Very nice and convenient hotel. They have a very nice gym as well. Only issue is that the lifts were very slow (and only 2 of the 3 elevators worked) and there was always a wait to go up or down. Breakfast was excellent and the food was wonderful.

The property has no good sparking and they are charging people to park. I was ticketed by the Lisbon due to parking there it reached by 9am. They ticketed me due to parking is free from 7pm to 9am.

One elevator damage, full of unsupervised young people shouting and running. At 8:30 making loud repairs so we can’t sleep. They had a ramp but is closed so you had to take your luggage through the stairs. Tv controls doesn’t work an excellent bath tub but doesn't work to take a bath tub terapias after a long day walking. Breakfast is good and train station is near the hotel. The hotel is really clean.

Hotel staff were amazing - very helpful, very accomodating. Location is great and price is right. Rooms are good, clean and very typical of Europe. Parking included which is very good for Lisbon. Minuses - air conditioning is ok as the building is old but the staff did bring up a fan which helped (there in August when it was very hot). Breakfast @ 15 Euros was pricey for what is was. Gym is a small room with aged equipment.

Pros: The lobby is gorgeous and the staff were really nice. Also, the air conditioning worked great and the bed was comfortable. Cons: At one point 2 out of 3 elevators were out of service, so there was a long wait. I could hear hall noise in my room and so was lucky not that many people passed by, I found a previous guest\'s used flossing device in the shower, there was 0 conditioner so it was fortunate I had brought my own, it was a whole project that took several minutes to get shampoo to come out of the bottle even though the bottle was reasonably full (poor design), the "city view" was of a sort of alley, and the room clearly hadn\'t been updated in decades and looked very dated.

No geral foi o problema que o hotel devido sua localização é muito requisitado logo o fluxo de gente e grande e ainda mais com Rock Rio Lisboa, o predio tem 3 elevadores mas dos 3 só 2 funcionava e teve dia que somente 1 funcionou, com fluxo grande imagina o caos que ficava, fiquei 1 semana o elevador que estava quebrado, terminou a minha estadia o elevador ainda estava quebrado.

I liked my stay at this property, the highlight for me was their breakfast buffet, so diverse and delicious one on the best ones I’ve had. I however have to complain about the smell on my floor (floor 9) which was horrible as it smelled like sewage and unfortunately as we associate scents with places and memories, our souvenir of this hotel is forever stained by that bad smell.

I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. Unfortunately, there was a strong smell of sewage in my room, especially in bathroom. I told the front desk about the issue. Someone was sent to my room with air freshener which masked the smell for only a couple of hours.

The reception area looks nice and people were corteous. The bathrooms are clean, although small. The hotel needs serious renovations. The lobby will deceive you as it looks modern and elegant, but the rooms are old and extremely small. The halls smell of humidity and look dark. The beds are small and uncomfortable. One of the sheets had a blood stain that we did not notice until we removed the duvet cover. The feather illows stunk of vomit.The air conditioner did not lower the temperature enough. It stayed uncomfortably warm during the stay. The location is away from city center. It is NOT within walking distance. Metro stations are fairly close, though. I would not consider staying there again.

Hotel is in nice area. Close to station to catch Sintra train or metro. The major problem was the size of the room and size of the bed. We had two carry on bags and the room is so small to even put them out of the way. The bed was supposed to be double but at best it was a smaller than the full size bed. I understand that hotel rooms are typically smaller in Europe than the US, but this is probably the smallest room and bed that I have ever been too. Not worth the price. Just to give you an idea of how small the room is, the distance between the bed and the table against the wall, you have to walk sideways to get from one side of the bed to the other side. Oh, BTW, the bathroom was also so small that you have to be careful to not to hit your knee against the bidet as you sit on the toilet.

Holiday Inn Lisbon Continental is near to the airport and conveniently located if staying near to airport is the priority. This also means it is away from the city centre and need cab/bus to reach to city centre. The breakfast provided is basic but the staff is attentive and happy to help. The air-condition in the room was average and we had struggle during the heatwave in Lisbon. Overall, we had a good time with standard quality of Holiday Inn.

Booked 2 rooms and stayed 4 nights. If you want a room with air conditioning that is cold then this is NOT for you. The room is very warm that we did not slept well. The lobby is colder than our rooms. We could have slept in the lobby. We complained and we were moved to another room but still the same the temperature is very warm even though we asked for 15C. We asked for electric fan lol. Also we asked to be moved because there was a leak in the bathroom ceiling. All my complaints were recorded by the front desk staff. There was a lady in the front desk that was rude. I just forget to get her name.

The room is old. AC thermostat is very old manual and not digital. King size bed sunk when you sleep on it. Lamp shades all over the room to make it brighter to see. Hotel room is outdated. Flooring squeaks when u walk on it.

A great stay. The staff makes this hotel exceptional. They are very friendly and they go above and beyond. Ruben helped with picture taking and getting us a fan and leaving a handwritten note to wish my husband happy birthday. Joao and Diogo helped with places to go and Joao had a sense of humor with getting a water gun and playing with my husband whose birthday it was. Tiago and Luis helped with checking us in and getting us extra towels. We would definitely stay here again because of them.

During check-in (not early) our room was not ready. We didn't mind waiting but the manager on duty was very unhelpful and quite unfriendly. He also spoke to other staff members with a nasty and condescending tone which I find very tacky. When up in our room, our window was jammed. We went down 3 times to ask about it and he told us every time that he would send someone up to help but never did : ( Otherwise it was a clean and lovely hotel. Customer service has significant room for improvement though.

Ordered eggs and yogurt for breakfast room service and received the continental breakfast as well. Told that was the only way I could get room service. All or nothing. Charged for both. What I ordered and for the continental breakfast. Front desk would not correct my charge. Very disappointed

This hotel is located in a very convenient location. Close shops, dining, train station. And not too far from airport. Something I was not please with, is that the cleaning staff knocked once and then open the door. They did it twice to us. They didn’t give me time to get to the door. Feels very invasive and inpatient.

Very nice hotel. Breakfast is phenomenal. Campo pequeno metro stop on yellow line is 1.5 blocks away. Do yourself a favor amd stay at this hotel and just ride the metro to get into the historic section. Also train to Sintra only 3 blocks away.

Great place to stay. The hotel is very clean. Breakfast is excellent. Our room had a king size bed and plenty of space . The hotel is located away from a touristy areas/ 15 min driving. 5 min Walk to a metro station. I would highly recommend this hotel if you do not want to stay in the touristy areas

Overall we had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Lisbon Continental. Clean, comfortable, easy to find and super convenient for travel. Only a 10 minute walk to the Metro Line to downtown/ airport, or the Train to Sintra. Dining options in the area are a bit limited, but suited our needs. The breakfast buffet was good and well worth paying the lower up-front cost with one exception, on our last day we needed to leave early to the airport so we ordered a 'breakfast box' which was NOT worth it. It included an apple, juice, water and a very plain sandwich with literally just a slice of cheese (no butter or mayo or anything else). We had actually asked for 'no' cheese with one box. Obviously someone misunderstood our request. So this was a let down at the end of our trip, but a minor blip in the big picture. Also one of the elevators was not working while we were there, and one day, two were out of order which was a pain. But these are temporary issues. Despite all this, we would stay here again for sure.

Lors du checkout, mes breakfast box n’avaient pas été préparé. Un agent de sécurité est allé nous préparer des sandwichs au fromage sans beurre, avec un jus d’orange en boîte et une pomme.
