The room was clean. The staff ok. There was renovation going on in the hotel, which made it very noisy. The should have made the clients aware of it.

Location is fantastic, we are at the center of the Prom. Des Anglais, and the sea view is as expected. The parking entrance was a bit difficult to find, we had to drive a round 2 circles due to the single lane to find the entrance. The parking has direct access to the hotel but only with stairs not elevator! If you have large luggage you still need to take the street exit and go around the corner to the hotel(which is not far). But we wish we know that earlier since we spend 5 minutes in the garage looking for access for Mercure then realize we still need to take the street exit which was right beside where we park. Other bummer is that I wish the hotel would be able to give us temporary parking pass to go in and out during the day so we don’t need to pay each time we leave garage(we stayed at another 4-star hotel in Cannes for one night and they offered that) but they didn’t have that unfortunately. The soft drinks in the mini bar was all free which was nice. But I was surprise that no bottle water was supplied. And no vanity set/nails kit/shower cap in the washroom, which those are the minimum I was expecting a 4-star hotel to supply.

The Mercure hotel is immediately on the seafront and close to both Central Nice and the amazing Old Town. An easy 20 minute drive from the airport. Double check that your transfer driver takes you to the right one, ours didn't! The hotel is clean and well maintained, rooms are well appointed with en suite and walk in shower. WARNING - We booked a room with a balcony there are balconies but not wide enough to sit out on safely and no patio furniture. Breakfast is very good with some typical European Breakfast dishes such as roast potatoes, cauliflower and broccoli? But great selection of cereals, cold meats and cheese, and cook your own eggs facility. The one down side is no sitting out areas, no facilities, no bar facilities, but you walk out straight to bars and restaurants. The location is its big selling point - would definitely consider a return visit

The location of the hotel was nice, close to shops, restaurants, beach. Great to a city trip. BUT no info on the website that the HOLE UPPER FLOOR IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION. They started early in morning (7:30!!) with the work like drilling, hammering. And up from 09:30 it was not possible to stay in the room, it was to loud. When we checked in we asked for a calm room and payed for a larger room separate. Will see if we get this money back as we were promised yesterday when we checked out. Before booking, take care, after this renovation session they will have the next one in autumn 2026.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, und das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Allerdings unterscheidet sich das Zimmer deutlich von den Fotos, die online gezeigt werden für ein Superior-Zimmer mit CityView. Die Einrichtung wirkt veraltet, nicht einem 4-Sterne-Hotel angemessen und entspricht nicht den aktuellen Abbildungen. Das war enttäuschend. Wir haben extra einen Aufpreis gezahlt, um den Blick gemäß Abbildung zu haben. Gut ist die Lage des Hotels.

Perfect location and the staff was very helpful. Bed was confortable and the room was so spacious. The cleanliness of the room was great but there was a bit of mildew in the tub (although this is typical of hot and humid locations) so it wasn’t a huge concern. Besides that the bathroom was very clean. Again, the bed was very confortable and the view + balcony was amazing. The location is close to a bus stop if you are taking public transportation from the airport and again the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Disappointingly rundown and scruffy and in need of real renovation. The corridors and room smelt of musty carpet and everything needed painting. The room was not sound proofed and i could hear every word if the people in the next room who woke me at night and at 6.20am. Two lights in the bathroom did nit work, the toilet seat didn't fit properly and there was no body lotion but two hair conditioners. So nothing is checked. Front desk staff were nice and helpful and location is good but this is a very poor grade 4* and for what i paid I could have stayed in a much better hotel.

Très bon emplacement et bon hôtel Chambre 3ème étages mais qui donne au rez-de-chaussée de l’immeuble pour un 4 étoiles à 300 euros la nuit. Moquette très salle. Bon petit déjeuner, sol collant près du buffet. Couloir un peu long manque d’ascenseur il faut faire le tour de l’immeuble pour y accéder.

The room was booked as air conditioned but they would not let us move the temperature to a colder temperature. We had to keep the windows open and it was extremely noisy up to the point where we couldn't sleep.

Hotel is in a great location. Has everything a four-star hotel should have. The only thing that lets it down is the lack of staorage space in the room. It was difficult for two people to unpack - no real shelves to use and only 4 hangers. Ended up putting everything on the floor.

Superb location with a seaview room overlooking the Promenade des Anglais, a short walk from the beautiful Old Town. Air conditioned and soundproofed room. Minibar with free soft drinks and water dispensers on the corridors.

I would rate this hotel a 4 star if the air conditioning worked properly.It appears they have a set temperature in all rooms and you can only control the fan. It gets very warm in the room, especially at night. Very difficult to sleep at night. I called the front desk to inquire about the temperature setting, and I was informed that there is nothing they could do. As such, i’m rating it a 2-3 star.

Excellent location. This not a 4 star by usual standards but a 3 star. Choose this hotel for location - close to lots of restaurants and the promenade. Our room was bigger than most hotel rooms in the area and bed was very good. Overall we were happy w our choice.

This hotel has strong and weak points. Location is as good as it gets on the Promenade des Anglais. The old town and shopping district is a few minutes easy walk away. Our room was spacious, but decoration was very dull and vastly different from online presentation. But bed was good. Our room also had good sound proofing and there was no traffic noice. Good free wifi. Ok bathroom - but towels are poor quality and very thin. No stand alone shower - you need to use the bathtub. Good breakfast. Friendly reception staff. So all in all we had a good stay. My reservations are not too severe. But calling this hotel 4 star is a bit too optimistic. Hotel has aged and is in need of investment. Considering the price level, one could expect more.

The view was good but the website shows a view and a room that does not exist. The balcony is not actually a balcony. You can not put any chairs or even have a drink outside. Not even close to what they show in their website.

1. The staff were amazing. English spoken extremely well 2. Location brilliant. Across the road from the beach and near lots of superb restaurants and cafes 3. Hotel room very clean and replenished every day with towels etc.

Great location. However,the hotel is not exactly as it is portrayed on the site. It is only 4 floors & located on the side of a large hotel that faces the ocean. We were on floor 2 & our room was half way subterranean. The bottom of the window at the back of our bed was on the level of the ground looking inward towards Astro turf & other buildings. It almost felt like a hospital situation. The rooms were clean & the beds comfortable. The staff was not very friendly & offered no help on what was available in the hotel or the area.

I reserved a premium room and I got a nasty smelly room instead and I went to the receptionists about it, they said that they were out of those rooms and it is first come, first serve thingy so I asked for my money back and they said to contact Expedia. Beside the location , you can find a better facility for the same amount of money. Just try something different else.

This hotel is perfectly located. Directly across from the beach on promenade des Anglais, and literally a one minute walk to the pedestrian walkways that lead to the Plaza Massena, Cours Saleya and Old Town. Staff were super friendly and informative providing awesome recommendations for restaurants, places to see and things to do. Would highly recommend staying here.

Struttura locata sulla promenade a due passi dal centro unica nota positiva per questo posto. Classificato 4 stelle ma un ibis budget ne varrebbe di più. Partiamo dall accoglienza. Si parlano 4 o 5 lingue tra cui l'italiano cosi citate sul sito.Arrivati sul posto troviamo una ragazza che non parla italiano. Chiediamo se parla inglese ma no, tedesco? Men che meno! A un certo punto ci siamo domandati se fossimo noi all accoglienza e lei la cliente! Detto ciò la receptionist si relaziona con noi in francese senza farsi alcun problema se potessimo comprendere o meno. Saliamo in camera e, all uscita dell ascensore vediamo porte arrugginite, muri sporchi e moquette indescrivibile. Entrati in camera, pagata ben 340 € per una notte, una delusione. Sottolineo il prezzo perché a certe cifre si pretende la pulizia e il comfort invece troviamo moquette macchiata, mura con rattoppi e sporchi, 1 appendino per due persone, per non parlare del cattivo odore dovuto alla scarsa pulizia della moquette, modello pelo di cane bagnato. Al parcheggio, che cuba € 28.50 a notte, si accede da una scala di almeno 5 rampe sia a salire che a scendere, no ascensore, il tutto di una sporcizia a dir poco imbarazzante. La colazione di bassa qualità per quanto si fanno pagare. Ci saremmo dovuti fermare 2/3 notti , siamo scappati alla prima con grande delusione.

After staying at 3 other Hotels here in France before coming here, this has been the best! The rooms are large, quiet, comfortable bed, the breakfast ample with a good variety and the location is perfect! Steps away from the beach and old Nice. The staff were very kind, especially Nick. Thank you again for making my stay there more peaceful. I will stay here again and highly recommend. 5 star in my opinion ; )

Location is the best part of this hotel. Rooms are pretty small and simple, but if you are hanging out in your room instead of being out in Nice, then thats your fault. Close to all sorts of shops and restaurants. Across the street from the beach. Very close to some casinos as well.

Superb location with a seaview room overlooking the Promenade des Anglais, a short walk from the beautiful Old Town. Air conditioned and soundproofed room. Minibar with free soft drinks and water dispensers on the corridors.

The Mercure hotel is immediately on the seafront and close to both Central Nice and the amazing Old Town. An easy 20 minute drive from the airport. Double check that your transfer driver takes you to the right one, ours didn't! The hotel is clean and well maintained, rooms are well appointed with en suite and walk in shower. WARNING - We booked a room with a balcony there are balconies but not wide enough to sit out on safely and no patio furniture. Breakfast is very good with some typical European Breakfast dishes such as roast potatoes, cauliflower and broccoli? But great selection of cereals, cold meats and cheese, and cook your own eggs facility. The one down side is no sitting out areas, no facilities, no bar facilities, but you walk out straight to bars and restaurants. The location is its big selling point - would definitely consider a return visit

Die Seife war leer und wurde nicht aufgefüllt. Kaffeekapseln gab es für 2 Personen 3, wovon 2 entkoffeiniert sind. Am Empfang sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und die Koffer konnten vor dem Check In abgegeben werden bis das Zimmer fertig war. Beim Frühstück gab es nur eine sehr kleine Auswahl, keine veganen Alternativen.

The Hotel is in great location. The lifts are old and paint from walls is coming off outside the lift. The room balcony door is only 1 foot open and balcony is dirty. The Breakfast was amazing with a view of the sea and promenade. I would stay here again. Very close to teh restaurants.

Veldig sentralt som er et stort pluss. Hotellet har behov for oppussing, begynner å bli slitent. Vanskelig å få luftet og da blir luften dårlig når kun aircondition er i bruk. Rommene er store som er et fint pluss. Veldig bra frokost, men dyrt.

Très bon emplacement et bon hôtel Chambre 3ème étages mais qui donne au rez-de-chaussée de l’immeuble pour un 4 étoiles à 300 euros la nuit. Moquette très salle. Bon petit déjeuner, sol collant près du buffet. Couloir un peu long manque d’ascenseur il faut faire le tour de l’immeuble pour y accéder.

Amazing hotel in an incredible location (Promenade Anglais, directly in front of the water) with reasonable rates. We stayed in a room that had a garden view and partial water view, which was well worth it. The interior was clean, modern, and spacious (for Europe) with great AC. The best part, however, are the staff. Dorothee in particular offers outstanding local recommendations for bars, beaches, and restaurants. She is the best! Adrian is also very kind and helpful—he will call local places for you if your French is rudimentary. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to our next visit!

The hotel was quite fine although perhaps a little overpriced. The refurbishment is to a high standard. In my first room the air conditioning was leaking so I moved to a different sea view room - however due to its location on the promenade des Anglaise and low floors of the rooms this was too loud to sleep.
