great location but there was a cproblem with rhe elevators. The day wew were leaving one elevator was not working and other would otstop on our floor.One of the staff saw us struggling with our bags and carried them.down for us!

Good location They need both elevators working at all times. And the ice machine is too small. They need a much better/bigger ice machine

No tea or coffee in room just fruit teas. 2lifts but 1 out of order, meant waiting as hotel busy and often full. Breakfast ok but seating difficult as when sat on the long shared tables meant getting up to let people pass to go to buffet catering. Location great , easy access to metro and quality shops.

Really nice old building. Small elevator and only goes up to the 4th floor so of you have lots of luggage you may want to stay lower.

Fantastic area and location, and the lounge area and gym on the lower level are not to be missed. Room and hotel were generally musty and dated. Area is fantastic, but you can hear noise generally through the floors. Wifi was spotty at best

The hotel was very well placed and easy to use as a base for the exploration of Lisbon and the attractions available. However what would have been even better would be the availability of an in hotel bar providing drinks and refreshments.

Room 102 is large, spacious, and faces out toward the main street. There a floor to ceiling wardrobe with a safe for valuables, and a mini fridge. The bathroom has a stand-up shower with toilet and bidet, however there's no lock on the bathroom door which our only gripe. It could also use a few more hooks to hang towels, but it was very clean. Despite facing the front, the main street quieted down during the night so you shouldn't be disturbed by any noise while asleep and there are blackout curtains if you want to sleep in. The location was right in the middle of everything with shops, convenience stores, bakeries, etc within seconds of walking. And generally in the early evening/late afternoon you can catch sidewalk performers from your view. We opened the windows to enjoy listening to the saxophone performer. There's an ice machine on the first floor, but it's not a large dispenser, it's a personal ice machine. Doesn't seem like a lot of people know about it since it was full of ice when we needed. But a large water bottle take up most of the ice and you'd have to wait for it to make more. Also, if you need to get around further, the metro station is also seconds away. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Excellent lobby. Lots of gathering space in the main areas. Lots of potential. Lots of wasted space. Odd smell. Very poor maintenance. Lots of easily fixable problems.

Quarto simples muito diferente da foto que aparece no aplicativo e cama também ruim. Sem a menor estrutura. Nenhum bar, nem para pegarmos uma água gelada. No quarto também nenhum copo de vidro. Pedimos um copo para tomarmos um vinho e o hotel não tinha e nem talheres. No andar térreo até tem uma área legal para se fazer um Happy hour mas sem condições, pois não fornecem nem um copo se quer. Enfim, hotel que não voltarei.

Une forte odeur dégoût vous accueille à l'ouverture de la porte de votre chambre... ascenseur trop petit par rapport au nombre de chambres et d'étages surtout lorsque l'un des deux est en panne !

The room was not at all what it looks like in the picture. The walls are paper thin, I could hear my neighbor snore and fart. They claim to have WiFi but it was always stuck on one bar or went off. The blankets sheets and towels were supposedly clean but were dingy, smelly and obvious makeup stains. There was mold in the shower and the sink was oddly shaped, hard to brush teeth and face. The good thing was their breakfast was quite decent and i liked the location, but also not soundproof so just a thought for light sleepers

It's a great area for shopping and dining. Very convenient for walking, the atmosphere is festive, which I really like. However, the hotel could be cleaner.

There were cockroaches in the bathroom; I complained twice with the front desk. I wrongly paid upfront, tried to move to other hotel. there were plenty around the area and cheaper of what I have paid per night (250 euros), they told me that can't refunded. The room is completely outdated; it looks like I traveled back to the 80's. No remote control for the TV. Extremely disappointed.

Location of the property is really good. 1 min from metro station. Walkable to many attractions. Property cleaniness is pretty good except for some sewage smell in the late afternoon/evening around the lobby area. Overall the location of the property is unbeatable.

O hotel, em linhas gerais, é espaçoso. O quarto 316, onde ficamos, era grande, banheiro também espaçoso. Contudo, há um cheiro forte de esgoto no quarto e a cabaceira da cama tem um tecido que nos causou alergia. O hotel é antigo, mas passou por reformas. O café da manhã é servido com uma variedade de alimentos e de frutas. O salão onde esse pequeno almoço ocorre é muito pomposo.

Hotel bem localizado, a limpeza deixou um pouco a desejar…. Mas queria reclamar mesmo é da Internet, no quarto em que ficamos an internet era horrível e não funcionava! O hotel precisa verificar isso e melhorar esse serviço de internet

Easy access to everything. Staff was nice and helpful. The property is outdated and the showers had a little mold. The bed was extremely hard. Please consider updating the hallway carpets and mirrors.

Very old rooms. Our shower was moldy, our son’s room smelled or sewage and they had to move. The ceiling in our room was angled and my husband hit his head. Great area but choose another hotel.

Bathroom super small & dingy, room had a low sloped ceiling, very dangerous & inconvenient, banged our heads multiple times. Unfriendly front desk staffs.

Good hotel, great location! But the bathroom in our room was a disaster! The worst bathroom ever! So small, so inconvenient, so uncomfortable! Really bad. We was at the 5 floor.

Perfect location in central Chiado. We had a corner room overlooking the street and near the square which was large and very nice.

Cool vibe in the back of the hotel. There were multiple things broken in the room when I arrived (toilet seat, door to balcony, mattress springs were sunken). In the bathroom- soap dispenser was in the shower and the shampoo was at the sink. Everyone was nice and the hotel was conveniently located. For one night it was fine.

This hotel is right in the middle of things, close to the water, shopping, and lots of dining options! The hotel itself could use some investment, as things were pretty run down. We also couldn’t find plugs in our room until we moved furniture, which was a pain. Overall, excellent location, okay amenities.

The best location in Town and we enjoyed the view of the square. But you can hear everything from the people in the hall to the rooms beside, below and up. Sometimes we were unsure if there was somebody using our bathroom- it sure sounded like that. The reception staff never greeted us when we came or left during the day. A simple acknowledgement would have been nice, but they gave no attention to their guests at all. The room was okay. Would have been nice with a sitting area, but I guess that depends on the type of room. The sliding door to the bathroom was very difficult to close and was extremely noisy.

Regresamos a este hotel porque estuvimos hospedados allí previo a la pandemia, pero esta vez nos dieron una habitación muy pequeña con cama muy pequeña. Hubo mucha bulla de las habitaciones continuas y en el segundo día, no hubo agua caliente. Detesto las puertas transparentes de los baños. Realmente son muy molestas. El hotel está muy bien ubicado.

Room and overall hotel was lovely. Most comfortable bed we’ve ever stayed in and situated in a good area. There are two things to mention; one is that the breakfast is a bit hectic. The tables are long and you have to share with random guests, my glass had lipstick remnants on and the turkey bacon was worse than the treats i feed my dog. But there are lots of options to eat. The second thing to mention is that if you choose a Chiado square view room, it will be noisy. It’s full of busy all the time and the busker with the frizzy hair and guitar was ear bleeding awful late into the night - not the hotels fault but something to bear in mind. We would stay here again though.

The quadruple room we had was absolutely dismal- 2 single beds in a stuffy corridor, with a window opening into the air conditioning corral!

Foi uma péssima experiência. A Internet no quarto não funciona direito e ninguém resolveu. O staff da recepção era mal educado em sua maioria. O café da manhã parece de refeitório - muito ruim. Até o roupão no quarto estava rasgado. A única coisa boa é a localização. Não recomendo.

Funcionários atenciosos, quarto de tamanho e qualidade excelente. Ótima localização. Voltaria a me hospedar com certeza.

All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They assisted us with any queries we had. The hotel is in the perfect location, right in the heart of Chiado, and next to a train station that brings you all across Lisbon!

O atendimento na recepção foi péssimo . Estávamos em viagem de família . Reservamos dois quartos , mas nenhum deles correspondiam as fotos que tinha no anúncio . Nem o tamanho era igual . E o gerente foi muito grosseiro . Não recomendamos .

Extremely poor customer service. I forgot something in the room I stayed in and called the hotel. Twice the person picked up the phone and hung up on me. Third time she picked up and shouted to call back in 5 minutes. When I called back, no one picked up (and I tried calling back up to 30 minutes after with no luck). The location of the hotel was good but with rude staff like that, I will definitely be going somewhere else next time I am in Lisbon.

A hospitalidade da equipe de staff deixou a desejar. Chegar à noite com duas crianças dormindo no colo e 2 funcionários no balcão ao celular e nem para segurar a porta e ou chamar o elevador, é de uma falta de empatia!!! Você pedir uma água no quarto e eles falarem q não tinha ninguém para ir levar que teria que buscar e ter novamente 2 funcionários no balcão ao celular, é falta de proatividade e gentileza. Chegar no quarto e ver que tem toalhas faltando, avisar e solicitar e ao voltar continuar sem as toalhas, é falta de comprometimento. Não adianta só sorrir atrás do balcão, tem que ter ATITUDE!!!

Very helpful staff, found us a room at 10 am much needed after all night flight. Room smaller than one pictured when booked but grateful for the early check in. Hotel nicely appointed. We will definitely come back.

Check in staff was very inexperienced. Ordered car service and breakfast to go for early morning departure. Staff said arrangements would be made. Unfortunately arrangements were made for the wrong day. Thankfully overnight/early morning team were able to make transportation arrangements in time for our flights.

Room was clean and quiet. But small with limited toiletries. Front desk staff were not very friendly and seems at best to be indifferent.

Beautiful property right next to the Baixa-Chiado metro stop. Comfortable, clean rooms, centric location and excellent price. Would highly recommend.

The hotel is a typical European hotel. Simple amenities, good location, a very nice dining room for breakfast, clean rooms. The location is loud because of the location, but the windows were soundproof.

The only advantage is the location. But, it is too noisy outside until 3am on weekend. Hotel room really need renovation.

Great location - very central to historic Lisbon, opposite Baixa-Chiado metro station, 20/25 mins from airport. All the restaurants, touristic spots nearby. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Overall the rooms were clean.

The hotel is in a very touristic area with restaurants and shops. There are two beautiful churches steps away. The location is very central and busy. Our room was a family room with 4 beds with plenty of space. The room was beautifully decorated and it had two balconies overlooking the Main Street. If you’re sensitive to noise then bring earplugs because the noise from outside doesn’t stop until 4am. I would stay here again.

The location was unbeatable. It is steps from the metro. And always easy to get Bolt at this location.

Location is exceptional - close to several historical sites, restaurants and stores. Breakfast buffet was very good. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms and hotel clean and safe. Two historic restaurants have terrance areas adjacent to the front door.

Enttäuschend. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein und beengt. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit im Bad ein Handtuch aufzuhängen. Schränke, vermutlich neu, mit sehr starkem unangenehmen Geruch, da möchte man seine Sachen nicht reinlegen/aufhängen. Kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten. Das Frühstück kann man sich sparen. Man hat nur die Möglichkeit an 8er Tischen zu sitzen. Die Tischdecken waren schmutzig und knitterig. Die Auswahl klein und sehr einfach. Alles abgepackt und nicht lecker. Das angebotene Trinkwasser schmeckte nach Chlor, nicht trinkbar. Wir haben dann lieber auf das bezahlte Frühstück verzichtet. Es gibt genug andere leckere Möglichkeiten. Es war leider auch nicht möglich, sich einen Kugelschreiber an der Rezeption zu leihen, dort gab es nur einen. Fazit: 1-2 Nächte mit kleinem Gepäck und ohne Frühstück machbar.

Best breakfast and coffee and a huge comfortable bed. Loved the hotel.

Rommet bra, men bad og toalett for trange, fikk bl.a. ikke igjen dusjdør etter å ha gått inn i dusjen. Frokost kaos og dårlig, bl.a. speilegg med grønnskjær. Dårligste pastel de nata jeg noen gang har smakt. Skrankepersonale hyggelige.

Atendimento da equipe da recepção muito boa e muito atenciosos. Quartos grandes, confortáveis e limpos. Localização perfeita. Na mesma calçada da estação do metro. Café da manhã tumultuado com serviço precário. Mas recomendo esse hotel.
