The room was clean and the staff was friendly. They don't clean the room every day and don't bring clean towels unless you ask for them, you also have to take out your own trash. We were on the 3rd floor and the only elevator stopped working so we had to use the stairs. Also the pool was not very clean when we got there so we only used it once.

Unfortunately the pool wasn't available, so the kids were disappointed. Otherwise everyone was really friendly. The building has seen better days, but for the price it was perfectly fine.

the elevator was out of service for 6 days. At breakfast the micro wave and the roaster do not work at same time, because the energy was break down. the stairs smell bad.

DO NOT stay here, especially if you have kids. I don’t ever write reviews about any business but I feel like I have to with this one. The staff was very sweet, and this review is in no way shape or form attacking them. I checked in on April 2nd and as soon as I walked in my room I was greeted with the smell of dog urine and chemicals. I stayed in the room for about 15 minutes and I started to get a headache. I figured maybe food would help so as I was leaving the hotel to get some food, I asked the sweet guy at the front desk if all the rooms smelled like this and he told me “no” but he was sweet enough to put me in another room. I go to grab my stuff out of my room to bring to my new room and my ankles start to itch….i sit down to look at my ankles and I had flea bites on my ankles. Through out the hotel the carpet has a very overwhelming smell to it and I don’t think it’s physically healthy to stay here especially if you’re breathing in chemicals and getting bitten by fleas. I want to remind everyone that the staff is not the problem here, it’s the building and they all deserve raises because despite the problems this place has they all still have smiles on their faces.

People are very friendly but this place is run down and dirty. Pillow cases yellowed, sheets, yellowed, bath towels stained. Furnature in room very old and worn. Bed terribly uncomfortable and lumpy. Not likely to come here again.

Everything was amazing from the wonderful service given by the young lady at check in. Don't mind any negative reviews! This hotel is clean and the service is great! The was the best stop I could have made off the 10 while traveling with family. Price was the best and so was the service. My daughters and I were blessed to receive a family suite, we had so much space and slept so well! It was also very quite and peaceful! The only thing I didn't give 5 stars on hear nothing to do with the staff, environment nor cleanliness it was just the breakfast. The breakfast is a corporate thing as this is what they offer at all hotels. Cereal, bread, eggs and waffles. The breakfast area was clean, neat and the staff continued to wipe as stations were used. I did not have interaction with the morning desk staff but the ladies in the dining area were pleasant and again the night desk clerk was amazing! I can't stress that enough, her attitude was welcoming, kind, cheerful, patient and ready to fix any issues or concerns! She literally should be the standard of all hospitality agents! Thank you all for an amazing stay! Me and my girls enjoyed and appreciated everything!

Found bed bugs in my room. Went downstairs to request another. Male clerk was upset, had the tv/radio on loudly and kept asking me to repeat myself because he couldn’t hear me over it. He didn’t fight me on my request and handled my problem quickly. He was abrasive. In the end I was able to refund through my booking company. Hope they fix the bug problem. My family was also staying there in other rooms.

We had BED BUGS!!! The staff was also extremely rude and didn’t offer a single apology for the bugs or the inconvenience this caused. The girl at the front desk even threw a live bed bug in her trash can because she didn’t like bugs and couldn’t stand to look at it. I do not recommend!

Elevator was dirty, someone’s dog peed in the elevator. Bathroom wasn’t too clean the water, made my skin so dry and broke me out, and the rooms have a stale smell to them. Very disappointing, the customer service was atleast okay.

The Lobby nice and clean. But once u left that area it was dirty and smelled. We where on the 4th floor and once off the elevator the floors where filthy. We even had alot of hair stuck to the wall outside our door.

Stay was great, except for one thing. Not sure, but maybe the window in room 223 needs to be changed. The noise from the interstate was kind of loud, but we made do. Would have given 5 stars if the room was just a tad quieter. Overall, was a superb stay and would definitely stay here again.

Thin wall establishment. Can literally hear all of the sounds from outside. Staff at front desk is always helpful and friendly. The area as a whole is not the safest but that’s not the hotels fault. I’ve stayed here multiple times and will continue to stay bc it’s affordable. Note: this isn’t a complaint only a review

It is a bit far from the center of Houston, but very spacious and clean rooms, restrooms and baths are very comfortable! The bedding and towels are also of high quality. We had no trouble finding many options for dining and shopping in the neighborhood.

The lady working the front desk had a very nasty attitude. She was arguing with the customers and very rude. The elevators stopped working a lady got stuck on it on the third floor. She came down to tell her about she had an attitude. The man came to tell her that his key wasn’t working, she wanted to argue with the man about how she just made the key it should be working and if it’s a problem he can check out. I’ve stayed here several times before and the service is always good. After this stay this will be my last time. Also the air in the room barely work.

Was good until we came back last night from a wedding and lots of undesirable people lurking around at all hours of the night. This morning, as we were getting loaded up to leave, Our truck got broken into and a lot of stuff taken including my hearing aid equipment which is very expensive and all our clothes bags were taken. All my shoes, sunglasses, RX sunglasses etc, all my shoes. No camera to the sides of property only at front. No help with that! Made police report but will likely never see my thousands of equipment lost! Do not stay here. Pay a little more for a better area

The staff was nice, housekeeping was very good, I didn't get to try the breakfast as there was nothing left when I came down at 8:30. Still an hour to go, and nothing to choose from except waffle batter, so I wound up not utilizing the breakfast during the stay, I found it disappointing. Other than that, it was great!

We needed to stop for a night while traveling across the country. We have a dog, so, for one night the price was right and the pet fee do-able b/c of the low nightly price. The one critique we have is that the room smelled damp and dank. It had a strong odor, which was a bit all consuming. There seems to be a high level of humidity in the rooms, and the a/c doesn't seem to dry it out. But other than that, the bed was comfy, sheets were clean and the room seemed pretty clean. The breakfast was pretty sparse, no hot elements. But, we were just there to crash for the night.

A/c wasn’t cooling properly. But we didn’t ask for help or another room because we were outside all the time. Breakfast really needs more options. Fitness center is so small. But is ok if you’re looking for a clean and safe place to stay. It’s not bad, but it can improve.
