Highly recommend staying at The Madison! It exceeded my expectations. I was a little concerned about the parking situation before we got there, but it was not a problem at all. If you aren’t able to park in the little back lot, there is plenty of safe, well-lit street parking available. Having a complementary glass of wine on the patio during their social hour was an amazing surprise, as the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful.

We stayed for one night, came to town for a concert and the staff was amazing, and check in and check out was a breeze and everything was done through text messages. Only thing to “complain”, was that parking is very limited, so we had to park in the street, but other than that, it was a great stay! Oh and they gave us free wine and beer in the evening, right before our concert, so that was amazing!

What a beautiful place! The main hallway was decorated so nicely with so many vintage and heirloom-looking photos and paintings. The lobbies were super cute and comfortable. The rooms were small but comfortable and had all the mod cons. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I did appreciate the keyless entry to the building and the room. The parking lot is teeny-tiny and the driveway very narrow. Still a regular sized sedan or smaller SUV would be fine. There is a school (elementary, I think) right across the street so if you visit during the school year, it’s something to consider when street parking and driving there.

So this is a very chill, relaxed and serene place. Not really able to compare it to anywhere we've ever stayed before. First off - it's clean. Lots of dark wood and reserved lighting. They are dialed-in regarding tech, so you can take care of most/all of your dealings (check-in/out) w/ your phone. Front office staff was polite/courteous/helpful. Rooms are not huge. Bathrooms either. But we were traveling rather light, so not a problem. Both were very clean. We didn't hear sounds from any other rooms. Important note: Parking is . . . unique. You have to navigate down a VERY narrow driveway to get to the main lot in the back of the facility. Big car? Wouldn't recommend it. You'll be on the street, I suppose. Just minutes (15) from downtown. While the neighborhood isn't totally sketch . . . . we really weren't quite sure about it. This hotel just seems a bit out of place there. The view from our second floor room was of someone's trashed backyard. Not a big issue - just close the blinds. Don't get mad at your mapping app when you get closer as the road in front is 1/4 one-way and 3/4 two-way (It's a school zone thing, apparently). Beds are comfy. A very nice place.

I pleasantly surprise at this Gem in Dallas. It was awesome. The staff was so helpful and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Water pressure was wonderful . They have coffee/Tea in the rooms, water cooler, ice machine and microwave on the first floor . The hotel has charm and personality. I highly recommend a stay.

Omg the property (INSIDE) was extremely gorgeous, love it. The outside however…this property is sandwiched between residential homes and across the street from a school. The view from my room was…laughable honestly. I open the curtains & to my surprise it’s someone’s home with beat up broken down cars in the yard and CHICKENSSS roaming free lol.

It was a simple boutique hotel in an industrial neighborhood. As a frequent traveler, I didn’t find it that special. Bed was overall comfy, but limited amenities, shower dial was upside down, no front desk for late check-in needs, and it’s actually outside of the main bishop arts strip area (5 mins drive). FYI for light sleepers: walls are extremely thin so bring quality duty ear plugs (they don’t tell you they have them in the front desk area but luckily I brought my own). I checked in late and TV kept turning on because the neighboring room apparently had the same remote so I had to eventually unplug the TV. With thin walls and to upkeep with the era of their building, they really shouldn’t have TVs.

The room is very, very small and we got the largest one they had. Zero view because there is a fence in front of the window. No safe or water in the room. The room decor is nice, and everything was clean—including a cute and tidy bathroom. However, the walls are quite thin, so it gets noisy, especially after 8 a.m., which makes it hard to sleep in. Parking is limited, and the bed was way too soft for my liking. The pillows also weren't very comfortable.

The place was very cute, newly refurbished. However the rooms were very small, we booked a standard queen room, and the bed was 100% not a queen sized bed, it was a full. It was also uncomfortable. Bathroom is the size of a closet, very small.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 3-night stay at The Madison, a beautiful boutique hotel located in the Bishop Arts neighborhood of Dallas. Although the room was small, it had all the comforts and amenities I needed during my stay. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable. I loved all the little touches of the hotel and room; it's almost like stepping back in time as soon as you enter or feeling you're on the set of a movie. Soap and other items were complimentary and the staff was really friendly. I really appreciated the free parking as well. The only critique I have is that the view from my window (the westside) was not much to look at - a large dilapidated backyard with a rubbish pile belonging to a private home. The large trees were nice however. I found it charming that the backyard on the property on the eastside of the hotel had chickens. It was nice to b awoken by a crowing rooster! Despite these quibbles, I would definitely stay here again!

Got to the hotel. Code to open the door from the parking lot to the hotel did not work. Cold outside. Called the hotel. No answer. Had to walk around to the front of the hotel. Nobody at front desk. Hotel is interesting. Beds are comfortable. But the service is lacking. And sound from other rooms easily heard.

It's a cute small hotel, but it's out of the way in Dallas unless you want to stay specifically in the Bishop Arts district. The decor is great and very stylish, (this part is good). Unfortunately, the service is pretty poor or non-existent. Uber dropped my at an apartment building way down the street and left me out in the heat. Too far to walk. Cell phone was almost dead, and I had three bags. Tried to call the hotel to verify the exact locale: Absolutely no answer. When I finally go to the right hotel, the check in was pretty poor. A millennial attitude woman, doesn't offer water or a single thing, when I asked if she had some, it was "down the all with dixie cups" she was very concerned about collecting the $100 deposit, and kept tapping away on her dumb device, which kept failing (eyes down gazed) but offered no amenities or pleasantries whats so ever, other than to say. "Oh we are a boutique hotel" They just don't get it. I would have rather stayed at more of a traditional place like the Warwick Melrose in Oaklawn. I had two reservations before hand, and this place had charged my card through two nights in advance without warning, and was $200 bucks cheaper so I thought, well I'd give it try. Next time I'll choose another place. Also turn down, service happened 1x in a 3 night stay. If you want an air b and b with cute decor then this place is for you!

Cell phone was almost dead, and I had three bags. Tried to call the hotel to verify the exact locale: Absolutely no answer. When I finally go to the right hotel, the check in was pretty poor. A millennial attitude woman, doesn't offer water or a single thing, when I asked if she had some, it was "down the all with dixie cups" she was very concerned about collecting the $100 deposit, and kept tapping away on her dumb device, which kept failing (eyes down gazed) but offered no amenities or pleasantries whats so ever, other than to say. "Oh we are a boutique hotel" They just don't get it. I would have rather stayed at more of a traditional place like the Warwick Melrose in Oaklawn. I had two reservations before hand, and this place had charged my card through two nights in advance without warning, and was $200 bucks cheaper so I thought, well I'd give it try. Next time I'll choose another place. Also turn down, service happened 1x in a 3 night stay. If you want an air b and b with cute decor then this place is for you!

The room is very, very small and we got the largest one they had. Zero view because there is a fence in front of the window. No safe or water in the room. There is a public water jug and microwave in the hall. However, it is well decorated, clean and close to the bishops art district. Need to have transportation, though, because the area is not safe. Also, stay in an upstairs room because you can hear everything if you are in a first floor room.

(although the property owner next door needs to clean up their property for a more pleasing aesthetic). I thoroughly enjoyed my 3-night stay at The Madison, a beautiful boutique hotel located in the Bishop Arts neighborhood of Dallas. Although the room was small, it had all the comforts and amenities I needed during my stay. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable. I loved all the little touches of the hotel and room; it's almost like stepping back in time as soon as you enter or feeling you're on the set of a movie. Soap and other items were complimentary and the staff was really friendly. I really appreciated the free parking as well. The only critique I have is that the view from my window (the westside) was not much to look at - a large dilapidated backyard with a rubbish pile belonging to a private home. The large trees were nice however. I found it charming that the backyard on the property on the eastside of the hotel had chickens. It was nice to b awoken by a crowing rooster! Despite these quibbles, I would definitely stay here again!

Highly recommend staying at The Madison! It exceeded my expectations. I was a little concerned about the parking situation before we got there, but it was not a problem at all. If you aren’t able to park in the little back lot, there is plenty of safe, well-lit street parking available. Having a complementary glass of wine on the patio during their social hour was an amazing surprise, as the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful.

Omg the property (INSIDE) was extremely gorgeous, love it. The outside however…this property is sandwiched between residential homes and across the street from a school. The view from my room was…laughable honestly. I open the curtains & to my surprise it’s someone’s home with beat up broken down cars in the yard and CHICKENSSS roaming free lol.

We stayed for one night, came to town for a concert and the staff was amazing, and check in and check out was a breeze and everything was done through text messages. Only thing to “complain”, was that parking is very limited, so we had to park in the street, but other than that, it was a great stay! Oh and they gave us free wine and beer in the evening, right before our concert, so that was amazing!

This hotel is perfect for those who want to avoid the traffic and congestion of other areas such as downtown. It’s nestled in a quiet and nice neighborhood and you’re a short drive away from the Bishop Arts District which has so many places to stay busy with. Our room’s bathroom door wouldn’t shut closed, so that wasn’t the greatest and for some reason the hallway felt colder than the actual bedroom. Maybe if they installed ceiling fans or desk fans it would help with the circulation of the air because it was very stale inside the actual rooms. Make sure to take advantage of their social hour from 6-8 pm! I will be back, just hoping next time to have a cooler room and a bathroom door that actually closes and locks.

Our stay at the Madison hotel was very nice. It was in a convenient location and a nice neighborhood. The staff was very friendly and the decor was very cute. Daily social hour was a nice touch.
