The Good - very central in Berlin Mitte - only 5 mins walk from Alexander Platz, so good for local eateries and transport connections. Good view of the TV tower from the balcony. The room was clean, BUT: - they only clean it every second day - using the ‘environment’ label to justify this, though it’s basically a cost saving opportunity for them. If I’m staying in a hotel, I want my room cleaned each day. - although there is a basic coffee shop offering at reception, it’s not really suitable for a decent breakfast. My room was a standard room, which would be fine for a couple of nights, but I was there for 2 weeks. With only a desk chair, this meant that I couldn’t really spend any time in the room relaxing / reading/watching TV - needed a bit more space for a comfy chair. There is a tiny ‘kitchen’ (hob and fridge) - but again, you really wouldn’t want to spend time eating in the room. Laundry service was outrageously expensive - but there is a laundry room in the basement which you can use for free. Supposed to be room service via scanning code in the room, but on the 3 times I tried this, it was not available. In summary, I think there are much better hotels in the area for similar price. I wouldn’t recommend, but it’s also not the worst.

Vi har boet på hotellet de sidste 3 gange vi har været i Berlin - og det er ganske enkelt et fremragende sted, der varmt kan anbefales. Nogle af værelserne har egen altan, som er et klart plus på de varme dage. Der er gratis brug af et rigtig godt motionscenter lige over for hotellet, hvis man ønsker det 🙂

Zentrale gute Unterkunft im Boarding House- Stil, self check in, bar/restaurant im EG. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, gute Größe mit kleiner Küche und offenem Bad. Parken ist dort auf der Straße extrem teuer.

Although we were initially flustered by the humanless check-in, facilitated by the employees at the adjacent coffee shop, we had a fantastic hotel experience here. We had a very spacious corner room with a view of the Berlin TV tower, and the neighborhood is very walkable with some great restaurants and cultural sites. The coffee in the shop downstairs was terrific, the rain shower in the room relaxing, and the free laundry facilities convenient. Highly recommend!

Hotel is very well located! Few steps from Alexandre Platz, short walks to museum island and all. It is cleaned and rooms are cleaned (if you request) every second night. We used the digital keys. Works well but you need to ensure you keep you cell charged. The laundry facility is a great feature! I will definitely recommend it.

The room was nice and it did get cleaned on the second day. Fyi, i never saw a staff person. I checked myself in, at a computer at the front desk. No staff. I scanned my own keycard. I checked out online and again never saw any staff. There was staff in the restaurant but i did not go there.

Schöner Industrie-Stil, geschmackvoll, sauber, freundlich. Einzige negative Punkte: wir waren 6h unterwegs und die Zimmer waren noch nicht sauber gemacht worden. Wir sind außerdem Freitags angekommen und mussten um 14 Uhr noch 20€ Early Check in Gebühr zahlen Der Lärm gehört ja leider in Berlin daz.

Room was great. the shower has glass doors and is within the living room. Depending on who you are traveling with, this maybe great or not. Free laundry but the machines are the high energy efficiency household style (not commercial) and so takes over an hour to wash.

pierwszy raz miałem okazję zameldować się w hotelu bez udziału jakiejkolwiek osoby. Nie istnieje tu coś takiego jak zwyczajowa recepcja, człowiek od początku do końca sam się melduje i wymeldowuje używając do tego celu wyłącznie swojego telefonu, i tym samym telefonem odblokowuje drzwi do pokoju. Pokój przestronny, nowoczesny, super widok na wieżę telewizyjną. Do Alexander Platz 3 minuty spacerem, super miejsce na zwiedzanie Berlina na piechotę. Blisko do dworca kolejowego i przystanków autobusowych. Dwie rzeczy do poprawy: materac + poduszki oraz bardzo niestabilne wifi, poza tym 10/10, bardzo chętnie powrócę tu przy kolejnym wyjeździe do Berlina

The restoom sink was high making it uncomfortable and the shower has no door,getting a draft when showering. We were charge $25 extra for early entry, even when the room was already available. No dresser to place clothing.

Had a 4 night stay here last week and I have to say it was spot on. Handy location and easy access to everything in Berlin. Considering it's a self hotel it was still fab. The room was beautiful and clean. Handy location and easy access to everything in Berlin. Although my only negative point about the room was that the shower and sink was in the area as the bed and everything else. This may not be suitable for couples. (Which is why I've only given the room 4 stars). But apart from that absolutely fantastic. And I will be back. 😀

Best hotel in the area. Only thing was that there's no people at the reception (I never saw any of them in my 10 nights stay) so in the case of urgency you need to text message them, of which response will be received the following morning. However, you can pick some necessary items such as towels, toilet papers 24/7 so I didn't get in trouble much tbh. It was so nice to be able to use the laundry 24/7 too. I'll defo come back

We had a great experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located about 7 minutes walk distance from a train station and close to Alexanderplatz. I would go again.

Our stay at the Lux 11 hotel in Berlin was great. The staff were very helpful and they have a nice restaurant in the hotel as well. It was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see in Berlin. We will gladly stay here again if we are in the area.

I enjoyed my stay here as a solo traveler. It was the perfect location for me, as it was in the Mitte neighborhood, so close to lots of cultural destinations, art, galleries, etc, and public transit options. The street the hotel is on has lots of cute shops and nice restaurants. The hotel itself is close to Alexander Platz.

Absolutely loved this place! Check in was all done by phone with electronic keys being activated on the app. Same with check-out, which was very easy. The apartment itself was wonderful and had everything we needed. Modern, clean, and very comfortable. The drinks in the bar were fantastic, the bagels in the cafe were equally good, and all of the staff were lovely! We walked all around Berlin from here. Lots of nice places to eat and drink nearby.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and it was very convenient having the café and restaurant/bar on the same property. Only issue we had was the door to the balcony was not connected to the top hinge and was close to falling off. Overall would recommend and stay here again!
