Nice on bottom floor. I checked Im online but redid exactly same thing when checked in. Haha. There was no hot water so chilly shower and had driven 9 hours. Ooops. Breakfast was dirty area and not much there for breakfast. No check out staff but thinking under staffed. Towels were dirty. For a three star it was not but all good. On road again. Haha

We booked because of the LaQuinta name, but this one was more on the Motel 6 level. It was old, dirty, and the outside stairs were rusty. We arrived at 3:00 pm and there was no hot water. At 9:00 am the next morning there was still no hot water. We were scheduled to stay a week but left that morning, it was not worth our health.

Room was very good, clean and overall comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool looked inviting and clean although I didn’t come prepared to swim. Searched the hotel for ice and found two machines and neither worked. Didn’t look like they had worked in a long time. So, no ice. Breakfast was less than expected. Didn’t appear much effort was put into preparing it.

Surrounding parking lot was very nasty. Found hair in bedding, corner sheet was torn and wouldn’t stay in place, had to get another bottom sheet and we replaced it ourselves

The room was cleanish, 2.5-3 star style property. The kind you would stay at if you were traveling for business. The breakfast was good, there was plenty of seating. There was also ample parking (see below though for the state of the parking lot). The shower was dirty (my 6 year old insisted on wearing her crocs in there while showering), the window was broken, there was a hole in the fitted sheet so I was touching the mattress (yuck). My biggest complaint was the parking lot. There were numerous groups of obvious full time or long term residents standing around partying and drinking in the parking lot. I was concerned for my family’s safety and the safety of my vehicle. Considering drinking in public is illegal it wouldn’t be hard to have the parking lot checked by police.

Clock has all plug 🔌 ins for my phone to charge, nothing works, had to unplug radio so i could charge my phone. Tried the in the bathroom but there was to much moisture and my phone alert ⚠️. Stained comforter, they charged my credit card without my consent. Told me they needed it on file, not charging it.Im pissed. Terrible place. Ice machine by pool are is filthy dirty and doesn't work .sheets smell funny. I was so tired from driving that i wanting to let them change my room. But I fell asleep that's how tired and exhausted I was. This is bad 👎 😕

coffee maker in the room was not working. the coffee machine in the breakfast room was not working. Microwave in the room was broken.Ice machines were broken. the picture of the hotel is not the hotel we stayed at. The hotel rooms were all exterior entry. The picture in the add was like a normal La Quinta with interior entries. the ntire property was run down some of the stairwells were taped off to prvent entry. I presume that was because of dangerous area.

The floors in the hotel room were so disgusting after walking around barefoot for 10 minutes my feet were black. Floors have never been mopped. Looked like mold in the shower on the ceiling. Bed sheets had burn marks and something that looked like blood stains. Entire room was just disgusting and felt gross. I was extremely mislead based on ratings and other reviews on Expedia. 0/10 would not recommend or ever stay here again.

We noticed there was a terrible smell in the room. We left the door open while unloading the car, and turned the air conditioner on high, trying to air it out. My husband went to bed immediately since he wasn’t feeling well. When I went into the bathroom, I discovered that someone had defacated in the toilet and didn’t flush, and this was the reason for the sickening smell. There was a used washcloth in the shower. One bed was not made up correctly, leading us to believe that the linens hadn’t been changed. I went to the front desk and advised the staff. She didn’t apologize, but told me she could put us in another room and couldn’t refund our money. We moved to another room, mostly due to the smell, and also because the room hadn’t been cleaned. In the second room, we were at least able to rest. We have never been in a hotel room that has been this disgusting. I would appreciate to be contacted by the hotel management.

The room was very dirty, the floor, bedsheets, toilet. Everything was very dirty. The staff couldn't care less and didn't offer assistance right away. The soda dispenser in the toilet didn't work. The water level in the toilet was too high for a cleanly use. The bathtub was so dirty it turned black. The area around the hotel is noisy, unsafe and there are street walkers roaming around it. The whole experience was beyond terrible

This place is truly awful. Ripped out smoke detector, blood and stains in sheets and on walls, bug under my pillow in the morning, stained couches, drunk guy by my car at night. Staff refused to help me or put me in contact with the manager (I truly did ask nicely!). I then asked for information on who to contact to complain about the property (like the DHHS) and they said they are controlled by them. Felt unsafe to leave my kids or car out of my eyesight. Constantly slamming doors. Domestic violence in the hallway. Manager still hasn’t contacted me when I asked them to. Truly despicable.

I liked nothing we got to the room and the bathroom was dirty! The toilet had very obviously been used, there was all kinds of hair on the bedding, and the room was supposed to be a non smoking room but REEKED of cigarettes. It’s pretty sketchy would NOT recommend.

First room they tried to give me smelt so bad of smoke, second one the door wouldn’t stay shut, ac unit was falling off the wall, pool of water under the AC unit in the corner of the room occupied by roaches!! Someone else's hair in the tun, ZERO toilet paper, candy stuck on floor, dirty bed sheet, the alarm clock doubles as charging station for your devices & that was broken, hotel door lock bar, broken off, outside air coming through as if window was open, buttons of tv remote broken, BUT there were no bed bugs 😐

The room was quite nice. However, the plug in the bath for both the coffee machine and the hair dryer was inoperable. Neither were able to be used. Breakfast, eggs were, tepid. Potatoes were cool. When asked for a paper hotel bill receipt , was told the printer was not working. I would have to print it from my computer, to whip do not have one, disappointed in that.

First thing was when we checked in the phone in the room wasn't working. After two staff and 1 technician still wasn't working. Glad we had our own. It was horrible to try to watch any daily news or programs. Cable TV was to complicated. Who wants to watch news from every country in the world. Flies were persistence. Breakfast with okay. What would you expect for the price.

Upon arrival, the lobby was dirty, the bathroom in the lobby was dirty, our room that was given to us the first time was already occupied. 2nd room was ok but still dirty, bugs on the floor, sheets had several holes in it, lots of shady people around. Maid cleaned rooms next to us at 11:00PM, noisy. My husband was approached by prostitutes that showed up all around the hotel when it was getting dark. Staff looked unprofessional in clothing, the female wore a sweatshirt, the male had a decent shirt on. The smoke detector had a rotating greenish light in it. Never seen a rotating light in a smoke detector in my 59 years. Camera? The stairs were crumbling, again, lots of shady looking people around there. Did not feel safe at all, not even my husband and he is a tough cookie. We left at 11:30 at night. Could not sleep with everything that was going on around there. If there could be a negative sign around the sad faces, I surely would have utilized that. This is the VERY WORST LaQuinta I have ever stayed in.

Well, unfortunately our stay this time around was not very pleasant. The room was nice and clean, but the day after we took our showers and went on about our day. That evening after we had been out of the room all day, the room hadn't been attended, trash hadn't been picked up, bathroom hadn't been cleaned up, and entire room hadn't been swept, plus our dirty towels from our showers were still on the bathroom floor like we left them, and unfortunately no clean towels had been put in the bathroom. That evening my husband called the front desk to ask for clean towels, they never were delivered. So, i took the initiative to walk to the front office to ask for towels, the lady said she'd take them to the room, nothing was delivered & it was after 9p.m. so my husband went down there and complained again and finally the towels were delivered. This was a bit inconvenient for us to have to walk down there because we are both handicapped people. I am putting this complaint because it was an inconvenience and i don't want anyone else to have to go through this. Hire people who are willing to work for their money and not just take it. Thank you.

the front desk was wonderful my companion had a medical emergency and the first lady i run into assisted me call ambulance stay with me until the ambulance got there she was kind supportive since she knew we were just passing through . i will be greatful for her kindness

The front desk gentleman Sai Manideep was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful. I called to make sure outdoor pool was up and running before I booked and he was so helpful and nice. Booking thru Expedia I've found most places seem to have a problem with that and you are treated differently. It looks like they are trying to remodel but just covering stuff up instead of fixing. The manager approached me and asked what room I was staying in. It was very creepy cause he did not introduce himself first. So a random guy asking me what room I was in didn't go over very well to say the least!!! So manager [so he says] needs some training!!! The other staff [cleaning guy] only been there a couple days was also fantastic, cheerful, and helpful. I didn't get his name. Easy on and off to I-40

The property was unlike other la Quinta properties ive stayed in before as the doors were all on the outside like a motel. There was construction going on past 9pm right next to my room. The walls and door was paper thin so you could hear everything happening all around you. Multiple sirens throughout the night. The staff were sweet though. The area looked sketchy and in the morning ran into some crazies in the parking lot on my way out. Its what i expected for 65 dollars.

I loved that there was a waffle house in walking distance. What i didnt like is 1 of the rooms booked, there was no smoke detector and the extra locking latch was broken. In the other room, the bathroom door could not shut due to being too big. Other than these few things,everything was great!

I didn’t stay here because I didn’t feel safe. I slept at a rest area instead. Building looks nothing like it does online. People around the property who are clearly on drugs eyeing you up. Pool was empty, no warning about it. Dirty as hell. Just horrible

The room was quite nice. However, the plug in the bath for both the coffee machine and the hair dryer was inoperable. Neither were able to be used. Breakfast, eggs were, tepid. Potatoes were cool. When asked for a paper hotel bill receipt , was told the printer was not working. I would have to print it from my computer, to whip do not have one, disappointed in that.

There was nothing I liked, except the staff was cordial & tried to make up for the rest. Bathroom had no workable soap dispenser. No towels except two dirty bath towels. Coffee maker not working, clock & microwave were unplugged & furniture had to be moved around to plug in. Sheets had multiple holes in them. Breakfast was limited & area & equipment was dirty.

Minimal towels and such were thin and mis-matched. Thin sheets and blanket. First room toilet was plugged. Single staff member was very minimally helpful. Breakfast was almost non-existent. Bathtub damaged and seemed unsafe. We will not stay there again when travel through Amarillo.
