I only give this hotel a 3 star rating for these reasons: the floor is not carpeted in the rooms and we heard every footstep and every dropped item that hit the floor above us. That made it very difficult to sleep as it seemed the people were shoving furniture and suitcases around not to mention walking in hard heeled shoes. The breakfast is not continental which we knew. It is an attached restaurant that charges an exorbitant amount for the food. It was good...but very expensive. Our room was never serviced in the 5 days we were there. We had to ask for towels. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly. No problems there. The beds were very comfortable.

Gardiner is a town with few amenities. So be aware.

Parking was very easy, right on the main street through town. The office staff was very helpful and genuine. The cafe next door had delicious food.

The walls were thin we could hear the neighbors at 5 o’clock in the morning, there was no breakfast in the morning which other hotels offer. The people working there at the front desk were very nice and friendly and greeted us. Chris was very helpful with suggesting places to visit to make our stay better. Overall, I would rate this place where we stayed a 5 out of 10.

The owners/staff at the front desk were the most friendly, genuinely happy people. They were prepared with our reservation, gave helpful recommendations for food in town, and were so pleasant to talk to. The rooms were spotless and had all the necessary amenities.
