLICOS ESTAN QUE UN BALNEARIO POPULAR Y PARECE QUE HAY TURNOS PARA USAR LA ALBERCA. EL AGUA EXTREMADAMENTE TURBIA. HAY MAS GATOS QUE RONDAN LAS INSTALACIONES DEL HOTEL QUE PERSONAL. SI LLEVAN 6 MESES ASI, CREO QUE LES FALTA UN AÑO PARA ESTAR TOTALMENTE RENOVADOS. NO OLVIDEN LLEVAR SU ALMOHADA, POR QUE EN LA RECEPCION CONTESTAN QUE NO TIENEN SUFICIENTES POR QUE ESTAN EN REMODELACION.

Cómo sugerencia deberían ampliar o inaugurar la 2da alberca

Unique property, surrounded by beautiful gardens, japanese buildings & flavors . The service is generally very good. The staff really tries to make things work.( Special thanks to Juan -bellboy-) It would be appreciated if more medium sized bottles of water was offered in the rooms. I was told the pool is going to be renovated, and once finished , I think it will be a huge plus. Can't wait to visit it once the renovation is completed.

Era mejor servicio cuando era parte de Camino real. En temporada alta la alberca parece Tepetongo, el servicio de comida y atención lento y malo (sobrepasados), las habitaciones llenas de moscos. No regreso

Good stage and conforable hotel, but the many buildings were under maintenance for several months so the experience was very limited, not so much restaurant options, no spa nor bar and even lobby was under construction. It would be nice to increase the japanese experience, due to the only refference is the Kabuki museum, the japanese menu in only restaurante is limited.

Es un buen lugar, por el momento con los inconvenientes que ofrece la remodelación del lugar y la falta de mantenimiento de las canchas de tenis, su alberca sigue siendo excelente, el servicio de alimentación y el personal de servicio son muy buenos.

I visit this property every year. The rooms are always clean. The beds are very comfortable. The air conditioning works and I can control the temperature. The staff is very nice. The only part that is not the best is the spa facility. The staff is great but the spa facility itself needs to be updated. The pool is large but not deep.

Me fascina llegar a este hotel, es la primera vez que lo hago desde que es Fiesta Americana. Se ve que han remodelado e invertido en el hotel, solo hay 3 cosas que mejoraría: me puso muy triste ver que se les murieron al menos 5 árboles monumentales que tenían décadas, sino esque cientos de años ahí… cuiden el resto porque es una tragedia perderlos. Por otro lado, permiten que los huéspedes pongan bocinas propias con reggaeton a todo volumen en la alberca, lo cual cambia totalmente el ambiente del hotel (que al ser un hotel caro, no esperarías ese tipo de cosas). Por último, el agua de la alberca ya estaba bastante turbia ayer en la tarde, vale la pena ponerle más foco a eso. Por el resto, divino como siempre, me gustó mucho la nueva ropa de cama y las almohadas están infinitamente más cómodas que antes.

Por lo que me explicó, el personal están en la transición hacia ser gran fiesta americana y muchas cosas de las instalaciones como el elevador. El restaurante la segunda alberca están en malas condiciones o fuera de servicio como es el caso de la segunda alberca o el restaurante principal. Creo que la tarifa cobran actualmente es muy alta con relación a las instalaciones por el estado en que se encuentran. Eran mucho mejor cuando era de camino Real instalaciones. Ojalá puedan mejorar como eran antes sin subir más el precio de lo que ya lo subieron.

Excelente atención de todo el personal. Habitaciones en buen estado y limpias, amenidades excelentes. El sabor de los alimentos muy rico, a pesar de ser buffet.

Un lugar espectacular , hermosos jardines , habitaciones impecables y un excelente servicio.

Los jardines muy lindos. Muy mal servicio porque hay poco personal y no saben ni los horarios de restaurantes. Está en remodelación y los tiempos de servicio de comida son muy lentos, las periqueras y piso muy sucios. Pocas toallas en la alberca.

Muy mal servicio, todo extremadamente tardado. La habitación sucia con insectos muertos, incluyendo una cucaracha. Gente poco capaz en la recepción.

Lugar limpio, personal amable, tranquilo y rodeado de naturaleza. Recomiendo mas limpieza en alberca. Pero todo ok

A excepción de que la alberca está vez estuvo súper sucia y que el mesero de la Alberca fue algo grosero diría que todo bien, por favor no dejen decaer el hotel y denle buen mantenimiento a la alberca.

No es posible dormir bien en camas tan blandas, donde te hundes. Mi esposa y yo terminamos con dolor de espalda tras la estancia y con pocas horas de sueño.

El lugar es muy lindo y podría ser espectacular una vez terminada la renovación. las habitaciones nuevas son lindas y muy limpias. El area del alberca puede mejorar, como la calidad de la comida en general. 5 estrellas para el personal.

Excelente hotel de ensueño literal como estar en otro país, lo único malo que se escucha todo de habitación a habitación y nos tocaron unos huéspedes súper ruidosos pero aún así volveremos a regresar

Siempre es un lugar hermoso Sumiya, sin embargo, nuestro aire acondicionado falló. Si bien el equipo se encargó de resolver el problema de forma pronta y amable, fue un tanto incómodo pasar tanto calor en la madrugada. Sin embargo, el gerente del hotel y el equipo de recepción se comportaron a la altura, por lo que recomiendo hospedarse h verificar el aire al entrar a la habitación. Ojo, no es un lugar para adultos mayores o con discapacidad, ya que el camino al cuarto es largo y en algunos edificios no hay elevador.

The hotel’s outdoors is really nice, rooms need a lot of updating and upgrading. AC in my room was so loud I could not sleep. Bed was very comfortable. Service was slow in restaurants and overall food quality is regular.

El hotel es muy bonito. Hermosos jardines y muy bien cuidados. Los colchones son muy incómodos al igual que las almohadas. La comida es rica, pero de costos muy elevados. La alberca es amplia y a muy buena temperatura

Nice, spacious room, great gardens and amazing service.

Nos asignaron las 2 habitación hasta las 18:00 hrs. Lo anterior fue porque estuve visitando la recepción varias veces, si no hubiera tardado más tiempo, porque me comentaban que me hablarían al teléfono celular cuando ya estuviera disponible. Por otro lado, el servicio de alimentos de pronto tarda mucho en la alberca. Por último, sería bueno saber que están en remodelación algunas zonas y que ya no es camino real, porque al final si se notan las áreas cerradas o disfrazar más dichas áreas cerradas, es decir, más estéticas y no afecten tanto el paisaje.

I just came back from Sumiya Hotel, and while it certainly has some appealing features, my experience left much to be desired. First and foremost, the check-in and check-out processes were frustrating. With only two desks available and a limited number of staff, we faced long waits on both occasions. The hotel offers a concierge service through Whatsapp, which seemed like a great idea, but I was disappointed to find it unresponsive when I needed assistance with arranging a taxi. We sought help from the front desk on three different occasions, requesting taxis at specific times, but each time, we ended up waiting over 30 minutes. This lack of reliable transportation support really hindered our plans. Additionally, our dining experience at one of the hotel restaurants fell short. Service was lacking, and unfortunately, my daughter and niece never received their meals at all, which was quite disappointing. On a positive note, the hotel rooms were quite comfortable. The beds were super soft, and I appreciated the quick room service whenever we needed it. Overall, while Sumiya Hotel has potential with its cozy accommodations and beautiful gardens, significant improvements are needed in service and responsiveness to create a more enjoyable experience for guests.

Buen hotel, renovación aun por concluir, se ve viejo en zonas. Room service pesimo.

El personal de recepción no es de lo más amable, el check-in se retrasó una hora por ser temporada alta pero el trato del personal del lobby dejó mucho que desear. Principalmente un gordito que parecía rebasado por la presión

Todo bien pero el servicio es MUY lento Ni una sola vez fue en un tiempo considerable, siempre se tardan mucho

Lugar es bonito y todos pero el precio del agua está demasiado baja y en el lavabo no salía agua calenté. Para chek in y che k out es demasiado lento

Intentamos pedir servicio al cuarto durante media hora y nadie nos contestó el teléfono ni en recepción, a la llegada tenían un grupo, cuando era camino real al grupo lo entendían pero dejaban una persona para atender a los huéspedes que llegaban aparte, tuvimos que esperar que pasara todo el grupo, la atención y la calidad de los alimentos ha bajado considerablemente

No obstante que llegamos a las 14:50 Hrs. Nos dieron la habitación hasta las 16:17 Hrs.

Se tardaron 4 horas para dar habitación..

Esta muy bonito el hotel, en un lugar muy seguro y sin ruido, pero pudiera mejorar a 5 estrellas mi calificación si retomaran el mantenimiento de algunas zonas donde predomina la madera. El personal sumamente amable y atento en todo momento.

Es una hermosa propiedad con una vegetación extraordinaria con hermosos árboles!

Las calles para llegar al hotel están muy mal ; pero por lo demás, no tengo ninguna objeción. Todo muy bien.

Beautiful property - quiet and lovely tranquil atmosphere. It is located in a private gated community that is very safe - you must pass two security gates. In the city, it felt hot and muggy. But in the hotel the large trees offered so much shade that it felt cool and relaxing.

Un poco lejos pero vale la pena

Es un lugar definitivamente diferente que te transporta a otro continente, con una gran cantidad de opciones culturales y destinos turísticos cerca. Vale mucho la pena.

Muy bonita y grande aunque un poco complicado la llegada a las habitaciones para gente con problemas de movilidad.

Los restaurantes colapsan si el hotel tiene algún evento. Hice una reservación en uno de ellos desde antes de mi llegada y el staff del restaurante no tenía conocimiento de mi reserva. La alberca estaba tibia tendiente a fria. El brunch del domingo muy rico

Comida deliciosa sin duda el mejor brunch que he probado, muy completo, el personal muy amable y el hotel cuida cada detalle para que estés cómodo.

Food prices are extremely high and they don’t share information about it!!!!

The room we booked was not the one given. !! Rip off !! We escalated with the manager and finally he gave us another room . Service really bad and the food and price really high and quality very bad. You can eat better in VIPS or Sanborns

The hotel is surrounded by nature and the Japanese concept makes it interesting. The room was simple, and the building showed some lack of maintenance. Despite the Japanese environment providing a nice experience, the main restaurant only provides that type of food, which is very limited. Can you imagine a 5-night stay eating only one type of food?

The hotel and landscape is great with the japanesse gardens and great lawns. The offer in the restaurant on sundays afternoon (there were open 1 of 3 resraurants) was limited.
