Centrally located. Plenty of activity, food, entertainment. Rent the bicycles (fun!). Worth paying for the onsite parking, just be sure to use the safety cones to save your spot lol.

This is a good hotel and I enjoyed my stay. Positives include a very good location next to the water and near Amalienborg Palace Nyhavn. Plus, a very pleasant and helpful staff at the front desk. Unfortunately it lacks a fitness room and the advantage of being on the water is nullified to some extent by their construction which shuts off direct access including being able to have a drink with a view of the water.

For the price, the hotel did not live up to standards. It is priced like a 6 star hotel, but service and small rooms are more like a 3 star hotel. Parking also expensive and limited spots available.

Friendly staff, room was nice with water view. Great area close to Kings residence to everything. Took their small boat tour and glad we did.

Excellent place to stay in CPH. Hotel was excellent. The bar on the canal front was super cozy and convenient for night-caps. Very happy with our stay!

Not impressed with the customer service for this hotel. A bland experience for such a high price for the stay. No water bottles available ar the room, the tiny bottles of soap, shampoo and conditioner were annoying and time consuming to use. Check-in was impersonal. The hotel is under renovation, which I was not informed at the time of booking. That’s disappointing because one of the reasons I picked this hotel was due to the location by the harbor. We couldn’t access it because of the renovation. I wouldn’t stay here again.

This property was in a great location - walking distance to everything we wanted to see. We were able to hire bikes on one of the days which were in great condition and the process was very easy. The lovely staff managed to get us a super early check in as we had just come off a long haul flight from Australia. The rooms were great and overall we were very impressed. We did not have breakfast as it looked as though the dining area was being renovated - it would be lovely to sit outside and eat once this is complete.

Nice Hotel with perfect location. Breakfast is fantastic and the new restaurant too. Cozy lounge/terrasse for coffee/drinks direct on the waterfront. Good service.

The nicest hotel I’ve been to. Clean, recently remodeled. My room had big exposed beams. Right on the harbor. Nice restaurant and bar. Best breakfast buffet ever. Staff was over the top nice. Take the boat tour with Luca!

This property has been remodeled and is in excellent condition. As I stayed in several hotels in Denmark during my 2 weeks I was dissapointed in this being the only one that charged for using their bicycles.

The room was spotless and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and the location was Incredibly central for seeing the city!

Badeværelset var fyldt med bananfluer. Saftyboxen virkede ikke. Skabslågerne kunne ikke åbnes. Sengen var ikke ren - virkede meget slidt. Ved udtjekning virkede IT ikke - der er efterfølgende hævet på mit kort - men jeg har ikke fået en kvittering eller faktura for det hævede beløb, til trods for flere henvendelser.

08/11/25 The location of the Admiral is great. It is situated on the Nyhavn waterfront, is close to a number of sites and very quiet. It was a great respite from some of the busy streets we saw during the day. There is ongoing construction going on but not noticeable. There is a new D.R. and the patio on the water is very nice. It would have been nice to have a larger seating area downstairs for guests. However, our overall rating is based specifically about a safety issue on our floor. Service: The reception desk staff is very friendly & attentive. We understand the cleaning staff has a very tough job. However, we are very tidy guests and left the room organized each day but it was obvious that housekeeping barely did cursory cleaning as a result. Condition of Room and Hallways: Our room was very spacious but the carpeting had stains and could have easily been cleaned. The hallway carpeting was also dire condition and should be replaced. Safety: We were situated on the top floor and we thought we were in a storage area. For some reason all of the linen carts were situated all along the hallway at night blocking the areas under the arches outside of rooms. We even had a large linen cart right in front of our door which could block a fast exit in care of an emergency. We knew the route to the elevators but didn’t see an exit sign where our room was. The lighting could be improved too. This is a safety & fire hazard and should be addressed immediately.

Loved our stay at the Admiral Hotel! The building has so much character with its historic charm, but the rooms are modern, comfy, and super clean. Perfect location—steps from Nyhavn and easy to walk everywhere. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was amazing. Would definitely stay here again!

Room was clean and comfortable.

Carpet was dirty and not vacuumed in one area. Refrigerator in room had leftover moldy blueberries left in it when I arrived.

Restaurant was rather expensive, but good food and extensive wine list. Harbour side rooms have a lovely view of harbour and opera house.

The hotel itself is nice. I paid for a waterview room. No a/c and no soundproof rooms. Its too warm outside to keep the window and noisy outside kept me up all night. I specifically booked this hotel because it advertised air conditioning. You should not false sdvertise this amenity.

Just returned from a three night stay at the admiral hotel. I was there with my two teenage sons. We stayed in a duplex room which slept three people very comfortably. The best part about this hotel is the location. It’s right on the water and it was a beautiful week in Copenhagen so everybody was out swimming and dancing right on the stairs leading down to the water. We can watch everything from our hotel room right outside. It can sometimes stay a little noisy at night, but it was nice hearing everyone staying out late. It probably would not be ideal for a person who has problems with steep stairs. We did not eat hereWe would definitely stay here again.

Great location with easy access to all the sightseeing areas. For such a luxury hotel, I would expect to have espresso machines or coffee machines but they only had instant coffee in the room. In addition, room said guarantee for checkin at 2 but we went to checked twice and room was ready after 3pm. As we had a long flight we just wanted to get to room and fresh up. Rooms all have big beams hanging low so need to consider the safety for senior people. My mom hit her head a few times.

Really beautiful hotel. I had a room right on the water and it was lovely. The hotel staff were kind and thoughtful. I would definitely stay here again. No brainer!!

The air and circulation was poor quality during my stay on business. It was very hot and the air conditioning did not really work. I had to sleep with the windows open, there was lots of noise outside and the allergies were bad. Sleeping with the window made all that worse. Not the most comfortable

Beautiful room facing water. However, beam at an angle that is dangerous in the dark — banged head. And sharp corners on bed caused problems too — had to rearrange furniture to avoid banging shins. Breakfast was too pricey. The room was comfortable. It was a bit of a walk to the metro. Overall, a good stay.

Tror det her er mit nye yndlings hotel i København. Det er et mega flot hotel også lidt dyr men har en rimelig pris i forhold til hvad man får. Det er et meget stilfuldt og hyggeligt hotel. Jeg sov på en af roof top værelserne i to etager og det var mega lækkert og hyggeligt og stilfuldt design. Man fik en lækker comfort som var cozy og sengen er en af de bedste jeg har lagt i på alle de hoteller jeg har været på. Kan klart anbefales

Sadly not what we expected. Staff very disorganised. Booked a room with waterside view but was over a building site. Given the hard sell to upgrade to a suite on arrival. Despite asking for information about facities at the hotel the receptionist was unhelpful. Corridor cluttered with laundry trolleys. Room was cramped very small space between the end of the bed and wall. We came to celebrate our anniversary but was disappointed by this hotel.

The decor of the hotel is nice and the rooms are nice. The cleaning of the rooms is not what I would expect, I would expect a more thorough clean and for an ironing board etc to be put away. Service in the bar/restaurant was terrible, you had to ask for menus, ask to be served, ask why a child’s portion of chips was taking 20 minutes when they were not busy. Standing around chatting or clearing tables when you have customers waiting and plenty of clean tables would not be my priority. Check in was fine, however no information was given about the city at all. Upon asking the front desk regarding recommendations for restaurants, they had none and googled options, which is not what I would expect from a hotel of this type. Would I stay here again, probably not for the price and the lack of customer service. We asked about hiring a bike with a child enclosed seat, to be told they had none, notwithstanding they were outside. The hotel seems geared up to more business/corporate guests or returning guests, which given it was my first solo trip with my 6 year it was dissapointing

I stayed here for three nights with my 13 year old son. I have always seen the „Admiral Hotel“ from outside and wanted to stay here because it looked amazing. A big minus is the service and the lack of courtesy of the staff. In a hotel (especially in this price range) I expect a friendly welcome and courteous staff. Instead, I am asked to check in online a few days before arrival. This must then be completed on site on the iPad. This did not work for us and we had to go to reception. Unfortunately, the lady was not very friendly. As a landlord of holiday properties, I know that a warm welcome can make a holiday so much more enjoyable. As a guest, you should always feel welcome. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The corridors are very cramped and there are laundry trolleys standing around everywhere, which gives a very untidy impression. The room was comfortable and clean. However, the value for money is not right in my opinion. We will not stay here again.

While this hotel is very nice, they added 500 dkk to my bill for no reason. I asked the hotel via their website to fix this billing and I plan on disputing it. There was much confusion as I added an additional night to my reservation but cannot figure out why they would overbill. I received 2 payments for a single additional night at their hotel. I don’t understand why add any additional charges since I didn’t use any other services. I hope the hotel will correct their error.

Staff was amazing! They were extremely helpful in recommending things to do and places to eat in the area. I would definitely recommend the Admiral Hotel and will use them on our next visit to Copenhagen!!

I am still waiting on a response from a large charge from the hotel that was added to my account without my approval. I sent several notice to the Admiral hotel staff and didn’t hear back from them. The charge is still pending and I plan to ensure Amex assists me in getting my money back as the hotel doesn’t seem to care. Unless the Admiral rectifies this issue I would warn other travelers that they may face significant additional charges from this hotel and need to be watching their accounts. I have traveled for more than 50 years and never had this issue while traveling. Again I hope the hotel will reverse this charge that was added without my approval.

Very comfortable, relaxing environment. A block away from nyhaven on the canal - perfect spot; convenient to most cultural sites. Would stay here again.

Fint hotell med utmärkt läge. Utsikt över hamnen och operahuset. Nära Nyhavn och slottet. Välj rum med sjöutsikt så är utsikten utmärkt. Dyr frukost. Hoppa den och köp kaffe och en croissant på stan. Lägg pengarna på smörrebröd och en pils lite senare på dagen. På sommaren går det att bada från piren nedanför hotellet. Uppfattar hotellet som exklusivt, vilket också påverkar priset.

Location, location, location. Right on the water and a stone’s throw from Nyhavn (but far enough away from the masses). First found the Admiral in 1993. Thirty-two years later, it’s even better!

The property is in an ideal central location with easy walks to so many sights, shops and restaurants. Also easy 25 minute walk across the city to places like Tivoli. A bit of construction noise out back but not bad.

Gorgeous hotel in a former harbor warehouse. Truly charming building, interior full of exposed wood. Clean and all basic services. My favorite…go for a swim in the harbor Rooms are a bit small, as are the windows since the building was, a warehouse. Rooms are crispy clean. Shampoo, soap and conditioner comes in miniature bottles, which feels wasteful and outdated. Shower is wonderful with rain shower and handheld options. My only negative impression was the restaurant. Fairly limited menu, inflexible substitute options and incredibly crass staff. I would stay here again, but I’ll never eat in the restaurant. The patio bar is amazing. Plenty of room and friendly and accommodating staff. The hotel would have been a 4-5 star experience had it not been how we were treated in the restaurant. And then, this was one of the few places that asked for tips. We had to select 0, as tipping isn’t a custom and the service and food was subpar. Nyhavn is footsteps away. Go eat there or in town instead. Hotel is expensive, the price does not quite reflect the experience, so that could be adjusted too.

Beautiful hotel building with character in the detail. Front desk staff were helpful, accommodating and personable. I was happy to accept the offer to upgrade to waterfront view, it was worth it for us. Location was easy to get to by motor transport or walking. Right on the water front wooden pier, with plenty to explore, see and do near-by. The rooms were beautiful, with adequate bedding. Beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were beautiful. There was construction going on out front, but it didn’t cause any disturbance. I wasn’t impressed with the service in the hotel bar, customers were left without service for far too long, and so we didn’t attempt the hotel restaurant, but this could’ve been a one-off. We chose to go out to eat and drink afterwards instead, so didn’t attempt to test that theory. I’d still recommend this hotel and would go back
