Lynwood house

Excellent guesthouse, centrally located in Cobh, excellent freshly cooked breakfast provided and a very helpful local host. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely wonderful stay at Lynnwood house. And Peter the owner was very friendly and gave is the opportunity to drop off our luggage a little early.

Parking is very limited. Some rooms are on the 3rd floor with no elevator so unsuitable for seniors.

Highly recommend and the owners are very nice and gave us fabulous ideas. Would definitely stay there again.

Bookers beware. We got a call the morning we were to check in that there were ‘plumbing problems’ and that we had been rebooked at a nearby hotel. When we arrived at said new hotel after hours of driving they had no room in our names and we called the owners of Lynwood for over an hour with no answer. Finally, we drove to the property to find the owners at home on property along with additional house guests. They called the rebooked hotel and found a reservation for us - when we returned, we learned that they had made that reservation days ago because they were ‘overbooked’… after hours of wasted time, didn’t appreciate the dishonesty. And there were no available rooms in Cobh, so we were seriously compromised in our travel plans. Ads to that I am traveling with my aging parents - 75 and 77 who had to ensure the long wait and changes in plan.
