Only thing I would be prepared for was an extra $150 charge for incidentals just in case. ( suppose to refund if not used. ) And a $54 resort fee plus $48 each night for parking. So whatever the cost of your room add another $300 to that.

Mandatory valet parking was a huge negative. Very expensive. Parked in a garage nearby instead. Pretty nice place though. Good bar and good location if you want to be in the historic district. Great staff.

This is in the heart of City Market and you could get anywhere in downtown Savannah within a few minutes walk. Valet parking is required at $48, but again worth it so you that you aren’t circling trying to park somewhere close.

was a fun part of a fun trip to savannah room was very nice. paying for parking when you spend so much to stay at the hotel is irritating and makes me feel like im being nickeled and dimed. same with the resort fee. give me the price of the true price of the room up front and dont nickel and dime us to death with extra made up fees.

The valet parking was excellent, we were greeted with smiles and great energy. I feel the same with check-in and checkout. The hotel was clean, beautiful, and felt safe. We were given tokens for complementary drinks (one token for one drink) to use in the restaurant or bar area of the hotel. However, Our waiter explained to us that the tokens were for the beer and wine options, no cocktail options. Which I thought was very misleading and unfair considering we chose to have dinner in the restaurant to use the tokens. So, we decided to pay for cocktails and then use the tokens for maybe a wine after dinner. But when the waiter came back to get our plates, he took the tokens and said we could not use them anymore. Which I thought was very unfair considering the price of this hotel. I stay in many hotels in Savannah often, not sure if I’ll be going back to this one.

The hotel is musty and there was literally moisture on the floor throughout the room. I shuffled around the room on the hand towel. They said all the rooms are like this. I hope they fix it bc the lobby and location are nice.

The floor was dirty! The shower was dirty! I had to wipe something off the floor and my wet wipe was black. That was when we first arrived. And the shower had mildew and other people’s hair. That’s gross.

Mold all over bedroom ceiling (have video). Didn’t notice as I dropped bags, left for the day, came back and went to bed. Was horrified when I woke up. Spoke to employee, who moved me to a room that had an unworking TV. No apology. Mold is dangerous and I have an autoimmune disease. Had to ask for some compensation and hotel nickeled and dimed me. Check your ceiling if in room 206!

The hotel was clean and in a great location. Our room had some issues. The sink didn’t drain well, the bathroom door closed halfway and then got hung on the floor. Mold spots over the shower and behind the door. Room 307 off back elevator.

This was our second stay at this hotel. The location is great, the staff is wonderful, and the treat of a free cocktail was very much appreciated. But our refrigerator didn't work, no ice machines worked so I had to go down to the lobby for ice. The A/C was so loud, and everything outside was so loud. The curtain fell off into my hands when I opened it. Not great at all

The hotel room was small. The bathroom sink was separate from the shower and toilet. The view from the room faced a business street which was very noisy. There was no self parking, just valet which was very costly. The hotel required a resort fee but the property was not a resort.

The hotel lobby and outside area had a nice ambience, however the tv in the room is outdated compared to everything else that is modern. It was also a small congested room. Our A/C also kept cutting off and on making a clicking sound when the fan was on low. The comforter on our bed also had multiple stains on it that we had to wait until the next day to get another one because we didn’t notice until we were going to bed and housekeeping had left. For the price we paid for the room those things are unacceptable. We did enjoy the two drinks a day complimentary at the hotels bar. The valet parking was quick but I feel it is at an outrageous price. Located in great area.

Hotel was very cool, room was great except we had a second floor room where we could hear car and pedestrian traffic all night long waking us up several times per night. My adult daughter finally asked the front desk for ear plugs the second night (readily available) must not be an uncommon occurance

Location is close to River. Room was cool but very humid. Bathroom is tiny with a toilet and shower behind the door. The bathroom sink and mirror is in the room. So if you need to get dressed while anyone is still sleeping you will have to turn on the light in the bedroom. Toilet bowl and seat was all scratched up and in need of replacing. Decor in room is terrible. The whole place needs a remodel.

Our stay was a total of 4 nights. The first night the AC window unit was extremely loud, requested it be looked at. Second night was just as awful and requested a new room. The second room was great and quite. Don't get a single king on a high floor. Get a king on a lower floor with the sitting area. The bathroom is so much better too.

The room had a moldy air conditioner and reeked of mold and mildew. I was surprised that this room would be in rotation. The front desk agent was accommodating but knew about the issue. If you know the room needs attention, don’t put a guest in it. Lousy first impression. After we moved rooms, the new room was fine. The bill was wrong at checkout, which was corrected when I pointed it out. The dining option was not great. Luckily there were good restaurants in the area. Valet parking was $45 a night with no self-parking option. That is too high for the hassle - waited in a long line for the car after checkout. Would not recommend this hotel.

This was a beautiful historic location. The suite was GORGEOUS. Above all, the staff was EXCELLENT Ms. Sherry, Ms. Marty and Ms. Starla all exhibited EXCEPTIONAL quality of care. We would stay again just for the AMAZING customer care.

We love the location of this hotel and the employees are all terrific. They cater to your needs, the rooms are clean and housekeeping is friendly and accommodating. The bartenders are super knowledgable about the city and the front desk gang is top notch. Even the valets are fabulous. We'll be back!

Terrible check in experience - it took an hour or more. The staff were clueless as 20 people waited for an hour. Then, they were giving out keys to rooms that were already occupied. Lots of hidden fees as well. Will not be returning.

In our multiple trips to Savannah and this being the third hotel in our accommodations of said trip, it was by far the least favorable. We would not choose this hotel again. Valet staff was great, front desk was friendly and check in was pretty quick. We didn’t utilize the on-site restaurant, bar (2 “free” drinks per person per night included in the $25 per night resort fee), or little market so I cannot speak on those options/service. The elevators were slow which is understandable in an older building, however the room was cleanish (as far as bedding, towels, surfaces) overall however the in room coffee maker (Keurig) looked rough, the tray it sat on was well worn as was the tray the ice bucket and cups sat on (wood tray with water damage etc). The nightstand lamp was rusted and that leads me to the obvious - the rooms HVAC was less than stellar , resulting in visible mildew/mold and the damp hard flooring thru out the stay. The unit was on low fan and set to 61 degrees when we entered the room initially tho the current room temp was 68. It was quite cold so we changed the settings to 70 and auto for the fan. This was not a good move. We didn’t sleep well at all the first night due to stale, damp air. The next morning (after having multiple times dropping the ac temp down during the night to kick the unit on) we switched the fan more to Low again (instead of auto) and kept the thermostat at 69. Mildew on wall and ceilings sealed the “do not stay” spot for us.

Very nice hotel. The bartenders were very friendly and the ladies at the front desk were very helpful when we had a problem with our billing. (billing issue is still not resolved, but I am hopeful it will be soon) Also the guys working the valet stand were very personable and helpful. As long as the billing issue is resolved, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend the hotel to others.

Terrible service and staff are rude. $48 a night to use valets bc no parking but the attendants were clueless and seemed annoyed that they actually had to go get the cars. One even rolled their eyes. Had to reregistered our name in the system every time to get our car bc apparently couldn’t figure it out. Check in overcharged us by $280 and when trying to explain she was rude and annoyed as well and now have to wait for it be refunded. At one point my husband started walking in wrong directions down a hall that led to offices and a manager or employee stopped him and as he turned around to go she turned around to other employees and started laughing with them about it. How so unprofessional. The hotel itself was nice. Love the historic feel to it and beds and room were clean and comfortable. With that being said I won’t be back. You can have the nicest place but it’s the people and staff you remember. I’ll def be staying somewhere else on my many trips to Savannah.

I gave this property five stars, because it’s a very pretty hotel, in a great location, and the staff was exceptional. However, if I were to stay here again, I would have to ask for an inner room - while the view of the river was great, the noise throughout the night from Bay Street was overwhelming. No sleep at all. I’m not sure how much different it would be in an inside room, but I’ll give it a second chance, only because of the previous things listed.

We were on the 7th floor Bay Street side, the traffic noise was unbearable at night. The hotel did move us after 2 nights but then we did not get maid service. I am requesting a refund.

The room had a few flaws: the bathroom door was off the track, which left a big gap when it was closed, and there were noticeable spots on the sofa pillows. The hotel was very conveniently located - close to shopping and restaurants. Rooms were very clean and staff was pleasant. Our only complaint would be the intense aroma in the lobby and restaurant area. I know most people might like this but we felt it was to overpowering. We did not eat in the restaurant or stay in the lobby for long because it was making my daughter cough every time we were in that area. It was especially strong in the hallway on the way to our room on the first floor. We did visit the bar twice but just briefly as we could almost taste the aroma in our drinks. Only suggestion is non skid bath mat for the shower as I found it slippery. I still would rate this hotel a 5 since everything else was up to par.

The destination fee is really stupid. $25 a day just because I want to stay in an area? No that's really dumb. Also if your complimentary drinks menu is limited maybe you should make sure your bartenders are actually communicating that with your patrons

No one at the front desk to check in and no one around for check out. Road noise from Bay Street was loud. Bartender was great. Morning coffee and fruit was lacking fruit. Leftover apples was it. Not worth $25 fee

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. The room was clean and the hotel lobby area and decor is attractive. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The concierge was great and booked our “Ghost and Gravestones “ tour and restaurant reservation at “The Pirate’s House”. The location is great, within walking distance of the historic district, including the river walk area. It was my husband’s birthday and the staff made him feel special. During our breakfast (which was free during our stay, delicious and a full service restaurant), the waiter wished my husband a Happy Birthday! Word got out among the staff that it was his birthday. We also received 4 tokens for free drinks in the bar. The hotel is also pet friendly. (We saw a few well behaved dogs during our stay.)

Good stay. Easy check-in. Valet parking expensive but be convenient. Room was ready early which was great. Gave us a floor room which made things easy. Excellent location. Walk to shops, eateries and River front. The o my issues were the roAd closure at entrance and the shower doors needed attention. Full breakfast service available. Good but slow service. Be aware how their vouchers work… still very good. Lounge and dinner was ok…limited offerings. Overall very nice
