Thon Hotel Bergen Airport

Meget hyggelig personal. Ganske enkel men meget god frokost. Rommet var stort og komfortabelt, deilig seng. Treningsrom! Dette satte jeg stor pris på - og her kommer det eneste negative jeg har å si om oppholdet: De burde få fikset ventilasjonen i underetasjen hvor treningsfasilitetene er.

Hadde et fint opphold. Stille om natten. Et greit treningrom og god frokost. Gode parkeringsmuligheter. God verdi for pengene.

Great comfortable hotel, large room with and excellent breakfast with huge selection included. We were able to use a washing machine on site, there is a gym & sauna, squash court. Very close walk to a shopping centre and close to the airport. Taxi or bus to the main Bergen area

Vi har bodd her mange ganger, og kommer gjerne tilbake. Flotte rom med alt vi trenger, topp frokost. Vi liker spesielt gratis parkering, nå også med ladestasjoner for elbil, samt enkel adkomst til Bergen sentrum med bybanen. Det eneste som er litt kjedelig er de høye bordene og stolene i resepsjonens fellesområde, de er ubehagelige og inviterer ikke til rolig avslapning med f.eks. et glass vin fra baren.

Our room was nice, clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was newer and nice. The breakfast was really good-lots of food and great variety. The coffee was not good. It was great to have a washer and dryer. Too bad there weren't at least two of each. Also there needs to be better instructions for the dryer posted on the wall. The filter needs to be cleaned and the water emptied out or your dryer is not going to last very long.

Bra rom og stille. Treningsrommet er helt greit, men kunne kanskje oppgraderes litt. Fin frokost på morgenen.

Fitness center was not up to date with equipments.

Frokosten er kjempebra. Rommet rent og senga god. Bra med lademuligheter for elbil.

This hotel is clean, quiet and comfortable. Perfect for 1 night before a flight home. We used the gym which was excellent. There is a gas station and fast food options within a quick walk. Breakfast was included and was great. The parking was also free which was nice

Die Zimmer sind gut und geräumig ausgestattet. Parkplätze und sogar etliche Ladesäulen für E-Autos sind vorhanden. Im Restaurant kann man auch zu Abendessen. Preislich für norwegische Verhältnisse völlig okay. Geschmacklich auch super. Das Frühstück war das beste Frühstück, was wir auf unserer Norwegen-Reise hatten. Alles da was man so mag.

Iskaldt bad uten egen termostat. Flekkete laken. Tidlig-frokost (kl. 04-06) hadde kl. 05:30 pinntørre brødskiver og svett hvitost. Pluss for gratis parkering og stort rom. Greit nok hotell, men hadde forventet mye bedre for 2300 kr for 1 person.

Room was clean & staff courteous & breakfast was very good. The only issue we had was the name of the hotel including 'airport' which made us believe, when booking it, that it was close enough to the airport to have some sort of transport arrangement to it. As far as we could see it is the furthest hotel away from the airport that purports to be close to it. We were a little disappointed to find that we had a 5-10 min walk with our suitcases, including downstairs, to the light rail and then to the airport. Admittedly on checking their details online there was no mention of a shuttle bus but there was also nothing to say how their customers could get to the airport. Strongly recommend that there should be!

Rommet vårt ble ikke rengjort på søndag 01.05.22.. Ingen ting var gjort/rørt i den perioden vi var bort fra kl 10.00 om formiddagen til kl 23.00 om kvelden. Bordet i spisesalen til frokost var ikke tørket av tiltross for at det lå nytt bestikk klart

Prima hotel, erg schoon en netjes met een uitstekend ontbijt.

The room was VERY VERY SMALL...i had a very difficult time with the smell of bed linens including pillows...it may be the laundry detergent used, whatever it was was overwhelming and permeated the entire room. It was simply unpleasant...disappointed ..plus the chairs were hard as a rock..uncomfortable is an understatement

We booked the Thon Hotel Bergen Airport for its location near the airport, but it proved to be one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in during our years of travel in Europe. We booked two rooms for two nights. The rooms were nicely furnished in a tasteful, modern style, and they were beautifully maintained. Please convey my compliments to the housekeeping staff! There were some nice touches in the rooms, such as umbrellas and shoe horns: perhaps these were small details,but they reflected the service-oriented focus of the management.The bathroom was modern, efficient, and spotlessly clean. There were plenty of light sources in the room, which is not always true of hotel rooms.The breakfast buffet was the most impressive breakfast we had ever had in a hotel: nothing was missing from the menu,and the food was absolutely delicious. All of the staff members of the hotel, specifically including the dining room, were professional, efficient, and genuinely friendly: whenever I asked for information or assistance, it was as if there was nothing in the world that they would rather be doing than attending to my needs. Ruben at the front desk was especially helpful and courteous.Thon Hotel Bergen Airport could be used as a textbook example of how a superior hotel should be designed, managed, and operated. My family and I enjoyed our visit to your hotel immensely. My thanks and compliments to the entire staff of your hotel!

Hotel seemed a little worn. There was an overwhelming flowery smell when walking in. Even with the limited dining/ meal option, the sirloin steak was the best I have had in along time. Rich in flavor and so tender could cut with a butter knife.

Hotel de bon standing, bien situé à 5 min de l'aéroport mais l'on entend pas les avions. Literie confortable, salle de bain "rétro" par contre point noir de la chambre : la ventilation centrale ne peut pas être contrôlée ce qui fait que l'on reçoit de l'air en direction du lit ce qui n'est pas souhaité. La demande de couverture supplémentaire a été respectée mais pas celle de chambre calme, nous avons pu changer heureusement. Par contre on nous a dit qu'on ne pourrait pas prendre nos pains de glace au freezer alors que le lendemain une autre personne à la réception nous a dit le contraire. Attention donc si vous en avez besoin pour le voyage. Le petit-déjeuner inclus est primé dans les classements et est bien.

The A/c was controlled by hotel mgt, no thermostats in individual rooms-horribly hot with one small window for outside air.

Directions to hotel from lite rail were confusing, had to backtrack one stop. Check in was fast and easy. Room was clean, quiet, functional. Downside was the pillows- too hard, too high, scratchy pillowcases. I ended up using the extra comforter as a pillow and finally got comfortable. The bed itself was quite nice. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious - I had the haddock special, fish and vegetables cooked to perfection. My waiter was great, attentive and personable. Breakfast was a full spread of good eats. For a quick stop, improved pillows would earn 5 star stay

Stayed here only 8 hrs as we had a very early flight. The guy at the desk was very impatient with me trying to figure out the room number he wrote. His 1s looked like 7s so I went to the wrong room and when I pointed out that his 1s looked like 7s he was very short and rude. The room was too warm with no way to regulate the temperature. They regulate the whole hotel from one thermostat. That made our short night a bit miserable.

The room was much too hot for my liking while sleeping. There is no thermostat that I could find. There was a busy road outside, so opening the window to cool off let in a lot of noise. Everything else was excellent and I liked the cheerful bright colored decor in the hallways.

Nice hotel. Farther from the airport than expected however, and much farther from town center. A 40 min tram to town and 40 min return trip stopping 18 times was not pleasant to do 1-2 times per day! Delicious breakfast was included.

Close to airport

We arrived at the hotel from the light-rail stop nearby, but accessing the property from the rail stop is difficult because the hotel sits high on a hill, and the entrance is in the rear of the hotel relative to the road. I would recommend a taxi if arriving from the nearby airport. An airport shuttle would have been a nice feature! The staff and the restaurant were excellent.

Super godt hotel tæt på lufthavn og Bybanen.

This "Airport Hotel" is a gruelling 2.3 km walk along a busy highway, following a difficult walk down a rough path with many steps, not conducive to luggage transporation! I have complained to the management, asking for at least a reimbursement of my taxi fare to the airport. I also intend to continue complaining to expedia.ca, i woul never have booked a room in this hotel, had i known how inconvenient it was!

if you don't want to pay big money for parking in city. the location is good choice. your can take train directly to central of Bergen. Good breakfast.

The bacon in the breakfast buffet gets way to little attention from the chef. Some of it is burnt and some is almost raw. Dont think its that much of a hazzle to stir it a couple of more times around while its in the oven. This has been the case on my last 3 visits to the hotel. Other then that its ok. Parking is nice and easy outside and nice personel.

Måtte spise frokost før den åpnet. Fikk derfor mat fra en matvogn som var laget til. Utrolig tørre skiver og veldig lite pålegg. Var og ikke nok drikke til mer en 1 person. Dette kunne absolutt vært bedre
