It was a decent stay for one night. The private bathroom was a great and it was mostly clean (could have done with slightly more attention to detail). I think it should have been clearer about the fact that live music starts at 10pm on Thursday nights so people can prepare for noise. And for $171 for the night, it did the job, but was a bit too pricey for a loud single room.

Handy location but not great above a noisy pub open all night and that you have to go to bar to check in but it says no children allowed in area. Shower in male bathroom had no hot water.

This hotel is maybe a bit rough as it is placed on top of a bar. However the location is in our opinion top tier as it is located close to Pitt Street and in general the Circular quay. The staff was nice and check in very easy. The room was nice and tidy, had a great AC and a water heater for coffe or tea. We stayed in the rooms with shared bathrooms and toilets and these were a bit beat up. So in general a good stay with good value and a great location - we would definitely recommend especially if you are on a budget.

Messed up my booking/room but was fine. Noisy but literally in the middle of the city. Be warned its shared bathrooms and a few flights of stairs with no elevator. Not easy to carry 21kg luggage up there

Extremely noisy until about 1 am. They provide ear plugs, that's how bad it is. Room is very basic. Bathrooms are OK, mostly clean. Food at the bar was good.

Great location near Central station. I was OK with the street noise, no elevator and shared bathroom down the hall. The bed was comfortable, it was clean and the AC worked good. Also, you can't beat the price!

The pictures and the reality were a bit different, so it threw me off at first. The floor is carpeted, no slippers were issued, the bathroom is kind of weird and a little bit unclean. One of the curtains were broken. Otherwise the location is good, no sound whatsoever, very conveniently situated.

I was on the 2nd floor (the 1st floor is renovated and that is a different story). There were 12 rooms on my floor and ONE female toilet and two showers. Toilet was clogged up on several occations and the drainage in the bath was also off so i was met by a pool after someone showered. The facilities weren't even cleaned every day which I think is a bare minimum when you have shared facilities, especially during high season. They did not once go into my room to throw the garbage, refil coffee or towels. Upon leaving I did what I always do, kneel down and look under the bed - which no one with a vaccum cleaner had done the last decade. The rooms towards the street were also extremely noise, single glass windows.

The shared bathroom needed a clean and the shower head had come off, there was no window in the room and I left an item of clothing there, despite emailing the same day I checked out they failed to respond until I sent a another follow up email a week later (informing me they didn’t have the item in lost property). Rather disappointing.

The bed was comfy and the pillows were lovely. Air con worked, however the room was not very quiet. The bathroom facilities whilst clean were not great. The one toilet in the female bathroom had a faulty flush and the walk in shower tap was missing the actual handle. The hallway was very quiet but the room backed into a very noisy street. Close to everything l needed which was great. 👍

I didn't realized that the bathroom was a share one, you have to walk some distance to it, also the wifi is inconsistent, and for people who come from the America Continent they are going to have trouble charging their phone since the outlet is different.

The room I had was lovely but the windows are paper thin, and look out onto one of the busiest streets in Sydney. Could barely sleep, being woken up by sirens, garbage trucks, V8 engines. Not fun!

Comfortable stay except for the buzzing door from one of the rooms.I guess the systems lock was playing up? An earlier check in would have been nice when requested. The place was empty!! Only myself and one other guy was present. Dinner - I had the crying tiger. It didn’t come with rice?? But otherwise cheap & convenient. Thank you

Best way to describe the accommodation is No Frills. The place was clean with the basics covered. Registering is done at the bar. My room was up a narrow staircase. The staff member kindly carried my bag up, thank goodness.

Wir haben zwei Nächte in der Bar Broadway verbracht und waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Der Check-in lief super ab und wir konnten netterweise schon früher unser Gepäck abstellen und sogar in unser Zimmer. Das Personal der Bar war super zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit und hat uns mit dem früheren Check-in sehr geholfen. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Das Bad, was man mit anderen Gästen geteilt hat, hatte alles, was man brauchte. Die Lage der Unterkunft war wirklich super zentral und ganz nah an der Central Station. Der Check-out lief auch super unkompliziert und schnell mit einer Schlüsselbox ab und uns wurde wieder sehr weitergeholfen, weil wir unser Gepäck auch nach Check-out ein paar Stunden hinter der Bar aufbewahren konnten. Wir waren rundum sehr mit dem Hotel und vor allem dem Personal zufrieden :)

We stay only one night, the room, although a little old fashion, but is comfortable, clean and acceptable. As the place is been renovated, there is no other services. Good things are the explorer bus stop is just outside the hotel and it near the city shops. I do not mind to return to stay here.

Tahlia and her staff do an excellent job keeping this property immaculate. Yes it is located on a very busy street and the rooms have that noise but the property is immaculate and well priced. Bar staff Tahlia, Ellie, Bimmi (pretty Thai lady), Faes and Russ are a lot of fun, friendly, welcoming and they make a mean cocktail or 2. Food at the Thai place was superb to average.... Tum Yum Goong was avg... the beef salad A . Worth a stay....i I was here 4 nights...partied like a 1960s rock star... saw my kids... drank enough to kill a small elephant...yada yada yada. YMMV NB the last 4 Sydney Hotels I've stayed at have been the Four Seasons, Shangrila, Quay West and Intercontinental.. This hotel is maybe a bit rough as it is placed on top of a bar. However the location is in our opinion top tier as it is located close to Pitt Street and in general the Circular quay. The staff was nice and check in very easy. The room was nice and tidy, had a great AC and a water heater for coffe or tea. We stayed in the rooms with shared bathrooms and toilets and these were a bit beat up. So in general a good stay with good value and a great location - we would definitely recommend especially if you are on a budget.

Extremely noisy until about 1 am. They provide ear plugs, that's how bad it is. Room is very basic. Bathrooms are OK, mostly clean. Food at the bar was good.

Embora esteja sobre o bar e uma região movimentada de Sydney, o local é muito agradável de ficar e com tudo por perto, super fácil de se movimentar pela cidade. O que acha que precisa melhorar é o fato das janelas estarem lacradas (o cheiro dos quartos fica forte por falta de circulação de ser) e no banheiro é necessário mais privadas. Também seria legal um ponto com microondas.

Check-in was fast & staff were helpful. My room was in first floor. Everything clean. Plenty of towels and very comfy beds. I stayed on a Tuesday night, but ear plugs provided. Not needed for my stay. Easy walk or walk/tram to Tik Tok Arena. Really good value for a last minute concert trip to Sydney.
