Everything was great except the jacuzzi had a layer of dirt on the bottom that kicked up if you turned it on and turned it all brown

Very sweet and accomadating staff . Pool and hot tub were great. Hot tub was hot and pool was cool even on a 103 drgree phoenix day. Nice room . Enjoyed our stay

Our room was facing the busy road. Road traffic was very noisy and annoying. After arriving, we asked for an extra blanket and they told us that the housekeeping staff wasn’t working and that they didn’t have any blankets available. Pool looked like it hadn’t been cleaned recently. Plastic bottle on bottom of the pool.

My go to hotel in phoenix . Affordable and clean, pool and hot tub is a good touch too.

The jacuzzi was closed.

Old, outdated. Shower curtain stayed open both ends. No new towels, washcloths in 5 days. Swimming pool same exact temp as hot tub. No elevator. Not worth $200/night!

Room was clean and adequate. However, parking lot was being re-paved when we arrived, ON A SATURDAY, and there was no parking. We had to park next door. Quite a trek carrying bags to room for these senior citizens. Why would anyone pick a Saturday to do this? Since hotel not in a business area, should have done mid week when fewer guests. Also, breakfast buffet was completely out of cereal and hour before it ended. Probably won't be back.

No elevator for 2nd floor.

Parking lot was blocked off. No close to the room parking and blocked access to the facility. No towels for pool or extra towels for rooms, no wash cloths in room. Street access very limited.

My room was clean and had all the amenities I needed. It was a very hot day in Phoenix and the airconditing was fantastic. My suite had a microwave, refrigerator, iron & ironing board, and hair dryer. It was quiet and perfect for my needs. The check-in was quick and Danny (front desk) was friendly and helpful.

Air conditioning wires were showing and if moved turned the conditioner off. The pool looked like pond water at the zoo. The bathtub was full of other peoples hair. The breakfast was edible, like warm and straight out of a box or freezer. Pictures are false advertising to what the property actually looks like.

The location was good. We checked in last, so we didn’t have much interaction with staff. The room was gross! Carpet crusty in some spots, both chairs in the room was dirty and falling apart. The lamp was dusty and dirty, the bathroom wood counters was banged up, there was something really gross on the wall in the bathroom by the mirror. The toilet area had black hairs on the floor and the bathtub was cracked up. Faucets were hard to turn on. The corners of the floor in the bathroom were dirty. The wall was falling apart behind the door. The sheets, blankets, and pillows were clean. We slept and left. Would not stay here again.

Nice clean rooms. Easy check in. Clean. Good strong showers. Phone didnt work, When I went to office, they said they were working on it.

Overall cleanliness was good, though when I checked in I found a visible spill on one of the nightstands that had not been cleaned up (I cleaned it up). The biggest problem was in the second night, my sleep was interrupted at 3 a.m. by the smoke alarm chirping (indicating a low battery), and I wasn't able to get back to sleep for a couple of hours. Fortunately I didn't have to be anywhere that morning, so I was able to sleep some more and checked out later than I had originally planned. Other than these problems, my stay was o.k., and I will probably stay there again next time I'm in north central Phoenix. The neighborhood is nice, convenient to where I needed to be, and I haven't had any problems during previous stays there.

This is a motel not hotel. I waited forever for someone to check me in. Upon entering my room I found crumbs on the floor, a dirty towel, beds were not neatly made, and a light cover missing in the bathroom. Second room I tried also did not have a neatly made bed, a TON of caulk surrounding the bathtub, and a bathmat in the bathtub that was all black. There was a homeless man crawling into the dumpster on the property grounds (I’d post a picture if I could). I will say the staff was pleasant about canceling my reservations and refunding me. Overall, this motel is not safe or clean.

We have stayed at this hotel before, and found it to be a good value. We were rather disappointed this time. There was no coffee available over the weekend, and the complimentary breakfast was paltry - they ran out of everything before 8am, and didn't replenish it. The pool was decent, although the towels provided were kind of a joke. The entire facility could use some TLC. I'll think twice before I stay here again.

Good convenient location, but that's where the good ends. Buildings not in great condition, outside were piles of towels and equipment, just all over, not welcoming around the grounds when we see that going up and down the stairs. Very noisy, and uncomfortable bed.

The front desk people were very nice. The breakfast was very good. The room was clean and everything worked well. It wasn’t very close to freeways. There were no walkable dining options. My biggest issue was that the pool was pretty green. On the second day it was shocked but it still wasn’t swimmable.

Room was very nice, though when I walked in for the first time the temp was set to 50. Yes, FIFTY! That was unpleasant. Second problem was that the internet speed was in the range of <100kbps. That's KILOBYTES. Not even 1/2 a megabyte. Called to ask about it and was told that they had to ask the manager if they could restart the router. Then the next day was told that the manager was "talking to the internet company about getting a little more speed." Never got that "little more." Apparently I'm the only person who stayed there who wanted more than dial-up speed. On the plus side, the price was good, the room was very spacious and comfortable, and the exercise room, to my surprise, was reasonably well acquitted.

Just an average dated hotel with a very noisy in room air conditioner.

The hotel is a bit tired looking. Our room layout was awkward making anything other than sleeping uncomfortable.

No Wi-Fi in rooms. Disappointed not to be able to do some work while away.

Hot breakfast buffet breakfast which was fine, enough variety that no one should go hungry. Rooms are small but comfortable. You can hear all the passer by conversations easily and if the neighbor lets the door slam your windows rattle. Generally a fine facility but perhaps a little pricey for quality. Easy drive to airport.

Hotel room was pretty basic, not anything fancy. Lots of parking. Surrounding area is okay. Breakfast was pretty bad with almost no options available. Pool area is okay.

This is an mediocre property in a great area of Phoenix. Close to the Mountain Preserve with tons of good hiking as well as the Biltmore area for great food and shopping. The place is more of a Motel.... We had a pool-facing room and I would advise against it. Probably better to be on the back side of the building. Staff were helpful but not friendly. Room had a humid feeling and while fairly clean you could still smell old cigarette. For budget conscious travelers, it does the job. Just don't expect anything more than a Motel 6 as far as amenities and service.

Lobby door lockedwhen I arrived. Person was looking at me as I tried to open door abd did not even inquire who I was until I tried two different doors three times. We arrived at 6:35pm and was told after doors were lookeed at 6pm. She was very unfriendly and then I requested first floor because no elevator and even offered to change room type and she refused. So a 80 & 77 yr old dragged luggage to second floor b

Was able to check in a little early with no problems. Staff was quick and friendly.

The hotel is conveniently located for our visit and the room was clean & comfortable. I rated poorly on staff & service because our check-in process was enitely unprofessional.

Not too happy with my stay. Check in was rushed as the front desk help was on a personal call and quickly checked us in without any questions or answers other than to say there was no WiFi. Very inconvenient to not have that available in rooms and yet be part of our cost. Also only programed our room keys for one night and we had to get it reactivated again for the rest of our stay. Just do it right the first time. And with 2 adults we need 2 keys why give us attitude when we asked for another key? The room was ok. Why were there dirty shoe marks in the bathtub? At least the room floors didn’t have too much dirt as my socks weren’t too dirty after walking around in the room. For the cost, I’m disappointed though. I hated going back to the hotel. It wasn’t cleaned the first day we were there, probably because we were only checked in for first night, not sure. Never had nice warm water for the morning shower. At least the air conditioning unit worked and the pillows were nice. And why weren’t there any napkins available during breakfast? Anyway, wouldn’t recommend this place.

They do a great job here. Staff is super accommodating.

All staff was great from front desk, to breakfast prep-persons and room cleaning crews. Cleanliness in the form of outside area and parking lot could use attention. We stayed 5 nights and the outside trash near the pool was over flowing all 5 days(I even pushed it down twice) and garbage laying around lot(coffee cup, banana peels). First impressions matter and as good as the staff was, sometimes going the extra mile and taking a general look around and if you see something out of place, take care of it. I must also say, how professional the staff was when a situation arose with a tenants fighting-staff escorted off site.

Great stay. Loved the hotel and room location. Quiet. Great breakfast. Attentive and responsive staff.

The room was not serviced regularly, and we had to have our cards re-keyed almost every night, whic was an inconvenience when returning later in the evening. Evening desk attendant was unenthusiastic and I felt as if I was inconveniencing him askonf for help.

We arrived early early morning from our flight and were given a room with 2 beds which we booked. Upon keying into the first room it was occupied and thankfully they had the latch secured. I’m glad they didn’t do anything rash. Very scary and embarrassing. Went back to check in and the young lady was having difficulties with switching our reservation to a different type and now there weren’t any 2 bed rooms left and we had 3 people and an infant. We were offered a king with sleepable couch which at this point we said yes because it was 1:30AM. Got in the room and it was a queen and there was urine dried on the toilet rim along with black hair in the tub. Pulled the bedding back and more black hair. The phone in the room didn’t work so I had to call with my cell phone. We were extremely understanding due to the infant just needing to get to sleep. We were given a third room king with couch. At least this room appeared to be clean. I went to the lobby later that morning to see what they were willing to do for us. All they came up with was a $50 reduction on the room after all that. During the entire scenario managers were called at least 5 times and no one would answer the call to help the reservation agent. Very disappointed in how they handled this!

I cannot let go the opportunity to thank Felix, who works at the front desk, and was super helpful, nice and supportive. I had no idea how to use the measure app to see if my luggage fit the airline standards. I asked Felix for his help, and he was super friendly and nice and solved my problem! Thank you Felix !

It is located near the airport.

Nice area, close to highway, near Phoenix. Good breakfast and good service.

Conveniently located to the major roads around Phoenix.

Good overnight stay with comfortable bed and clean room. Sometimes that is a challenge with even high-end hotels. Good value and nice central location with short driving distance to Scottsdale and more.

This hotel was conveniently located, clean, and in good shape for an older property. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Quiet and safe neighborhood, no major restaurants in walkable distance.

This hotel is easy to get to and we were showing horses at Westworld so only about 20 mins away. They have a great free breakfast as well. Close to main roads so sometimes noisy at night. Overall a good place to stay.

Bed was fine, not great. Room was clean. No hand soap? There was body wash and shampoo conditioner in the shower but not bar of soap to wash your hands after the restroom. Good thing we had hand sanitizer. Breakfast was inedible, really poor quality. Overall fine for a quick overnight stay but don’t expect much.

disappointing for a best western. Worst breakfast ever. waffle iron out of order. juice machine out of order. Came to breakfast one day an hour before closing, no bacon no eggs, they said five minutes the bacon they put out was almost raw. Staff was not friendly. I checked in and asked for a quiet room not on the busy street, and she replied you only asked for a room on the 1st floor, and then gave me a room on the busy street. The hotel was not even busy during our stay. I will not be back to this best western.

It was clean. Breakfast could be better. Juice machine was broken and was not fixed for our duration of stay.

Stay was good. The breakfast was not so good. It is disorganized. The set up is just wrong. There is only one toaster that doest work very well and is not enough to serve all the guests.

Maybe I caught them on a bad week. The reviews you're seeing about no wi-fi in the rooms are accurate as of 9/5/24, and cell reception there is poor, so even turning your phone into a hotspot may not work. One of the hotel staff assured me that problem is going to be resolved within a week. The other thing that I frankly have never seen anywhere was that the breakfast setup -- which was actually well above average on my first morning -- had NO coffee or juice to drink (other than cranberry juice) for two consecutive days. The only choices were cranberry juice (does ANYONE like cranberry juice?) or water. Disappointing. Finding anyone at the front desk was a hit or miss proposition. And the reason I know that is because I had to go back to the desk THREE times in four days to get my room key reset. I'm very careful not to store the key/card near my cell phone, so the failure was not mine. I will look elsewhere next time. Which is too bad, because it's a superb location -- easy in, easy out, close to major highways, the neighborhood seemed OK, VERY comfortable bed and pillows, and the property was quiet at night. Generally speaking, I've had decent stays at Best Westerns (I work for a non-profit and am always seeking moderately priced locations); perhaps I just caught this particular one on a bad week. But if you need wi-fi in your room, MAKE SURE TO CALL AHEAD and see if they have resolved that problem.
