Lovely hotel within walking distance of all the main Copenhagen sights. Clean, cozy room as expected in the description. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bar prices were reasonable for a hotel. Breakfast was Ok and rather pricey. Our experience was better off getting something locally in a restaurant or cafe.

Excellent hotel in a quiet area on the waterfront and close to NyHavn for easy access to cafes/restaurants. Easily reached on foot from Kongens Nytorv metro we had no issue finding it on our arrival. On leaving, within 35 mins of checking out we had walked to the metro, travelled back to the airport, and checked in. The hotel and our room were very clean, and all the staff were extremely helpful with any question or request we ever had during our stay. Their policy is not to disturb you unless requested so you have to request a room tidy/towel change if you want one. We booked a compact room with balcony which was perfect for two for a short 4 day break, but there is a big ( 30-40cm) step up to the balcony from the room so bear that in mind when booking. There is enough space under the bed to store bags/suitcases so the room doesn't feel cramped. There's lots of hanging space but no drawers to place clothes in-only shelves. En-suite was perfectly fine We used our balcony for drinks every night and morning and it was very peaceful. The hotel provides an excellent (190 Kr) unlimited buffet breakfast with lots of choice from 6:30-10:30 (just turn up), we used it twice during our stay. There's a small bar near reception and we saw some guests using the table/seating area in the evening to eat food they had bought outside without any objection from staff. Hotel has bikes to hire at 150Kr/24hrs if you want to. Would happily stay here again without hesitation.

The second stay was improved because we upgraded to a suite at a higher cost. The staff was more helpful in hoping us solve issues. We were given rubber mats that allowed us to use the high bathtub and not fall, the bathroom was larger. We still had to put our lluggage on the floor to repack for the trip overseas. There was still a problem contacting the desk to get help with our luggage. This hotel is designed for young, strong travelers who do not have disabilities or need help.

We requested early arrival, we were not able to get a room early. We stored our luggage. When we were able to check in there was initially no one to help us with luggage. They found someone finally to help. The room was very small with nowhere to put our luggage except the floor. There was no air conditioning, There was a fan. The bathroom was also small with a steep tub we were not able to use for fear of falling. We used the hand shower from the outside. We were scheduled to return in 3 days and upgraded our room then to a suite that was the size of the room we expected initially at a much higher price.
