There were stairs at each entrance, which made using a luggage cart pretty much useless. The carpet in the hallway and the stairs is very dirty and stained. Parking is difficult as all of the spots are very narrow. If there was a large truck parked, there was no way you could get a car in next to it. Breakfast is adequate, but not great. The best part was the friendly staff - Stephanie was super helpful and friendly.

It was fine enough for the price. You can tell the building is old, but up grades are being made. They were working on new cable service institutions when we checked in after 5pm,and had to interrupt our privacy to finish, but wasn't working before we left. The pool was cold and the entry keys didn't work. The dinning room is very small and crowded but the food was decent.

The price for the stay was reasonable, however, they should include the pool key with the room keys, beings they advertise access to the indoor pool with your stay. You shouldn't have to make a special inquiry about pool access.

Whenever I stay at a property, I’m sure to check that it is ADA accessible and also has clear access to a working elevator. I will even call the property and ask. This one listed an elevator, but what you must know is that you have to go down about Five steps to get to an elevator to go back up to each of the floors with rooms. There is zero wheelchair access to the elevators.

even though there is an elevator, is was extremely difficult to reach the assigned floor. there were multiple steps to carry the luggage and the elevator does not help. Had to carry all the luggage to the third floor. based on this alone, would not stay here again!!

Motel is next to airport andthere is a free shuttle but the motel charges $10 day to park until return. I didn't expect a charge, especially since there is plenty of room in the lot. Pool area is very unappealing.

Continental breakfast very limited, and not celiac (gluten-free) friendly. Elevator was out of service. Heated pool, but heated does not mean warm by any measure. Room heater very noisy. However, beds were comfortable, pillows were nice, fridge worked, room was clean, price was good for a simple clean place to sleep.

Hello, In regard to a brief of this property, it would be difficult as the depth of issues is rather long. In short, the Super 8 property at Boise was found in poor condition and not really portrayed like the photos on the website. Room lighting was poor Cupboard handles were missing form the draws. Door to cabinet for hidden fridge was broken and not aligned. Bathroom mirror was cracked for sometime. The air-conditioning hadn't been cleaned in sometime. The carpets in the corridors were vacuumed regularly however, the carpets actually need to be steamed cleaned and this has not been done for sometime. Breakfast contained predominately sugar based food in the form of processed food. That said apples were available everyday for twelve days. There was no tea available for the four days of the trip, indicating that there is not a process followed or kept with regard to restocking of stock(food), or permission from group manager may be required to sign off on spending deplenished stock. Staff were friendly and do the best with what they have. The concern is with the owners Wyndham, there process of up keep, maintenance of the building and general appearance of the hotel. Numerous examples of possible hazzards exist from a legal stand point. Super8 hotel is in a good location as is evident of the other hotels close to the Airport. It is a one star budget hotel. It was built on a budget and possibly of 1980`s era. Would I stay again.... no

I checked in, and to my room. I went back to the front and checked out. The fact that they charged me 324, for an room that had so many burn holes in the curtains, sheets and bedding that it felt incredibly dirty. I would have probably endured it, except for the mold growing up the bathroom wall. The mold was a deal breaker for me. I paid 274 up front, today they charged my credit card 50 more dollars. Hotels.com reached out to the hotel the same day and they would not refund me for the booking. Instead they asked that we reach out to management the next day. I will attempt to handle this courteously with the hotel. If it’s not resolved by refunding me for the full booking and the 50 extra dollars they took from my account I will dispute the charge with my credit card company. If the management is not willing to provide clean curtains and sheets for guests that are paying 150 or more a night, then they are not doing the minimum required to maintain there rooms for occupancy.

Pretty dirty and poorly maintained. All the unwashable fabrics were gross and the drains were clogged. I was hoping to take a hot shower but couldn’t use it long before it backed up even if I put it on a trickle. Front desk person said he couldn’t do anything. There weren’t bugs at least and the bed was pretty comfortable. I thought there was breakfast but no idea where it would have been and probably better to skip anyway.

Hotel was ok, staff was great. Both beds were covered in body hair underneath the blankets. It was very clear cleaning staff didn't change the sheets possibly for quite a while as much hair as we had in the sheets.

I paid for my reservation in advance a few weeks before my stay. When I arrived and tried to check in, the lady at the front desk informed me that it would have been better if I hadn’t reserved in advance, and that she had to text her manager because she couldn’t check me in. I received our room keys and went up to the room. The ice machine on our floor didn’t work, the walls had stuff dried on them, and the carpets were stained red. When we woke up in the morning, there was a cockroach on my daughter’s blanket. The yogurt at breakfast was several days expired. The second day, our keys wouldn’t work. We went up to the front desk, and the same lady from the first night was working. She said she forgot to say we were there for multiple days, but that our key would work the rest of the week. The third night, our keys didn’t work and I once again had to go to the front desk. There was another lady at the desk who said that their system was old and so we would have to go every night to rekey. This should have been said the very first night! We were there Monday through Friday and not once was our room serviced. Trash wasn’t taken out, no new towels, nothing. When you check in, they ask for a card for “incidentals” but fail to mention they’re going to put a $50 hold on your card. The staff definitely needs to be trained better! When we tried to check out, they were updating their system and couldn’t check me out. It was smelly, dirty, and so unpleasant. do not stay here!!

The staff were all quite friendly. We checked in late after a ling day of driving. The moment we sat on the bed and felt the springs poke at us, i could have cried. The king bed had a dip on the left and a dip in the right sides, with springs pushing thru for both sides. This was unacceptable. The comforter also had small holes in it. I expected a property with the name Wyndham to be up to certain standards, or I would not have booked with Super 8. We felt that we had no choice as it was late and we were quite fatigued from r he day of travel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

The fridge sounded like an angry demon growling all night long. After trying to figure out the TV for awhile, we discovered the digital adapter box was laying on the floor, but once we unplugged it and plugged it back in, it rebooted and eventually came on and worked. The seat on the toilet was flimsy and off-center and nearly dumped my father on the floor when he sat on it. On the plus side, the place is right off the highway, and I was moved to a first floor room after I asked about an elevator and was told it was out of order (I am disabled and can't use the stairs). The biggest downer was the room itself was noisy, but it was a place to sleep and served its purpose.

Front desk staff was polite and accommodating. For the price of the room it was a decent stay. Walls are too thin tho. You can hear everything happening outside your room and some. It was clean but could definitely use an upgrade on a few items.

Really difficult and annoying rules for that aren’t POSTED ANYWHERE or mentioned online when checking in, they don’t accept cash or cards from banks like Chime or Visa that have stores on them. I had a Sephora Visa that is an actual credit card, not a store card but they said it couldn’t be used. None of these rules are advertised anywhere. I ended up having to call a friend who could use their card. It was really embarrassing and upsetting to be turned away and treated like a scammer. This motel is comfortable and the little breakfast area is cute, I liked my stay but I did not like feeling like my daughter and I were going to need to find other accommodations on very short notice after 6 hours of driving. They do not care at all about the inconvenience and embarrassment they cause. I get the feeling the manager here really hates the people who may stay there and tries to turn them away. Kyle was fine but the aggression towards every card I have made me very uncomfortable. It’s almost like they were running a scam and wanted to make sure you didn’t bank with an institution that could refund you. There was something very strange about it and I had the check multiple times with my friend to make sure his card wasn’t charged again for no reason. I loved everything about Boise but you won’t see me here again.

I happen to own a lodge so I understand when guests are upset and we try hard to give our guests the best customer service possible. I don't normally leave bad reviews but this visit was by far the worst experience I have ever had at any hotel! We were into our 2nd morning and my daughter noticed a large pentagram lightly drawn on the wall with 666 written inside the drawing that we hadn't noticed until we turned on all the lights. I had my daughter and I pack all our items and we went to the front desk and I asked for a different room. The manager was contacted and I was told they would not change my room but I was free to go somewhere else but that I wasn't getting my money back. What the???..... I didn't ask for my money back...I asked to be moved to a different room. I was told they keep photos and videos before guests check in but that I couldn't see those videos/pictures...only my lawyer could. The manager told me there were no markings on the wall of our room before we checked in. In essence, I was accused of being a liar and they would not move us to a different room. Manager was rude while trying to act professional. I was going to try and stay but I just couldn't stay there with my daughter in that room so we ended up going to ESA which was wonderful! ESA told me if I had any problems they'd be happy to move me to a different room. Imagine that! Contacted Super8 Corporate & requested my money back for the days we weren't there. Still no word from them.

Paid in full for three nights. Wasn't allowed to check in because didn't have a credit card they would accept for $50 deposit. They wouldn't even accept cash or a virtual card. I am still waiting for a refund. We stayed at a different hotel across the street that accepted cash

Standard super 8. Had been pre-assigned a room. Upon arrival had been put in already occupied room. Staff arranged for a different room. Got into room and no tv remote or coffee maker. Staff did nothing to correct situation. Unable to use tv even manually. Husband complained again upon checkout and was told hotel had been overbooked and we would receive an email from the manager. 2 days and still no email. Will think twice about staying there again.

There is nothing good to say about this dump. The place is filthy. You are treated like inmates by staff. I'm pretty sure there was an elephant herd in the room above mine, that promtly began stampeding at 2:17 am. I'm a lone woman but after 30 minutes of banging, slamming and pounding, I WENT UPSTAIRS!! Never in my life have I dared confront strangers in that type of situation, but it was ridiculous!! The employee himself was up there and told me he hadnt heard much, just these people moving in. Well... they proceeded to "move in" from then (2:45 am) until 4am. Literally. I couldnt even get clean towels without feeling like a beggar. I travel a lot, and I will NEVER stay in a Super 8 again. I suggest you trust me on this one...

Make sure they will accept the card you're going to use before booking this hotel.... Because apparently they are very picky. Which is extremely ridiculous considering money is money. A card is card. If there's money on that card and it goes through it shouldn't matter. But apparently it does to only that hotel. I spent 2 hours looking for a hotel after I drove 7 and 1/2 hours having reservations already at that hotel because they would not accept my Visa debit card.

Someone else was issued our room and at midnight people entered my room with my husband kids and dog. After it happened, I called the front desk to complain then hung up and 15 minutes later was called back by the front desk to tell me that I was a vagrant and I wasn’t supposed to be in the room and I was going to be removed by police. I had to go downstairs and state that I had a card issue to that room. They then found the paperwork that showed that I was supposed to have been moved, but I never was. I’m still waiting for a callback from the manager to see what they are going to do about all this because it was absolutely ridiculous.

Cheaper rate since it's close to the airport, but has good sound-proofing and couldn't hear the planes nor the highway traffic. That surprised me and made me quite happy. No protein provided for breakfast. Just cereal, yogurt and waffles. Coffee wasn't that good. But for the price I paid, I could overlook the inconvenience of picking up food/coffee further up the road along my route.

Staff was friendly, room was clean. Property is a little older but has all of the necessities. For being near the freeway and airport, it was very quiet. It even had a pool that Expedia didn’t have on the description. Breakfast was completely carbs, not one protein option except milk for cereal, so that could’ve been a little better but, we didn’t go hungry.
