The double queen room had ample space, with a lot of desk counter space and a couch. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed being able to walk to get breakfast across the street, and supper just down the street. There is not a 24-hour front desk, but they make arrangements if you let them know you will be arriving late.

Very nice clean hotel in Gardner MT. Located close to shops and restaurants. The views from second floor balcony was amazing. Each unit had two chairs on the balcony for viewing the mountainside and enjoying your morning coffee.

Nice and clean. No elevators though (access to rooms is outside). Check in was closed when i arrived (about 10pm) so they left my room key taped to the door of the reception area.

The Big Rock was in town but not in high traffic, walking distance to restaurants, a grocery market. It was clean, comfortable and the kitchenette was everything we needed to cook a simple meal. The view was great and the table and chairs on the common patio area was appreciated. A bonus was having an elk eating in the grass right next to the hotel!

Since we were going to Yellowstone National Park via the North entrance, the hotel was conveniently located, only about a mile away. The staff were all pleasant and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. Our room had a kitchen with the equipment needed to cook. It had an apartment-sized refrigerator rather than the typical hotel mini fridges. Also, if you need bear spray, there is a kiosk in the lobby where you can rent it. We would stay there again if in the area.

A comfortable stay in Gardiner en route to Yellowstone NP. No frills, but delivers all we needed for an overnight stay. The balcony outside the room is a lovely touch, with a splendid view out to the mountains.

Large super clean room, however the cleaners didn't do a perfect job as there was a toothpick on the floor next to the bed. The bedside was very comfortable. Compared to the room, the bathroom was tiny and had the sink outside of it. Nice coffee. Easy to find and plenty of parking. The check in lady wasn't the most welcoming however the morning guy was real friendly and wonderful. Great mountain views from room window.

Liked location. Liked quick check-in with very nice staff. Disliked shower water pressure. Very little pressure. Disliked cobwebs with dead bugs in both main room and toilet/shower areas which I didn't report. Otherwise room was clean. Disliked beds, needed better mattress support.

Great location and pleased overall. However, bathroom floor tile is very slippery (especially since we were in an "accessible" room which I assume is for people who are older or have mobility issues). I actually slipped and fell when getting out of the shower. My wife put a towel on the floor when she showered which took care of the problem. The tile is very pretty but they should have used the stuff that isn't slippery like other places do (and what we installed at out home). Otherwise, very nice place.

This is a nice place to stay if you are visiting Yellowstone. The staff do a nice job cleaning the rooms. Elk roam freely through the neighborhood. My only two critics of this property is the bugs that are attracted to the porch light…they quickly can get in the room (they go right for the lights within the room). Most importantly, the bath towels, hand towels and wash clothes were old, grungy looking and smell. I travel all over the world and never came across this. I am strongly encouraging the owners to buy new ones immediately as I spoken to several other guests who felt the same about the towels. Otherwise, probably the best place to stay in Gardiner.

Staff was very friendly and check-in was a smooth process. The room was good - some areas were a little dirty, such as corners by the vanity, but overall in good condition. Had a ground room and could hear people walking above us and others entering their room. Not bad, but noticable. Was a good stay for one night.

We enjoyed having a room with a kitchen. As usual with hotel kitchens, what was available (pots, pans, utensils) was a little hit or miss, but everything worked, and there was both a high top seating area and a table, which was nice. I found the bed comfortable, but my husband didn’t. The office staff was very accommodating and let us check in a couple hours early (although there was some kind of miscommunication and a maintenance person came in later without knocking). We could hear the people in the room above us, but we seemed to go to bed at the same time, so it wasn’t an issue

It was nice place but the ceiling was thin. You could hear everything from upstairs. I was disappointed in the fact that i booked a year in advance and i was stuck in room 101 right next to the lobby with no view. I would have thought being probably one of the first to book i would have gotten a top floor. We were there a couple of days and everyone on the top floors only stayed one night so that was dissapointing. The receptionist said she couldn't change it cause when we booked we get assigned room. I never got the chose to choose where i wanted to stay.

The front desk lady (I can’t remember her name but she was there the whole time we were-June 7-9) was the absolute most amazing human! Hard working, full of tips and fun stories. Beautiful views, very clean, wonderful patio to enjoy the scenery and wildlife.

Overall ok stay. First attendant at the desk was a bit rude and wouldn't entertain any sort of early check-in at all.... when we came back, that different attendant was very nice. Room was ok... enough space. Nothing fancy.

Extremely strong chemical smell in the room leading to headaches and awful customer service. Front desk staff informed us it was febreeze and manager would be available next morning. When calling upon getting service while traveling at 3pm, manager was extremely unproffesional and accusatory. "I\'ve been waiting all day for your call and you never called", "I\'m not even supposed to be working right now". Offered a laughable $10 off before saying the best she could do was $20. Hotel clearly does not value guest satisfaction nor want to hear if there are concerns. Would not risk staying again.

We just stayed overnight so was convenient and a mile from the north Yellowstone park entrance. But I refused to take my socks or shoes off, the carpet needs to be taken out. Kinda needs a makeover. But we survived!

Great place to stay in Gardiner! It has a beautiful view of the mountains and tables and chairs right outside of the rooms to relax and take in the scenery. The staff was very helpful with restaurant suggestions. Walkable to restaurants and less than a 5 minute drive to the north entrance of Yellowstone

Great place to stay for a Yellowstone trip. Kitchenette had everything we needed to avoid the high prices and/or long waits at local restaurants. Friendly and accommodating staff, great porch area for evening viewing of many elk passing through the town, and the parking lot!!!

It would seem like a place of this price would offer a continental breakfast. Beds were great, the afternoon /evening check-in lady was wonderful, even fixed the cable on the tv. Very easy access to the north entrance. Elk family on property for the entire evening. (The only elk we saw at or near Yellowstone.)

This place was excellent. We booked the day before our stay. The facility was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the room had a nice microwave and refrigerator but it didn't have a freezer if that is a concern. Walkable to a lot of dining and drinking establishments, a grocery store with a surprising amount of items with decent prices considering the area and time of year. The grocery store had a deli where we purchased our supper from and it was terrific. Ice Machines on each floor too. Would definitely stay there again.
