Room size, layout and bed were amazing, Bathroom very small. Staff were awful. Very rude and unhelpful. We arrived at 6pm and saw that the restaurant was open until 9. When we got there at 8 we were then told there was no food because the restaurant was not open. There was no prior warning of this when we checked in, no one even bothered to mention the restaurant would be closed on a Friday evening (despite the hotel's own website boasting about its restaurant). We were then offered a room service menu (totally different to that of the restaurant) - which was basically a list of microwave meals, priced at 25 euros per meal. Very bad communication, no explanation and no apologies for this massive inconvenience. Compounded by the fact hotel is very far from anything, sitting on an industrial estate miles from anywhere.

Shuttle only runs every 45 min and is a 30 min ride because it's shared with 4 other hotels. There was only 1 person working at the reception desk, there were 4 people ahead of me but took 30 minutes before I was checked in. Clerk spoke broken English and zero Dutch ( which Is the major language in Belgium). The restaurant was understaffed so I had to wait 30 minutes for a table. After I finally ordered it took one hour to get my food. Terrible experience

Rooms are very nice and modern. The light controls are a bit tricky; they are in the a/c controller. I didn't try very hard, but I couldn't get the a/c turned on?? My bed was awesome, super comfy. The gym seemed ok; good cable machine. The sauna was small (3 ppl max) but excellent. I didn't try the steam room. I would defo return.
