The staff was attentive, helpful and friendly! The onsite restaurant was reasonable and the food and service was great. Those two things along with the fair price I might go there again despite the couple of disappointments. The location was very convenient for a place outside the main district. The property wasn't exactly as pictured. Chose this property over another due to the water view, and the hot tub and was disappointed with both. The hot tub wasn't very hot and the jets didn't really work at any time during my stay.

Would not stay here again. The hotel smelled like mildew and mold. There were cracks in the walls/outlets with residue of mold buildup. The fresh air outside smelled better than inside the hotel. The pictures were very altered/brighter; when in reality the rooms were very dark with lack of lighting. There were parking charges - not listed on hotels.com and had to pay upon arrival; which felt like this was dishonest of the hotel to charge extra fee for this.

We stayed in the suite. It was very roomy for all 5 adults. It would be nice to have at least a large curtain the close at the vanity and the rest of the room so early birds could turn in the lights to get ready for the day. Our room was very clean. The staff was kind and courteous. I could not find any coffee or tea but no worries there is a Mc Donald’s and a few coffee shops not far. I was fine with the walk into town about 1/2 mile on sidewalk. There is a pedestrian crossing to make it easier and a shuttle stop outside with a bench. The pool was nice and great area for relaxing. No elevators so need a bottom room if cannot do stairs. Do bring your own pillows, the pillows were super soft and small. The whirlpool could use some cleaning on the bottom the pool was clear and clean. I don’t think they had a breakfast if they did we never made it over there to check it out. Overall a good stay.

NEVER EXPERIANCE BOOKING A HOTEL ONLINE AND UPON ARRIVAL WAS TOLD THAT THERE WAS A FEE ATTACHED CLAIMING RESORT FEE IF IT WASN'T THAT IT WAS LATE IN THE AFTERNOON WITH OUR PET WE WOULD HAVE ASK FOR MONEY BACK CHECK OUT AND FIND ANOTHER HOTEL !!! The pool area & patio on the marsh are great. We enjoyed the train, but we were happy that our room was roadside. The room was large. We didn’t like the 1 serving coffee machine and the coffee in the room. Service was great. The room was very clean. The on site restaurant was great. We walked to the Old City and The Fort several times.

The price in the site isn’t the same, once you get to the counter they charge an extra $45 that’s not listed on the site which allows access to the pool and wifi and you can’t decline the payment. It’s not listed on the site to make the room look cheaper. I felt safe there and it was manageable for the 2 nights I stayed but I would never go back now that I know the true price and could get something better with more accommodations. The piping is also loud at night even if you don’t use the bathroom and lots of rust on the metals in certain areas. I’d rate it a 2.8 out of 5

Would give a good rating but the beds were basically wet with humidity or some kind of moisture. It was late and we had our kids so just needed to crash and not say anything. Would not have been a huge deal but they also would not extend our check out. Which is I guess understandable (even though I do not know a time I have been denied a "late" check out in 30 years) but the front desk was rather rude about it and did not even ask me how my stay was upon check out. There are plenty options out there with dry beds and friendly staff in St. Augustine. Stay elsewhere.

Checked in with my husband and 2 year old and husband immediately realized floor was super slippery in room, like someone had spilled an oil? Had to set towels on floor for my toddler not to fall. Tried to call for service yet phone and alarm clock sitting on nightstand for decoration apparently and not functioning. We had to run out for dinner and tours and by the time we got back noticed room was so humid everything was wet. Bed and our bags seem to be wet. Had to pack our thing and head out in the middle of the night since there was no way our toddler could sleep there. Tried to contact manager and hotels.com for at least a partial refund but of course both parties are now blaming each other and giving me the run around. Do not recommend staying here at all!

Stayed at this property for my daughter's 21st birthday...everything was clean...rooms were nice...only problem was my daughter and her friends room had no dehumidifier and the room was very damp...floors wet and bedding damp...staff came in dried up room but no dehumidifier was put in room and next morning all was wet again.

The room was filthy. So much so, we only stayed one night of our two night stay. It was so damp in the room the tile floor was wet and slippery. So we had to used towels to dry it. Included is a picture of the towels we used showing how dirty the tile floor was.

Room was not clean when we arrived, floor was filthy and facility is old and run down, we called front desk in the morning to express our discontent and just asked that the room be cleaned and floor mopped because of intense amount of dirt on the floor. We left for the day and returned late afternoon to find nothing done. We then discovered ants in the room. Overall, it was a huge disappointment and would never return.

The room was okay. Staff wise nice. It was definitely older outside and the inside was alright. Bed was bad. The train was so load and came often. The people above us were stomping all night. The room smelled like a scent over cigarettes. Could have been worse but definitely could have been better. Most likely will not stay again.

This hotel was ok. It was old and not updated. Bathroom was tiny, if my husband had been there he would not have been able to close the door to use the restroom. There are no elevators so our friend recovering from a broken knee had to use stairs. Beds were quite comfy but pillows were the lumpiest I’ve ever seen. Restaurant is only open for breakfast on the weekends. How many people are really at the hotel to eat lunch. The food was delicious when we finally got to eat there. There were some local regulars eating there so that is a good sign. Lobby had a nice new coffee maker that the staff are not sure how to use and it didn’t work half the time. It is NOT within a reasonable walking distance to anything. Restaurants are on the other side of a very busy road. Downtown is way too far and across several busy roads. I would not stay there again.

Never realized a train would run right past the room. At 10pm. At 3am. At 5am. Not a restful night at all. Had I known I would have not gotten a back room. Something that disruptive should be disclosed before making reservations. It’s a shame bc it was a nice facility but the train was just ridiculously disruptive.

So very convenient to the trolley. Room was clean and cold. Staff were very nice. There were plenty of outlets. Shower had very little water pressure. TV picture was fuzzy. Ice machine was broken.

Excellent experience. Welcomed by an excellent host Joel. He made sure our accommodations were perfect. The Colombian Restaurant on the premises was delicious. The location of the Hotel is right next to visitors center which was very convenient. The pool is very nice and clean.The perfect place to stay in Saint Augustine.

Joel and Peter were great! Check-in was quick & easy. They also checked on us through text message during our stay to make sure we were comfortable & had everything that we needed. The hotel room was very spacious, larger than expected and everything was clean. The bathroom was nice with a walk-in shower. We also liked that the sink was outside of the bathroom w/ a large vanity. We will stay again

This property is right off the train tracks and super dated. We booked this hotel because it was pet friendly but the room was definitely not located well for a pet. It was right off the lobby with a window facing the hallway and lobby door so everyone walking by could see into your room. We asked to change rooms and were told they were sold out, yet when we went to the website we could book a room if we wanted to. We decided to pack our things and leave. Still fighting for a refund but no manager is there until Tuesday to approve.

The property is quite old with little to no updates. It sits between a very busy and dangerous highway with a train track in the rear, yes the train goes by in the wee hours of the morning and wakes you. However its proximity to the local attractions is excellent. There are several fast food & breakfast restaurants across the street but you have to be really careful crossing the street, vey careful.

Large clean rooms, well stocked with toiletries fridge and ice maker. Hotel is directly beside a train track. Although close in proximity to all historic attractions, it is a considerable distance to walk to a safe street crossing where there are traffic lights. We waited for a break in the traffic but it is a very busy street. The pool area was very nice and had comfortable seating. Once you get across the street all the historic attractions are walkable. And the hop on hop off trolley is directly beside the hotel so no need to cross the street to buy tickets and take the tour.

Right on the highway, so it's dangerous to get in and out of the parking lot. Worst is that the hotel is right next to a rail track, so every two or three hours, there is a big cargo train passing by and it wakes you up.

Staff really friendly, let us check in a few minutes early, which was nice after a road trip. Surrounding area was ok, train right outside our door every few hours. Almost impossible to cross the highway (Rt 1) on foot due to constant speeding traffic.

The hotel is easy to fine. I was allowed to check-in an hour and a half early, without any fees. They are pet friendly with a fee. The room was small. The bathroom was small and dated. The back rooms are right by the railroad tracks, so you better like train noise or get acclimated to trains coming by on average of 4 times through the night. The restaurant inside did not serve breakfast except on Saturday and Sunday and closed at 8 pm.

The hotel was nice room was clean. Right in the middle of everything so you can walk and close to trolly if you choose to do the trolly tour. The restuarant in the hotel has delicious food. Would recommend eating there .

There was a little store which had snack items and quick eats and drink items. It was quite affordable and convenient. There was no hot breakfast but the espresso was good. I did not have an opportunity to take of the evening meal options. There appeared to be a full bar also. The bed was clean and comfortable. I was surprised by a $15 per night fee for using Hotels.com.
