We always stay here when visiting the Mayo Clinics in both Scottsdale & Phx. The breakfast is always hot & fresh, Holly does a great job every morning! Front desk, always accommodating and available. Pool & hot tub are a nice option. Sister property right behind has a great bar/bartender & TVs to watch a game. Only draw is $11 a nite for parking, but I guess that's just the way of the hotel world now. Someone else has to make money too.

The pool was excellent, especially in the 112 degree temps while we were there. Good range of depth of water for easy use. An added 18” to 24” area for toddlers would have been beneficial. Different seating areas comfortable option.

Great little pool, weird having to pay for parking as not much around. But good having Black Bear dining nearby, good food. Also you can visit either pool and there is a bar & restaurant at sister hotel next door.

It was off to a rocky start, we were put in a room with bad ac, woke up from a nap and it was 82* in our room. Front desk and maintenance switched our rooms immediately and it was a great stay after that. New room had adequate AC for the heatwave in Arizona in August. Clean room, nice housekeepers, most of the front desk was very accommodating. Clean pool and hot tub. Breakfast was ok. Would’ve been better if they had options individually packaged, so it’s not a communal dining experience for germaphobes like me. I would stay again.

I the hotel is great and the breakfast was great. I had one problem it was that as a guest I had to pay for parking, and that was not in the amount for the room and it should be, that is not enough for me to mark it down on my score but a disappointment on not letting me know until after I got the room.

Very helpful friendly staff. Room was clean with the exception of questionable stains on the bottom of one curtain panel, which the staff was ready to remedy by offering me another room. Quiet relaxed atmosphere. I would book this hotel again.

The hotel room was deceiving from the photos on Expedia & a disappointment. It was clearly outdated, with worn-out furniture and a musty smell that hit me as soon as I walked in. The cleanliness was subpar, stains on the carpet & walls and the bathroom had areas peeling off. The bed linens felt old and dingy, making it hard to relax. Overall, the room felt neglected and far below acceptable standards. I would not stay here again. Save your money or pay a lil extra for something bettter.

Found a roach in bathroom, not at check in but the next day . The only can do is “change room” I told her I’m not changing rooms I need some deep cleaning because the the bathroom walls you can see the mold inside tub. Carpet in room was old and dirty too.

The walls were paper thin and the people around in the other rooms kept me up. I also had a huge cockroach in the bathroom the morning I left. I will not be returning. Thank you.

Our room 419 was clean and nice, but it needs better lighting. The lights are too dim. And the maid woke us up by knocking on our door at 8:15 am! Cynthia at the breakfast buffet was a very hard worker. She kept everything stocked, cleaned and was friendly. There was a boys’ soccer team there and they were messy but she cleaned up after them immediately. The rest of the staff were very nice also.

Overall, my stay was smooth and the location was convenient. Location was excellent too. I had the mountain view room….which included looking at Scottsdale Road, the hotel’s parking lot and 2 restaurants. The only drawback was an unidentifiable odor in the room that gave off a strong, masculine presence…similar to body odor. While it wasn’t overwhelming, it was noticeable upon entry and slightly unpleasant. The showerhead also had a a constant drip leak, but otherwise, the space served its purpose well.

Had to wait for service on a couple occasions. Parking is paid??!! Why this is not a downtown hotel—it’s basically in a strip mall. Accommodations are ok but not really comfortable. Couch was weird. Desk/chair not very comfortable. Outlets especially by bed are not convenient. I would probably not stay here again.

We liked the room it was spacious....our refridgerator was in need of a tune up or replacement. The air smelled like chlorine in the hall but we didnt mind. Brrakfast was good and the staff was very friendly. We will stay again.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. There were a number of issues but most were resolved when brought up with the staff. For example, the tvs in our room weren’t hooked up and our shower head was leaking. There were no pool towels anytime we went to swim. All of this was remedied upon request. Our curtain rod was broken so the curtains wouldn’t shut all the way, this let in the street lights at night and bright Sun early in the morning. We were “upgraded” from a King bed suite to two queen beds. This made for some rough nights as our sick kiddo was sleeping in bed with us. Paying to park felt unnecessary as it was not a dense city location. Breakfast was pretty good and had a nice selection of options. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There were a number of restaurants to walk to and it felt safe to do so at night.

I think the front desk operations for check in, check out, and attention to any issues was much better than usual. They know what they are doing and are good at doing it. The maintenance staff was excellent as well. And the young lady that prepared the breakfast for us was very nice and accommodating.

We booked a king bed and received a room with two queens. Told they were not able to accommodate the original terms of our reservation. Great location if you're in need for quiet. Very clean room and spacious. Was glad there was a ceiling fan since it helped balance the air with ac...really makes a difference. Bathroom is a big deal to me...it's spacious and I like the walk in shower. Breakfast was fresh and ample. Service was accommodating to needs. Restaurants and shopping are far enough and not too close to hotel. It means you don't hear traffic and all sorts of congestion. I would definitely go back to this location as a peaceful hideaway. My only request is a stationary bike in their fitness room.

We loved our accommodations, the only downside were the pillows...they were too soft, but that is a matter of preference I suppose. Otherwise, check in was quick and easy, very friendly staff. Beakfast had a good selection of eggs (2 different cooking styles), sausage, bagels, english muffins, cereals and juices & coffee/tea. We would stay here again.

We were there for four days and the room was not cleaned once. When I asked for towels , the desk clerk was nasty. They ran out of milk coffee and cereal as well as bowls and utensils.at breakfast and the area was a mess. Worst hotel I ever stayed in.
