We could not have found a better place in Lisbon! Centrally located, incredibly friendly staff, and large rooms. The breakfast was lovely and with a large variety of hot and cold items and pastries. In the afternoon, the hotel had complimentary port wine, coffee, water, and Ginjinha available for guests in the cozy, warm bar area. The staff went out of their way to help you and remember their guests. We can not wait to return!

Mooie kamer, schoon, rustige omgeving ,vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Diverse eet gelegenheden in de omgeving Ontbijt erg lekker en vers. Lange ontbijt mogelijkheid tot 12.00 uur, happy hour tot 21.00 uur. Dit maakt het hotel anders dan de anderen. Wij zullen zeker terug komen.

Beautiful art deco hotel. Room was huge and immaculately presented. Champagne on arrival along with complimentary port in room on was a lovely bonus. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Gostei da estadia como um todo. O hotel é novo, a localização é central e estratégica, o staff é muito atencioso, as instalaçoes sao novas e o café da manha é muito bom. A limpeza deixou um pouquinho a desejar, porque em um dos dias foram deixados copos e talheres sujos no quarto.

The room I booked through Expedia was 16(61 degrees Fahrenheit) it was oddly configured with a small vestibule with 2 chairs and a small old tv. It and the bath(old, broken marble) were not heated. The main bedroom was just painted beige, large and cold. It had apparently not yet been renovated or fully furnished. It took me3 trips downstairs before the hotel moved me to another room. I don’t recommend it. The hotel is cold, beige, and not yet ready for prime time

The hotel itself is in an ideal location with just around corner from the shopping district. All staff we encountered are very attentive, friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble and they packed us decent breakfast for our early departure on the check out date. Rooms and all areas are very clean. Complimentary tea/coffee and cakes pre-dinner is a bonus as most restaurants are not serving evening meals until 7pm. Highly recommended - a great hotel at reasonable price.

This is a truly amazing hotel. We had a room with a terrace which was fantastic. The hotel is situated in a central location. The complimentary port made us feel special. The rooms were amongst the cleanest i have stayed in and the breakfast was excellent with a good choice of pastries, hot food and a range of ham and cheeses. Overall I cannot fault this hotel. Lovely staff and ambience. It was a shame there was a lot of building work going on opposite but that cannot be helped. We would definitely stay again.

This was the best hotel room I have stayed in. The staff was very helpful and the room had all of the amenities you could want including heated towel racks, a bidet, two decks, a separate room/study with a sofa and second TV and a great breakfast.

We had a lovely one night stay. They upgraded our room to a huge suite which was fabulous with 2 different balconies. The staff was super attentive and nice. Breakfast was great and the location of the hotel was fantastic. The only thing to mention is that the hotel could use some updating. It is an art deco hotel so it is expected to be historic, but still could use some small refreshes. All and all a wonderful stay and would recommend

Lovely,friendly,polite,helpful staff,lovely Molton brown toiletries,nice bedding,towels,comfy bed,in room tea and coffee,port,but safe needs to be updated to digital and more tv channels available,ŵe could hear neighbours talking and showering next door,above,which was annoying. some restaurants nearby to eat in and Aldi for anything you forget to pack. lovely breakfast,plenty of choice of cold items and a few hot choices,juices,tea,coffee,pastries,port,tea and coffee from 5pm welcomed,after sightseeing. Lovely area with sofas for relaxing in off lobby. A good 25 minute walk to the waterfront and main shopping area with bars/restaurants,up a slight incline,but quiet area,which we would rather have.

A lovely stay overall but some minor improvements could be made e.g. room could do with some uplift. Staff were great, very helpful and attentive. Location was very convenient and even a basic room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed. Would stay here again.

First of all, I have to thank the hotel for letting me check in many hours before the regular checkin time, after my flight arrived very early in Lisbon. Secondly, I must thank Lorissa and Vitor who provided excellent customer service and made me feel very welcome at the hotel. I also would like to thank the hotel for their hospitality when they provided a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and port wine. The hotel is very clean and my guest room was very large. The breakfast buffet has a very large variety (was very impressed with the variety of breads) of things that would satisfy vegan, vegetarian or non-vegetarian people alike. The hotel is around 10-15 minutes walk from the places where most activity happens and that is just fine!

Absolutely fabulous hotel just off the main shopping street. Quiet and safe. We stopped in a Junior Suite which was very comfortable. Nice bar, great breakfast but really it was the staff who made our holiday so memorable. They not only got the big details right but the small ones as well. We can't think that we have stopped at a better hotel - would highly recommend.

The front desk staff was excellent, they were helpful and they made reservations for us. The breakfast staff was also amazing, they made cook to order food for my wife, who is lactose intolerant. The room itself was also amazing, and it included port wine that was refilled every day.

Simply one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in in a long time with a mix of old world charm, great location, wonderful staff and concierge, especially Larissa. The buffet breakfast was amazing and location was incredible. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Portugal.

This hotel was a delight. We stayed in a beautiful suite with a double balcony, sizable bathroom, comfortable bed, and sitting area. It is a block off a "ritzy" street where many of the world's top brands are located and only half a block from the metro line, making the location convenient; although do note, that it is not near many of the charming areas, such as Alfama, but it is quite easy to walk and take public transportation. Breakfast was European continental that also included great scrambled eggs (add the dried basil yum) and sauteed veggies. The real standout of this hotel is its delightful concierge, which was helpful on a number of fronts - maps, train schedules, restaurant recommendations. Obrigada! We also met a couple who informed us that after many visits to Lisbon that Britania is their favorite hotel, so apparently we did choose well!

Overall great stay. Staff is so kind and attentive. Breakfast was average but again the staff made the stay. The property is a bit outdated but i think that’s the vibe of the place. I would recommend this also because of location. I could often walk and didn’t have to pay for an Uber. A lot of unhoused folks around which isn’t uncommon in a city. Would stay again.
