Great location. Close to tram stop to get us around the city. The down stairs bar had inexperience bar staff. No one new how to make cocktails or what drinks were. Using wrong ingredients, like putting lime cordial in a lemon, lime and bitters. Upstairs/rooftop bar closed. They only open that in January. Rooms were good. Would stay again only for location.

Fantastic hotel in Docklands. This hotel was very quiet with very little road noise at night. Staff were very friendly. Pool was nice and warm and the games room was a hit with the children. It was great to have a range of dining/snack/drinking options within the hotel. The only negative would be the cleanliness of the shower.

Hotel in general was amazing: great staff, gym, pool & function rooms for my post-competition banquet. Tram stop & The District shops literally right out the front. Walking distance to O’Brien Icehouse where my skating competition took place. Only let down was with the bathroom. Not many places to hang up bath towels, hand towels, pool towels or dry off wet swimwear. Finding room was tricky to come by. Other the that the room was gray & super comfortable.

Good location close to transport. Nice clean hotel and friendly staff. Great pool, steam room and spa but no pool towels. Even when requested and promised !!. Meant had to go down to reception and from room/pool dripping wet and use room towels Good breakfast and nice quiet room.

The hotel was very clean and all of the staff were very friendly. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The pool area was very nice. There is a tram stop right outside the hotel and the tram takes about 10 minutes into the CBD. Parking is offsite but was easy to use and convenient.

Bathroom was quite dirty, alot of mould in the shower, hair on the floor. Lack of hooks in bathroom to hang wet towels. Dusty in the room. Hallways looked quite dirty on the floor. We had to wait a long time on checkout day to pick up our bags as the had too little personnel working then couldn’t find our bags. We left 6 bags there and they had split them all so it was difficult to find.

The bathroom was a bit dirty. The buffet breakfast was terrible. We went down at 9.30 am and there was no food left and they didn’t restock. We were left eating the scrapings out of the fruit and yoghurt bowls.

Great area! Access to public transport on your doorstep, very safe area, loads of shops and activities, especially for kids. The staff were very helpful and polite. I noticed that that cupboards and draws were quit dirty and dusty needing a really good wipe. Marks on walls and cupboards would love some Jiff. Pool and spa on roof with view. Aside from small fixes, great value for money.

Checked in for two nights. Entering the bathroom, straight away the cleanliness was sub-standard. Long hairs in the shower and badly discolored grout. Hair on face washers and in the sink. Corners of the sink were poorly cleaned too. Only one bath towel in the room. I called up and spoke to someone to ask for an extra towel and told them the bathroom was not clean. They said they would send someone up. After an hour no one had come so my wife and I got dressed and went out for dinner and spoke to someone at the front desk. They sent someone to clean the room, but still left just one towel! The following day when they cleaned the room, they finally gave us a second towel!

AC in the room was horrible. I had to call 3times regarding it, each time being told to wait 15mins for the room to cool which I had. I was then room moved from King bed room to two Queen bed rooms. I was assured the AC in this room was working. I had the temperature set to 18degrees, I should have been freezing. It eventually did feel slightly cooler but it never was cold. I did mention this to reception after I was moved but I did not want to move again. I’m not sure if it was the AC in that whole hotel as the lobby didn’t feel cool either. Check in, was horrible she asked for my debit card I asked what she needed it for but I didn’t get much of a response. I wasn’t informed of the facilities in the hotel or that there was WIFI. She just seemed to want to be over and done with it. The girl that room moved me was lovely and very helpful. I did like that there were shops close by and the tram stop which is part of free city loop making it easier to get around.

This was a last minute booking due to airport cancellations. Relied on the reviews of other guests which were very positive. Arrived and check in easily. Rooms very spacious and well appointed. Nice and quiet. Some food options also nearby. Would definitely recommend.

We had a good stay, was very convenient to what we had on in the city.Parking was $32 at the district west carpark overnight.It was a 2min walk to the hotel. Was a very safe quiet area. District Docklands shopping centre was right across the rd.Very convenient. We had a corner king room, bed was comfortable, our room was very hot on the 14th floor, we couldnt work out the climate control,so just turned it off. Overall our stay was fine Was great to also have a bath to soak in.

Upgraded me to a room overlooking the 8th floor pool and the harbour. The room was so quiet, the bed super comfy and the service across the hotel was the best I've had in a long time. Will be back!

No seal on door meant that it howled like a train tunnel perhaps worse due to the hallway vent being outside the door. Bathroom sliding door was broken off it’s runner and obvious that had remained that way for significant time.

I booked a room with a king bed and paid upfront. When I wanted to check in, I was told that my room has been given to someone else because apparently I was too late. How can you be too late for your room if you have already paid upfront? So I had to take a room with two Queen beds although I was staying for 4 nights. I did not feel like I was being taken seriously from the reception. Also the gym is a joke, the only machine (tower) is broken and the dumbbels only reach up to 20kgs. The room was only cleaned once during my 4 night stay and only after I had to call reception multiple times.

I arrived at Reception after a tough day, and the staff could not have been more professional or kind. I had a lovely guy check me in, and a delightful girl at Checkout. Great staff make such a difference to the weary traveller, and I won’t forget how they made me feel. As for the rooms and everything else - wonderful!

Staff were very attentive and professional. The location was fantastic and opposite a large shopping complex with specialty shops, restaurants, cafes and a supermarket. It was also walking distance to numerous activities including ice-skating, exhibitions, cruises and a cinema. We will definitely be returning.

A big thank you to Alex at reception who was so helpful in making sure that we got another room and delivered the keys to us personally (the original room we had smelt of cigarettes). Rooms were clean and hotel has good facilities.

Broken bathroom door resulting in me being locked inside until maintenance arrived: room not ready for 3 hours after check-in and the elevator was slow (all the time) Where to get towels for the pool was confusing. Staff were very nice but seemed overworked due to under staffing.

A nice room with good amenities, it was quiet even though busy. Very close to shops and restaurants with new quay right around the corner. Breakfast is pricey at $35 a head, which i dont mind, what I do mind is empty food areas, overcooked scrambled eggs, cold food and dirty tables. We got a refund on breakfast but it wasnt great as id invited an outside prospect to join us. Staff were nice, areas were clean, bar is good with some decent beer on tap.

Staff were wonderful, very personable, genuine & positive. Room was a bit dated, stuffy though. Room service food was very disappointing & quite awful though. For the prices ($35-50 for mains) the room service chicken was white pale, tasteless & inedible. The breakfast at $25 p/p was appalling, very few options, not well cooked & really disappointing. We ordered Uber eats the 2nd night. Don’t think we’d go back.

I had a really pleasant stay overall. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the early check-in and late checkout at no extra cost was a great bonus. The room was very clean, with good amenities and a comfortable bed, and the coffee was excellent. The location is great if you’re staying in New Quay for a reason. It’s quiet (almost too quiet at times) and a little out of the city, but perfect if you’re looking to just relax. Room service and the buffet breakfast were basic and below average, but for the price and location the stay was decent so I’d be happy to stay again.
