The location is perfect - right by the beach - and the view from our room was breathtaking. We had a park and water view and enjoyed waking up to the greenery and sea every day. In addition, the staff at the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. We had a water leak in our room due to an unusually strong rainstorm, and the staff had us settled in another room within half an hour. The other feature we enjoyed was the outdoor heated pool. Even though it was February, we loved going for a swim after a day of walking. The temperatures were around 15C but the pool was heated so perfectly, that (as Canadians :)) we found it warm enough to unwind after our daily excursions. Great stay!

Loved this hotel and the location is perfect. The best part is the rooftop bar and restaurant. We ate there every night because of the view and the food was delicious. The pool is not very big and it closes at 6pm which was a little disappointing. Also, there are very few chairs at the pool, but we didn't spend much time there. Nice is stunning.

Great hotel and conveniently located. Hotel is not on the beach but located across the street. The pool is very small and not a lot of space around it to sit or keep your belongings there. Has a beautiful restaurant and bar.

Handle on balcony door broken. Balcony only wide enough for you stand on. (No chair or table). Battery on the safe was dead so had to request replacement. Room regularly not cleaned / made up. Coffee mugs and water glasses not cleaned / replaced. Had to request four times for clean mugs by phone and visit reception before they were replaced. When requested booking a taxi to train station was advised 60€. A taxi in the taxi rank outside of hotel 20€. Pool only had approximately 12 deck chairs, 6 of those being cramped on the edge of the pool, so you had to squeeze in against the wall in order for people to try and pass without falling in the pool. Rooftop restaurant very disappointing service. Service very slow. We had received our food before our bottle of wine and we never did receive our water. Great location, but an extremely expensive hotel for quality of service.

You can’t beat the view from the ocean side rooms. The hotel is in a very central location between old town and beach. It was getting a (needed) exterior face lift and a casino was being constructed on the ground floor while there, but the inside was up to (or above) Marriott standards. Of note: The pool area is much smaller than it seems in the photos. Its like the original pool deck was usurped by the patio bar, which makes it weird and very cramped. But you’ll want to be at the beach anyhow.

Location is perfect. Walkable to all the main areas & across the street from the beach. Beautiful property. The pool could be bigger & wish there was umbrellas & more lounge area for the pool but overall enjoyed this hotel and had an amazing week here.

Excellent location with amazing views. The room was well designed, spotless and spacious. The breakfast buffet had a wide array of options, all of high quality, and was regularly replenished. The staff do a fabulous job at keeping every element of the stay at an exceptional level.

We came here end of February 2026. The staff was very friendly and whther it was entrance, reception, bar or anywhere else we were greeted with a smile and a "bonjour" or similar depending on time of day. The room was xlean whem we got there and room cleaning was food every day. They had a bit of rennovations going on one floor above us but its February and they seemed to be doing it mid day when we were going out anyways. This is a very nice hotel with friendly staff. Good reccomendation.

Die Dachterrasse, das freundliche Personal, das Frühstück ist super. Die Drinks an der Bar sind Top. Badezimmer war unsauber bei Ankunft, Wasser im Waschtisch lief nicht ab. Tür vom Zimmer war defekt. Kein Bett für unser Kind und nur 2 Handtücher bei 3 Personen.

I looked at a number of hotels, we were travelling with 2 children and my mother in law. I’m so glad we chose this hotel. Very clean, friendly , excellent breakfast and really helpful staff. Location is excellent, across the road from the beach and just a short walk to get a tram to the main station. Lovely restaurants and bars near by and lots of posh shops if you fancy that. Would definitely recommend.

Overall we enjoyed the property. The woman who checked us in was fluent in English, extremely friendly and helpful, offering tips on visiting Nice. The room was very nice, facing the promenade and beach. One caveat is that being right on the main promenade and busy road, the room is not quiet - not necessarily the fault of the hotel but something to consider if you are facing the Mediterranean. Also, there is limited space for storing clothing and toiletries, something that isn’t unique to this property but seems to be consistent with all hotels we have stayed at in France. On the negative, we had a poor experience in the dining room. About and hour before closing my wife and I sat down for dinner. The room was not busy and there were three servers working the area. One dropped my Pepsi when delivering it to me, spilling it on me, my clothes, and an empty chair - that itself was no big deal; it was how it was handled. First, when the sever returned with another Pepsi a couple of minutes later he had forgotten to remove the cap. Again, no big deal, but it took about 15 minutes to get anyone’s attention to open it. So, we sat there with an unopened Pepsi and at no time did anyone return to clean the mess, or offer to have my jacket cleaned. Similarly, it took about 15 minutes for several of us to get the attention of anyone to bring us the check. This level of service was unacceptable, especially for someplace charging 30 euros for a hamburger.

The room allocated for us was too small, room number 851 (not much space to move) especially for the seniors like usn 67 and 68 yrs old these was the only negative, but we're happy with the locations, very accessible to shops and restaurants. There was also no cuttleries like plates, spoon, fork and the daily suppy of milk were only two tiny container, it can't even change the colour of the coffee Thank you.

Großartige Aussicht. Der Balkon / Balkonmöbel sind allerdings in die Jahre gekommen und könnten erneuert / besser gepflegt werden. Störend war das Geräusch des Stühlerückens im über den executive Zimmern gelegenem Restaurant. Das ist bei Zimmern dieser Kategorie inakzeptabel und wurde auch nach mehreren Beschwerden nicht abgestellt. Hier sollte eine bessere Geräuschisolierung noch oben vorgenommen werden, oder etwaige Aufräumarbeiten nicht in den Abendstunden stattfinden, wenn die Gäste schlafen wollen. Auf dem Balkon fehlte ein Sonnenschirm.

Standard room was not really big enough for 3 beds My sons were cramped and not enough storage for 3 large boys Not too much of a problem as only stayed 2 nights However would pay more for a better room for them if staying again We had a deluxe sea view room for ourselves View was amazing Both rooms very clean However AC was next to useless and very loud Again we were staying early April so not that hot in Nice but would be an issue in hot summer months Not enough complimentary teabags supplied throughout stay Our deluxe room was not ready on arrival These are not complaints only critiques Hotel is in a great position on the Pronenade des Anglais Views from the front are amazing Roof top pool area very nice Rooms clean

Ikke verdt prisen. Bærer preg av å være gammelt, små rom. Vi hadde executive rom, fin balkong men utsikt rett mot leilighetsblokk. Skulle være city view, men da måtte du henge ut av balkongen for å se. Vannrør som gikk gjennom rommet laget mye lyd, nok til at vi ble vekket. Fin beliggenhet og bra frokost, men veldig dyrt. Så for 1000€ pr natt forventer man mer.

Stayed in a suite on the 9th floor. The noise from the restaurant patrons and especially employees moving chairs and tables late at night was terrible. I complained to the front desk, spoke with a manager and with the restaurant staff. I asked them not to drag tables across the floor at midnight. Nothing changed. One of our faucets was leaking and the maintenance guy said it would be fixed in the winter (!). Also periodically, there was foul sewer-like smell in the room and on the balcony. $1,600 per night room and we had to deal with all that. The only reason I am not giving it a “1” is that many staff members, especially the maids, were excellent. Very disappointing stay otherwise.

Rooms are very small but views of the ocean incredible from the front room. We had a room in the front with a balcony overlooking the coast. That was Fabulous. Room was not for the money. Two people could hardly move around in the room and with luggage and a wheelchair - forget it. Also, there is no elevator to the only restaurant and pool on the top floor so if you cant walk up two flights of stairs you are out of luck. Breakfast is very good and I can't say enough about the service from the Concierge. He was the best part of our stay and really saved our trip.

Location is very good. Right on the Prom. de Anglais beach road. Old town is 10 min walking away. Street restaurants in the back of the hotel. Good breakfast with good views of the Promenade. Terrace bar and restaurant have probably the best views in town. Must try. Rooms are fine, standard American size. Avoid "courtyard" rooms, the view is depressing - this is half of the hotel. About only a quarter of the rooms have view, not clear how you can book them. The carrot thing. Service is spotty. Do your own planning and booking for tours etc. The concierge is open only from 10:30 to 15:30 - when you are not in the hotel, hopefully having fun somewhere. When concierge is not there, the front desk offers no help; when it is there competency is an issue. The train they booked for me never showed up, we ended up wasting half a day in the station. Not fun. Did not even get an apology. Check out the smaller hotels in the blocks behind with nearly the same access to things.

It was an enjoyable stay overlooking the bay and getting a taste of Nice before our onward journey The hotel was busy but the staff was A1 from the friendly doorman to the reception and not to forget the bar staff at reception who kept a watchful eye to serve water even if you hadn't ordered a drink thanks.

Disappointing Stay — Not Worth the Hassle We stayed here expecting a relaxing experience, but unfortunately, it was anything but. There was a large convention of young adults during our visit, and the noise at night made it impossible to sleep. Despite reporting the issue multiple times, the staff and security did absolutely nothing to address it. The restaurant options were very limited, and basic amenities felt like an afterthought. Our TV didn’t work on the first day, so we were moved to another room — not exactly convenient. On the second day, housekeeping didn’t leave fresh towels, and getting substitute sugar like saccharine or Splenda felt like pulling teeth. Overall, the lack of service and poor attention to guest comfort made this stay incredibly frustrating. We won’t be returning.

Perfect location in Nice. Our room was clean and comfortable. Impressive views of the ocean from rooms and lobby. Lobby is a nice place to have a drink after a day of shopping or sightseeing. The restaurant on the top floor has amazing views.

Nice hotel right on the promenade; the rooms are not amazing but comfortable enough. There is a small pool on the rooftop - certainly not a lot of chairs, but provides a nice break. You can get discounted beds at the two beach clubs in front of the hotel - we went to Ruhl Plage while we were there, and that was still first come first served. The breakfast buffet is good but overpriced. The rooftop restaurant was pretty good if you don't want to leave the property for a bite. My biggest issue with the hotel is the lack of security. One evening, about 10 minutes after we returned to our room, we had a knock on our door. I checked the peephole because I wasn't expecting anyone and there was a man indicating that he was staying in the room next to us and he needed money for something. I said I couldn't help him and promptly called the front desk to let them know what happened and that they should check their cameras. They called back noting that they found him and escorted him off the property. The hotel should really jump into this century and force people to use key card to get to their floors. Unsettling situation.

I’m not a picky person, but this hotel is simply not worth the nightly rate. It was my wife’s birthday, yet they gave us a small room next to a storage area. We paid $650–700 per night, but the room looked out onto a dark courtyard, received no sunlight, and felt like a prison. I suppose this was their idea of a gesture. The hotel corridors looked like hospital hallways. The rooftop menu was very poor, and breakfast was not served on the terrace, even though some reviews had mentioned that it was. The staff were completely uninterested. If you want to pay $700 just to take a picture of the terrace view, go ahead—but I will never return. I will never stay at any Marriott Bonvoy hotel again. On top of everything, they still haven’t refunded my deposit even though 5 days have passed.

Wonderful hotel in a prime location! We requested a room with a balcony and enjoyed seeing the water from there. The room was very clean and staff was very helpful. The only thing we didn't like was the rooftop restaurant--it was understaffed and overpriced.
