Ideal beach front location very close to the old town - great staff and quiet despite location (this was early September so could be different in height of season). Small hotel - no lift but not an issue for us - would definitely stay again. Spoiled for choice for cafés, restaurants etc.

Calidad precio mal. Las habitaciones muy pequeñas. No puede entrar transporte a esa área por lo que hay que caminar con las maletas tres cuadras. La propiedad es símil a un hotel de ruta.

The hotels location is excellent. Directly opposite the Promenade des Anglais. The bedroom was on a mezzanine floor and the bed was very comfortable with excellent pillows. Room was very clean. Reception staff were always very polite and helpful in carrying our suitcases up the stairs.

Great location but this is a 2 or 2.5 star property. Forget the lack of lobby, common area, etc but the room is where this property totally fails. Room had barely any room around the queen sized bed; windows were not hotel quality triple panes so heard all the drunk revelers walking by the hotel on the street below; no real shelf space in either the room or bathroom to put stuff on; AC did not cool properly; etc. The “lobby” was a 12x12 foot space; the “bar” was a laughable 12x12 space with no one ever there. If it were not for the location this would not be worth it but for the price we paid, this absolutely was not worth a 4 star.

The hotel location is hard to beat. It is close to EVERYTHING. the hotelstaff is very friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. The room we got was on ground floor, facing the back street, so it was noisy. The drain in the shower was slow, and the hot water was not consistent. There was construction goin on, so we had to deal with scaffolds, wall painting, and steps... If you have heavy luggage, it will be a bit of work. Other than that, the hotel was adequate for our stay.

The location was amazing. Easy walk to everything in Old Town. Staff was helpful and attentive. Room cleaned everyday very nicely. Only issue is that the standard rooms are very small. Sort of like being on a cruise ship, but honestly it was fine and I would stay here again. Be advised no elevator so you have to carry the suitcases up stairs. Was fine for us but had to help a few older couples. Also, big plus is you can set the air low and keep it cool without some ridiculous alleged "environmental" restriction.

Booked this apparently 4 star hotel as part of wedding anniversary trip to South France. Red flag from the moment we’ve checked in, the receptionist was extremely rude and kept on rolling eyes for every simple question asked. We are easy to please people and all we’ve asked was a nice/decent room for our anniversary. After receiving a strict negative response that our booking was via Hotels.com and aren’t entitled to a room such as sea view and no cancellation or refund possible, we decided to go to our allocate room 101. Oh my word!!! Never have I experienced anything like it. The room looks like a previously housekeeping cupboard, only able to fit a bed and a table - a rat hole in a nutshell. I wish I could describe the mould smell in this room but there isn’t such a word in dictionary. All I can say is a week later and we’re still heavily breathing after one night spent in this room. Also, to top this up the room next to it has few washing machines running constantly. Just when you think it can’t get any worse, you open the balcony curtains and see the ugliest ever backyard. Breakfast also cheap options, with pretty much everything microwaved, incl. scrambled eggs. All in all, definitely not recommending this scam hotel to anyone, as the website photos aren’t showing the reality. Or most likely they only advertise their best room as standard. Equally, I am reluctant using Hotels.com in the future based on this experience. Avoid if possible is my advice!

Absolutely beautiful hotel with an amazing location. Parking was close by and easy. Very clean and staff were friendly. We had an issue because the shower didn’t drain properly (which was a shame because it was hot with great pressure!). Also the hair dryer didn’t work properly but they were very quick to replace it.

La chambre est super petite, et pas très propre. Une odeur qui venait de la salle de bain était catastrophique. Pour ce fait je ne recommande pas ce hôtel. Mais par contre l’accueil très chaleureuse là je félicite le personnel.

Sehr zentrales kleines Hotel direkt an der Promenade. Gute Zimmer mit leiser Klimaanlage. Service aber ein wenig unaufmerksam, am letzten Tag Abfluss der Dusche verstopft, wir hoffen, das wird für die nächsten Gäste repariert.

Beautiful boutique hotel with direct view of the Mediterranean and within walking distance of the Place Masséna and Vieux Nice. Staff provides excellent customer service. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and good size. Breakfast buffet is plentiful. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to my next visit.

We booked the hotel knowing that it was a more budget option and we’re pretty low maintenance, but was left overall disappointed by a hotel that has great potential, given the location right on the seafront. Pros: -Staff were always pleasant and helpful -Location is great, on the seafront and only a 2 minute walk from the markets -Bed and pillows were comfortable -Shower was good -Filtered water fountain Cons: -Room was very small, would’ve been a squeeze if we had larger cases, especially around the bed -The air-con only blew hot air, it wasn't boiling as we went in April, but still warm enough to be uncomfortable -We didn’t pay for enhanced room, but our view was’t very nice at all -Decor and appearance of the room and hotel was very different to the photos provided on Hotels.com -We had to ask for more milk, sugar etc as they weren’t refilled -We found many small black hairs on the bed and on the bathroom floor on arrival and after room service

Man skal kun vælge det for beliggenheden, men den er til gengæld også suveræn. Tæt på den gl. bydel og lige ud til stranden. Måske var vi uheldige, men værelset var gammelt og lugtede af våd kælder.

The location is fantastic - right on the edge of the old town and walking distance of the train and tram stations. Fantastic for seeing everything you would want to see in Nice. Interesting rooms in two levels - with the bathroom and small living room on the lower floor and bed on the upper floor via a staircase. It could do with a small sofa on the lower floor, as it seemed slightly wasted space, even through there was a TV there. Door to a balcony - although be aware that the hotel front is on a Main Street, the side is on a cut through with restaurant downstairs, and the back is on a busy street to the old town - so opening the window lets the noise in. Brekfast is 20 euro per person - don’t waste your money as there are plenty of places near by where you can get food and coffe for 10 euro a head. Fantastic hotel though and the location can’t be faulted. Staff were friendly.

I didn't like the room because it was divided in a weird way. To get to the bed, you had to climb a steep set of stairs, and there wasn't enough clearance in the bed area to stand up properly

On arrival we were early and only had to wait 15 minutes for our room. We loved our room, booked a privilege room and it didn’t disappoint. Large and spacious, with a large bathroom. The room was very clean with air conditioning a small fridge with 2 free drinks along with tea and coffee. Hotel across the road from the beach and located within the old city. Would definitely stay here again, highly recommend this hotel.

An excellent hotel. Ideally located for exploring Nice and easy to access local transport options to explore further afield. Room was fantastic, with an amazing view of the seafront. The staff were very friendly and the young lady at reception who checked me in and out was exceptionally helpful

stayed at the hotel 3 days for business . booked and got privlage room #7 . location is perfect , staff were very helpfull and polite breakfast was ok . my only downsise it that room 7 is located at the back over a street with restaurants that empty thier glass bottles bins ana other garbage at early morning hours and that woke me up .

The location was amazing. Easy walk to everything in Old Town. Staff was helpful and attentive. Room cleaned everyday very nicely. Only issue is that the standard rooms are very small. Sort of like being on a cruise ship, but honestly it was fine and I would stay here again. Be advised no elevator so you have to carry the suitcases up stairs. Was fine for us but had to help a few older couples. Also, big plus is you can set the air low and keep it cool without some ridiculous alleged "environmental" restriction.

Booked this apparently 4 star hotel as part of wedding anniversary trip to South France. Red flag from the moment we’ve checked in, the receptionist was extremely rude and kept on rolling eyes for every simple question asked. We are easy to please people and all we’ve asked was a nice/decent room for our anniversary. After receiving a strict negative response that our booking was via Hotels.com and aren’t entitled to a room such as sea view and no cancellation or refund possible, we decided to go to our allocate room 101. Oh my word!!! Never have I experienced anything like it. The room looks like a previously housekeeping cupboard, only able to fit a bed and a table - a rat hole in a nutshell. I wish I could describe the mould smell in this room but there isn’t such a word in dictionary. All I can say is a week later and we’re still heavily breathing after one night spent in this room. Also, to top this up the room next to it has few washing machines running constantly. Just when you think it can’t get any worse, you open the balcony curtains and see the ugliest ever backyard. Breakfast also cheap options, with pretty much everything microwaved, incl. scrambled eggs. All in all, definitely not recommending this scam hotel to anyone, as the website photos aren’t showing the reality. Or most likely they only advertise their best room as standard. Equally, I am reluctant using Hotels.com in the future based on this experience. Avoid if possible is my advice!

The hotels location is excellent. Directly opposite the Promenade des Anglais. The bedroom was on a mezzanine floor and the bed was very comfortable with excellent pillows. Room was very clean. Reception staff were always very polite and helpful in carrying our suitcases up the stairs.

Lovely hotel, ideal location! We stayed in room eight noisy about 6 am due to deliveries to The restaurant below room. We stayed two nights no housekeeping on second day, but we weren’t too fussed about that as got coffee pods from reception. Will definitely stay again.

The location is fantastic - right on the edge of the old town and walking distance of the train and tram stations. Fantastic for seeing everything you would want to see in Nice. Interesting rooms in two levels - with the bathroom and small living room on the lower floor and bed on the upper floor via a staircase. It could do with a small sofa on the lower floor, as it seemed slightly wasted space, even through there was a TV there. Door to a balcony - although be aware that the hotel front is on a Main Street, the side is on a cut through with restaurant downstairs, and the back is on a busy street to the old town - so opening the window lets the noise in. Brekfast is 20 euro per person - don’t waste your money as there are plenty of places near by where you can get food and coffe for 10 euro a head. Fantastic hotel though and the location can’t be faulted. Staff were friendly.

For my first trip to Nice-Ville, I couldn't have made a better choice than to stay at Mercure Marche aux Fleurs. Main points to rave about: the location--the hotel's directly across the street from the Promenade des Anglais, providing a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean as you walk out the front door. To have that 3+ mile walkway to stroll and take in the sights of the sea, with immediate beach access: beyond beautiful and convenient. The hotel's in striking distance of "Nice-ville," the old town section--that made for splendid, wandering walks every day. And it's close to public transport--the TGV line stops in town (best to catch a cab to the hotel, though); and the trams and bus lines can get you to other spots on the shore. But the hotel's interior was fantastic, too. My room was smartly designed, tastefully decorated; excellent, firm bed and pillows; and surprisingly quiet, given the proximity to the promenade and beach. Important perk: A/C. The hotel staff was terrific: impressively multi-lingual, informative, patient, and kind. Two slight critiques: there's no elevator in the hotel. You can get help with your baggage, though. Second: my room (1st floor) had a damp smell to it. I chalked it up to beach life. Still, it'd be great if the bathroom (in particular) had exhaust fans of some sort. That point noted, I'd return to Mercure Aux Fleurs in a heartbeat!

Mysigt hotell med ett fantastiskt läge vid stranden, nära till allt. Mycket hjälpsam och trevlig man i receptionen. Frukosten var ok men inte mer än så. Vi hade en mysig liten balkong mot en innergård. Nackdelen var att någon form av ventilation/fläkt (?) brummade konstant inne på gården och blåste ut en obehaglig lukt av gammalt mat-os. Tyvärr var sängar och kuddar mycket obekväma och hårda .

Beautiful boutique hotel with direct view of the Mediterranean and within walking distance of the Place Masséna and Vieux Nice. Staff provides excellent customer service. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and good size. Breakfast buffet is plentiful. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to my next visit.

Great location! However, the room had wall paper peeling off and a broken hair dryer. We had a unique room which was challenging to carry large bags up a small spiral staircase with doors that didn’t open fully. We didn’t receive any assistance with this at all.
