Our balcony overlooking the river was very relaxing after long days in Yellowstone Park. Loved how close we were to the park’s entrance and the original arch gate. Our only complaint is that we were there 3 days and all 3 days the hot tub was out of order.

The best part is the free laundry room. The front desk even provide free detergent and drying sheets. We stayed at this property for the 5th and 6th day of our trip. As a party with 2 young kids, this hotel saved us. Btw, there are elk walking in the parking lot when we checked in. Amazing.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel! Everything was spotless — the rooms were super clean, the entire facility was well-maintained, and you could tell they take pride in keeping things nice for their guests. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The pool area was also very clean and relaxing, and our kids had an absolute blast in the game room. It was one of the best we’ve seen — lots of fun options and a perfect place for them to unwind. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, family-friendly, and exceptionally clean place to stay!

The staff was amazing and the amenities were great! The property has bikes you can check out so we rode bikes to dinner. It also lights a fire pit each evening and each guest receives a complimentary s'mores kit as well as a bottled water each day. The room wasclean and comfortable!

This hotel had plenty of amenities for families - bikes, pool, hot tub, s'mores, etc. We didn't take advantage of much of them - but it was a quiet and comfortable place to stay near to the North entrance of Yellowstone. Would happily stay again, if we are fortunate enough to return to this area.

Staff here is excellent, located in a nice spot, rooms are spacious. They have a fire pit that they give you s'mores to make. They give you recyclable water bottles on check in. Comfortable beds, big showers. Great overall just one issue I had was my room smelled horrible. I could smell urine possibly the people prior has pets that peed in the room. We had to use alot of air freshener everytime we walked in the room.

Rooms were pretty clean except for window which were in major need of washing. Were informed upon check in there was a gnats nest outside our door so not to leave it open for too long (yuck). Luckily we were just passing through so our stay was short.

We only stayed here one night on our way to Yellowstone NP. I would’ve liked to stay longer given the beautiful river views, and how quiet it was even on a busy fully booked weekend. Only unfortunate thing was husband found 2 or 3 long black hairs in the bed sheets which was a little disconcerting. Nobody wants to find hairs in a “clean” bed.

First time staying in Gardiner so unsure of where to pick without being abe to compare properties so hoped for the best. First let us say, the location right on the river was just grand! Our view out of our room was spectacular! We were booked for 3 nights with most of pur days spent in YNP so also grateful for the fridge available in room. However, cleanliness was an issue. Dust evrywhere, dirt, dead beetles, etc in corners & behind toilet. My allergies were awful here. The vent cover was falling from ceiling. Mattresses & bedding thankfully clean or would've been deal breaker. They tried but corners sadly cut. They need to update to an alternate flooring & lighten up the place with some paint. With that said, had they had a 4th night available with a cancelation, we would have taken it just for the river ambience & quietness of the town.

It was nice to receive a reusable metal water bottle, although that’s part of our “resort fee.” Reception told us we had one of the best rooms and it had the nice “river view,” but the only window is on a walkway so we had to keep the curtains shut for privacy. Also the room (405) must be next to plumbing because it was loud when other people took showers. Nevertheless the beds were comfortable and we slept well.

Great location as this property is at the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Checking in was easy as staff are very accommodating. Our room was clean and the view was awesome. We asked for a room with the river view and were not disappointed. We saw the mountains and the river, even spotted elk in the hills and in the parking lot!

The room had a brick wall as a view. I was told by Expedia when booking it was a river view. Lady at the desk said it wasn’t a great view as one of the cheaper rooms. The hvac outside our room was incredibly loud so could not open the window. Room got too hot. There were hairs in the shower curtain and the lamp. The overall room decor was old fashioned and needs updating. Unsure if we had clean sheets. We had to challenge our bill when we left as they tried to increase the amenities and tax costs then said we had booked it early so got the better out of season rates. Essentially they complained we were insisting on paying the quoted rate. Poor service. Hotel was not as rated in reality as advertised on Expedia.

The property is a little dated, the bathroom fan is just a smidge below the volume of a jet engine, but the location is excellent, the staff is excellent, and the value of the stay is very good. I can’t stress enough how good the staff was. For a motel style hotel, they delivered like they were the Ritz Carlton. “Can I help with your bags, can we recommend food, can we do anything to make your stay better…”

Great location right outside of Yellowstone, great accommodations and the staff was excellent, from Josh at the Front Desk to Joe around the grounds…and the rest of the team. All willing to be very helpful throughout our stay. My kids and I had a real great time at Ridgeline and will be coming back again!

Ameika was wonderful when checking in and the staff was great overall. Free water bottles and good air conditioning. Convenient location to the gateway to Yellowstone. The property is a bit outdated, but it serves its purpose, we were not in the room for very long. Also free laundry! Highly suggest getting a river view to Im or a cabin, those rooms seemed a bit more updated and much nicer.
Ameika was wonderful when checking in and the staff was great overall. Free water bottles and good air conditioning. Convenient location to the gateway to Yellowstone. The property is a bit outdated, but it serves its purpose, we were not in the room for very long. Also free laundry! Highly suggest getting a river view to Im or a cabin, those rooms seemed a bit more updated and much nicer.

This Hotels.com really botched the whole thing. My connecting flight to the area of the hotel from Dallas-Ft. Worth, TX, was canceled due to weather, with travel to be completed the next day. I wanted to report my 24-hrs late expected arrival to Hotels.com and/or the RidgeLine Hotel - But couldn't!!! 'Spent an inordinate amount of time in internet to get in touch with either party, but it was a disastrous no-go! It's like "Don't call us, we won't call you", after they take your money. This hotels.com, or Expedia I suppose, gotten too big for their britches. When I finally arrived-in at the hotel, late the next day, they told me my reservations were cancelled. Thank you very much! Between the two accommodation businesses, the hotels.com and the Gardiner, MT, hotel, I was thrown in the street. Fine accommodations! Pulling in Gardiner, MT, I kept seeing "No Vacancy" signs at various hotels. It was very upsetting to have my reservations, made several months back, cancelled. I had to reduce myself to beg for a room, at higher rate! I am now trying to write to the proper authorities (if they exist) at Hotels.com to tell them about their wayward ways, and then cancel, wipeout my account there, and never, ever again do biz w/this hotels.com, coz it's not needed. What a great unique stay. 100% recommend upgrading to the river view if it is available. Big room very close to the north Yellowstone stone entrance. 10/10 would recommend and would visit again. Also, if you like seeing elk up close there are many that frequent the property

This lovely property was right on the edge of the park set atop the riverbank of the Yellowstone. The view is everything! Rooms are comfortable and quiet especially considering you are right in the town and can walk to many restaurants.

Great location as this property is at the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Checking in was easy as staff are very accommodating. Our room was clean and the view was awesome. We asked for a room with the river view and were not disappointed. We saw the mountains and the river, even spotted elk in the hills and in the parking lot!

We loved our stay at the Ridgeline! Our room had an amazing view of the river. Staff was helpful and friendly. It was a lot of fun gathering around the shared fire pit. Location is very convenient to a nice variety of restaurants and shops.

Okay average 2-3 star hotel room. The $15 per day “resort fee” was unacceptable. No value-add, just a way to add cost to the consumer. The $18 buffet breakfast was similar to the free cheap breakfast at many chain hotels.

Rooms are noisy. Activity from neighboring rooms is disturbing while trying to sleep. Front desk check in was a long wait. Short line but clerk took a lot of time with each guest explaining every detail in the area and Montana in general along with features in Yellowstone. Hotel owned restaurant next door was short staffed. Would liked to have tried dinner, but left after 10 minutes in line with 4 other parties while staff waited on seated guests.

The restaurant had an awesome menu and the food was very tasty, including the breakfast buffet. The river view room had an amazing view. We enjoyed watching the elk walk by and the eagles fishing. One window was very hard to open, the other wouldn't open at all. We didn't know ahead of time that we would need to carry our luggage up the stairs, which is difficult for older people. I'm not sure what the noise was, but several times during the night there was a loud bang, sounded like coming from the TV or in the wall behind the TV, so it was difficult to sleep.

My son and husband loved the game room and we all enjoyed the indoor pool and outdoor hot tub. The only negative as that breakfast wasn't included, but that allowed us to stop by the local grocery store, which had a lot of pastry and hot breakfast sandwich options, before we headed back to Yellowstone.

for some reason someone at hotel told us breakfast was complimentary at the Yellowstone Mine. the first morning we went to Eat that was great. the last morning we went to the Yellowstone Mine, we ask the guy at counter is this where we go for the hotel breakfast he said yes. the food was not good we didn't eat it. then we find out it is not complimentary. why would the hotel put anything about breakfast the lady up front said she miss read it. well don't add breakfast if its not just say nothing.

Ok place to lay your head for a night, thankfully that’s all we stayed. The room was clean and bed comfy but it smelled musty and the shower was super small. We were right next to laundry room and although there are recommended hours for laundry, I was woken up at 12am and 4am to the sound of a washing machine.

We stayed in the explorer cabins that are so cool. We had a king bed in a bedroom, with a full bathroom, and a kitchen and living room. There was a front porch and a rooftop with chairs to view the stars. The room came with binoculars to see the stars. Outside the cabin was a fire pit and you can get s'more kits. There is an awesome inside pool and outside hot tub. There are bikes that the guests can use. Plus, air hockey and a pool table for guests to use. This hotel is located very close to the North Yellowstone entrance. It is great for families and for couples!
