Comfortable, clean rooms - ours was lower ground and while I didn’t pay for room with a view a bit more daylight would have been nice. Choice of two pools meant always able to find a seat and pool(in June) not crowded. Also nice to have beach so close while still easy walk into town

Hotel was in a fantastic location. Facilities were great and the staff were very friendly and informative about the local area. Would definitely go back. Only down side is that the pool opening time is at 11am which felt a little late.

This hotel is within walking distance to the port (15 min) & 10 min to the town center. Lovely pool & access to the sister hotel’s pool as well. The one caveat is that beach chairs are expensive (at 1/2 price 20€!! So the pool was the place I stayed at most of the time, then switched to the beach for shorter periods & just used my towel. The staff is absolutely the best: friendly, proactively helpful, kind, patient. Will return!

Beautiful hotel, very classy and clean. The option to use the pool, bar and restaurant at the sister hotel (Naxos Resort) next door was very handy. Beach just at the end of the road and discounted beach loungers (50%) if you told them you stayed at this hotel. Two options to walk into town/port from the hotel, one through the town and the other along the beach road, both lovely and similar time/distance at about 10/15 mins stroll. Loved Naxos for a chilled few days and wouldn’t hesitate to return to this hotel.

We had a really nice stay at Galaxy Hotel—clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you need. The location is excellent, right on the beach with half-price sunbeds and a private parking lot, which was a huge plus. Breakfast was great every morning, and the on-site restaurant was good we had lunch there a couple of times. The staff were very welcoming and helpful—they even checked us in an hour early, which we really appreciated. The only small downside was the WiFi in our room—it was pretty unstable at first. After mentioning it to the front desk, they did improve it, and it worked fine in all other parts of the hotel. Not a big issue overall since cell reception was strong. All in all, a great place to stay in Naxos. Would definitely recommend!

The hotel is walkable to town which was quite wonderful. It had free parking that was very convenient. It shares facilities with a next door resort so there are two beautiful pools to use. It’s a two minute walk to a delightful beach, which was swimmable and absolutely divine. And the staff were so lovely and helpful and generous. We checked out at 11 but our flight was at 5:30. They said to feel free to use the pool, and the pool shower until we left. Elena at the desk was superb, friendly and thoughtful and knowledgeable about the entire island. It was a wonderful stay

Nice property, walking distance to town for food and shopping. Location is really great. Breakfast was served in the sister resort next door, 1min walk, no big deal at all. Was a great breakfast with many options. Pool could be open longer into the evening. Room safe was old. Great mid priced hotel.

I stayed here in July with a friend. Our room was clean, well equipped, and had a balcony overlooking the pool. This hotel is well situated to walk to the beach (2 mins) where there are numerous options for beach clubs and chairs. You're also 5-10 mins walk to all of the great shops and restaurants in Naxos Town. There is a nice, large buffet breakfast, and the staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful (can book taxis, etc). My only small complaints are that the wifi is awful - inconsistent and slow - and the "Gym" is very old with extremely no frills 70s-era equipment. But both of these were of minimal issue since we were out most of the day on the beach or in the amazing restaurants! This hotel has everything you'd need to have a great base as you explore Naxos!

I stayed at the Galaxy Hotel in Naxos for 2 nights with my partner and we absolutely loved it. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade upon our arrival by the lovely staff at the front desk. The property was absolutely beautiful. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the bed/pillows were very comfortable! Breakfast was delicious as well with plenty of sweet and savoury options, all made fresh. The hotel was a short 10-15-minute walk from all the shops and restaurants we wanted to visit.

Wow. Perfect location. Pool and Beach out your door and an easy 5-10 minute walk to everything in town . Nice breakfast. Clean, modern and stylish room with a great view. Property well maintained and the staff couldn’t be nicer.

I really loved everything about this Galaxy! My only hang up was that the light switch to bathroom was not in the intuitive place. Spacious clean, wonderful shower, the view was incredible and the staff super helpful. I spilled curry on a brand new white shirt and I sent for laundry (18 euro). Returned to me in less than 24hrs in perfect condition and it smelled nice as well.

Rooms: has no hard soap , conditioner or shower gel !!!! The have only shampoo and a glass bottle of liquid soap (We ended up going to the close market to buy the conditioner and soap) I felt Probably the manger needs to attend few seminars on hotel management, meal presentation and how to improve simple things It is a shame such a peaceful property with excellent location was looked after this way

Staff were really lovely, hotel was spotlessly clean. A convenient walk into the centre but a lovely peaceful location which is what we wanted. Also next to the beach. We hope to come back sometime!

We had a nice stay here. The rooms are much smaller then the appear in the photos. If you are planning on having more then two people in the room they are tight. Grounds were great service also great and you couldn’t beat the location. Naxos is a great island.

Property is ideally situated within walking distance of shops and restaurants. It is located across the street from the beach. Warm and welcoming staff all around. Unfortunately however the wifi is very very weak, unless sitting in the lobby. Additionally, the bathroom and showers are in serious need of an upgrade. In all a very pleasant stay.

Booked a room with Pool & Sea View - Pool was in the distance behind a tree. You had to step out of your room into the garden and take a right to see the Sea. Called the front desk to inquire but they nonchalantly said "You do have a view sir" Reminded me of an old fawlty towers episode. That's not a view from your room if you have to go hunting for it. Also felt like a kids resort at disney. Kids screaming and playing everywhere.

Nice hotel in good location, within steps of the beach. Maria was the most wonderful hostess/concierge, helping us with any issues like where in town to find cheap luggage, arranging a car rental, etc. the hotel offers a laundry service for 20 euros for a generous sized bag. There were a few issues with a loose bathroom faucet, the laundry drying rack was broken. The breakfast was very good, but drinks at the hotel bar were overpriced and not good.

We had a really nice stay at Galaxy Hotel—clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you need. The location is excellent, right on the beach with half-price sunbeds and a private parking lot, which was a huge plus. Breakfast was great every morning, and the on-site restaurant was good we had lunch there a couple of times. The staff were very welcoming and helpful—they even checked us in an hour early, which we really appreciated. The only small downside was the WiFi in our room—it was pretty unstable at first. After mentioning it to the front desk, they did improve it, and it worked fine in all other parts of the hotel. Not a big issue overall since cell reception was strong. All in all, a great place to stay in Naxos. Would definitely recommend!

Where to start… this hotel advertises a/c but they DO NOT have it. There’s a thermostat on the wall that serves no purpose other than to make you think the ac will start to work. Rooms are SUPER small as well. The biggest complaint we have is with the staff. My infant daughter was sleeping and we had her white noise sound machine playing for her. Apparently the walls are super thin because other guests complained about the “noise” coming from our room. The hotel front desk attendant decided that it would be appropriate to WALK IN UNANNOUNCED at 10pm on me and my wife, both of us totally naked, to ask us to turn down the volume. No knocking or phone call before just walking into our room unannounced and turning on lights. I went to the desk obviously irate and this man backed up his actions for the next 20 minutes. Apparently this hotel thinks it is appropriate to walk in on their guests at all hours of the night, unannounced and uninvited. Avoid this shady place at all costs.

Excellent staff, location, etc. Eleni and Reina made us feel like family from the moment we walked in. They helped arrange everything we needed and offered great options for dining, beaches etc… we will be back again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Galaxy. The staff was friendly and helpful with directions and arranging a taxi to the ferry port on our departure. Our room was comfortable. The location is great. It’s less than a block to the beach and an easy walk to the town center for dining and shopping. We enjoyed the pool while we waited for our room to be ready. Breakfast was good and plentiful. We would definitely stay there again. This was actually our second time at the Hotel Galaxy. We liked it so much the first time, we came back.

The hotel is walkable to town which was quite wonderful. It had free parking that was very convenient. It shares facilities with a next door resort so there are two beautiful pools to use. It’s a two minute walk to a delightful beach, which was swimmable and absolutely divine. And the staff were so lovely and helpful and generous. We checked out at 11 but our flight was at 5:30. They said to feel free to use the pool, and the pool shower until we left. Elena at the desk was superb, friendly and thoughtful and knowledgeable about the entire island. It was a wonderful stay

Beautiful building very well maintained With excellent location close to the beach and nice restaurants 10 minutes walk to the town Very clean and spotless Customer service: Not the best/ not impressive The lady at the reception is little bit aggressive or have attitude issue towards people probably the way she approaches a customer is different House keeping: poor or almost nil They left the cups dirty and the bathroom as is Even the bed was nod done properly Breakfast: poor presentation Contains variety of options but all are from prepackaged or as if they were bought from a close super market Seating was limited and was made only for couples what a bout a group or family of 3or 4! Rooms: has no hard soap , conditioner or shower gel !!!! The have only shampoo and a glass bottle of liquid soap (We ended up going to the close market to buy the conditioner and soap) I felt Probably the manger needs to attend few seminars on hotel management, meal presentation and how to improve simple things It is a shame such a peaceful property with excellent location was looked after this way

Wow. Perfect location. Pool and Beach out your door and an easy 5-10 minute walk to everything in town . Nice breakfast. Clean, modern and stylish room with a great view. Property well maintained and the staff couldn’t be nicer.

The perfect spot in Naxos. The hotel was beautiful, clean, well located. Great view of the sunset at the beach just a 1 minute walk from the poolside. Beautiful pool and gardens. The location is great just outside of the hubbub of the town with lots of restaurants and little stores just a two minute walk away. The port area just a five minute walk away is also lovely. Go see the sunset at the Portara!

This hotel is within walking distance to the port (15 min) & 10 min to the town center. Lovely pool & access to the sister hotel’s pool as well. The one caveat is that beach chairs are expensive (at 1/2 price 20€!! So the pool was the place I stayed at most of the time, then switched to the beach for shorter periods & just used my towel. The staff is absolutely the best: friendly, proactively helpful, kind, patient. Will return!

Beautiful hotel, very classy and clean. The option to use the pool, bar and restaurant at the sister hotel (Naxos Resort) next door was very handy. Beach just at the end of the road and discounted beach loungers (50%) if you told them you stayed at this hotel. Two options to walk into town/port from the hotel, one through the town and the other along the beach road, both lovely and similar time/distance at about 10/15 mins stroll. Loved Naxos for a chilled few days and wouldn’t hesitate to return to this hotel.

Nice hotel in good location, within steps of the beach. Maria was the most wonderful hostess/concierge, helping us with any issues like where in town to find cheap luggage, arranging a car rental, etc. the hotel offers a laundry service for 20 euros for a generous sized bag. There were a few issues with a loose bathroom faucet, the laundry drying rack was broken. The breakfast was very good, but drinks at the hotel bar were overpriced and not good.

We loved The Galaxy hotel. It was relaxing,friendly with a beautiful pool and short walk to a gorgeous beach. The walk into Chora was also fun wonderful shops or a walk by the water. Either way this is a place I would come back to and wish we had booked a few more days. Also the breakfast was scrumptious.

This hotel has the nicest customer service and that’s what saved our stay! Our original hotel had a very bad sewage smell and the hotel doesn’t look like the pictures at all. It’s stuck in the past. Breakfast is very basic and could use more fresh item. However it is in proximity to the beach and parking is free and easy. Most importantly, the staff (Elaine) went above and beyond and ensured our stay was enjoyable. They switched us to their sister property which is much older but with a few renovated rooms and they gave us one of those. The rate was too high and the value is not there, but with the renovated room at least it didn’t hurt too much.
