One of my favourite hotels in Berlin for design, convenience, transport access, location etc. Refurbished 2 years ago. Nice rooms (generally, but see my later comments), good Wi-Fi, nice breakfast buffet, modern, clean and tidy. This trip, however, did not start off well! Due to the European football championships, the rooms were at a high price and I booked a 'Studio' for 4 nights with my wife. Upon arrival we were given the largest Studio, which even included a small kitchenette - room 246, a quirkily shaped room but we were very pleased with its presentation, size etc. My 1 worry even before entering the room was that it was located right next to the extended 24-hour access fitness room! I expressed my concern to the receptionist but was told it wouldn't pose a problem. We agreed to try it for 1 night but would probably want to move for the following nights. Unfortunately it became abundantly clear that this would indeed be a problem due to heavy 'free weights' being dropped on the floor. We expressed our dissatisfaction and asked to be moved immediately. Another, smaller, studio was found on floor 5 but upon entering, we noticed a smell of stale smoke so had to reject this one too. After no little 'discussion' we finally negotiated a free upgrade to the 1-bed aprtment on floor 6, which was, surprisingly. available for our stay. Problem solved but with lots of trouble, which spoiled the start to our stay. Why put a gym next to a premium guest room or any room?

Unter dem Gebäude befindet sich eine Parkgarage, die von der Hotellobby begehbar ist. Das Gebäude wurde neu renoviert, der Fitnessbereich war während unseres Aufenthaltes Anfang Oktober noch nicht fertig gestellt. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und ausgezeichnet. Es gibt eine große Anzahl an süßen und pikanten Speisen zur Auswahl. Auch die Lage des Hotels ist empfehlenswert. Alles in allem - tolles Hotel, gerne wieder.

After checking in I found out that the restaurant and the coffee shop are closed during my entire stay (a week). The temporal dining space is by the entrance/reception and was not comfortable. Room was clean but there are almost no toiletries or water bottle available. Reservation was not flexible for my request of change of stay and it was very disappointing. Staffs were nice, the location was convenient. Overall it was lower than the minimum I expected, I would not return and would not recommend to my friends.

Newly renovated, outstanding service from the front desk. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Good bar and lounge in the lobby with outdoor seating and happy hour (2 for 1 drinks) every day. The breakfast buffet was very good and had plenty of options including hot food like eggs, bacon, etc., lots of fresh fruit, a large assortment of breads, hot and cold cereals, and a cappuccino machine. However, if it isn't included in your room rate, it's pricey at 26E. I thought it was worth it! It was a 15-20 minute walk to many great attractions including Checkpoint Charlie, the opera house, Brandenburg Gate (maybe 20+ minutes for that one), etc. Front desk staff were outstanding.

I think there is not much this hotel could do better. Our room was very clean and convenient. There was a small market in the lobby and good restaurant services. Location is pretty central and within walking distance from most of the sights. The closest streets are fairly quiet so you might need to walk a little to find cafés and restaurants.

Mooi schoon gerenoveerd hotel. Binnenarchitect heeft mooi werk geleverd als je van de Scandinavian style houdt. Minpuntje is dat er in de garage geen oplaadpunten voor elektrische auto’s zijn. Wellicht komen deze later want men was nog bezig in het renoveren in de garage. Vriendelijke personeel en goed ontbijt.

Convenient close to the city center, Walking distance to Checkpoint Charlie, room was clean, texture of the floor not our favorite, especially for the summer the blackout curtains are great. Unfortunately the first night on arrival there was no shower gel in our shower, but that was resolved the next day. We used the parking garage only for 1 night, because we arrived late and parking outside was free from 22h-9am and on Sundays. Our stay was over the weekend.

Room was pretty new, bathroom was also new and without any defects. Bathroom was very nicely cleaned. The only minor detail that i have is the amount of dust that is present in the room. When we entered the room for the first time there was already a layer of dust present on the two beds.

Super neat hotel. You could practically eat from the floor. The rooms are modern and very well detailed, as is the bathroom. Everything works perfectly fine. Same with the lobby, very spacious and welcoming. I liked the two-option breakfast, where you can go all out on the buffet, or just one serving, for about half the price. Location is good, not particularly near the tourist attractions, but very well walkable. All in all, a great experience.

Wonderful clean and conveniently located hotel. All the main must do sites were 15 minutes walk in one direction or the other with a close by underground station as well. Hotel was immaculate, rooms comfortable and modern and clam and welcoming social areas. Breakfast was good with choice for every dietary need. Reception staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful and patient. I will be returning!

Excellent hotel with comfortable beds and clean room. Only issue are the doors . To be closed people need to bang them hard which means in the morning we could hear people getting out of their room and banging their door!

Good place to stay. Nice comfy beds and clean and airy rooms. Areas that could maybe be improved are quality of dining options on an evening and the A/C in the room didn’t seem to work any different no matter what setting the thermostat.

Lækkert hotel. Dejlige stort værelse, god seng, moderne og rent. Der var også meget stille, som var skønt midt i en storby. Venlig personale og lækker morgenmad. Ligger tæt på bus og undergrund eller gå afstand til centrum. Vil helt klart booke her igen.

Had a fantastic stay for a recent girls trip. Very modern with comfortable beds. Brilliant location but also quiet and felt very safe. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Loved that the TVs have a built in Chromecast! Would definitely stay again

My friends and I stayed at your hotel from Sept. 29 - October 2. We had a delightful stay in every way. We were greeted upon our arrival with kindness and warmth. Our room was so very comfortable. This was our first time in Berlin and we did not know what to expect. The restaurant became our dining room as we immensely enjoyed the friendly waiters who attended to our every need. The 5 of us ended up sitting at the big round table for all of our meals and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners we shared at that table. On October 1, I left my phone in a taxi. I was so distraught and my friend Suzanne helped me navigate retracing my steps. Another taxi driver kindly called in my missing phone to the central taxi office. We waited several hours where our taxi ride originated and finally decided to go back to the Marriott Courtyard to see if they could help us. An angel named Katarzyna Kiedos helped us at your front desk. She was so encouraging and offered to call the taxi central office to let them know where I was staying. She was very reassuring and told me that she believed my phone would be returned. As we were having dinner that night at our favorite table we got a call from Katarzyna that a taxi driver was in the lobby with my phone! I was overjoyed and relieved. I arrived at the hotel several hours before my check-in time and was accommodated regardless. The staff was extremely nice and professional. The breakfast croissants and coffee were superb. The hotel is located very centrally, one can walk everywhere. I will definitely come back here.

The staff in every section could not have been better. The reception staff were friendly and knew exactly what was required. They were even very embarrassed by a slight IT glitch on arrival. The serving and bar staff were excellent too. They were attentive and helpful at every level as well as being extremely polite and friendly.

Wonderful clean and conveniently located hotel. All the main must do sites were 15 minutes walk in one direction or the other with a close by underground station as well. Hotel was immaculate, rooms comfortable and modern and clam and welcoming social areas. Breakfast was good with choice for every dietary need. Reception staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful and patient. I will be returning!

Female receptionists were rude during check in and check out. When we checked out the lady gave as a ‘what do you want’-attitude and then demanded 18€ for tax. Generally was unpleasant to “talk to”. Didn’t ask how our stay was or if we needed transport to the airport or told me what happened to the deposit I had to make at check in. No thank you for your stay etc. Won’t come back.

The property condition is excellent. Walkable from Spittelmarket railway station. The rooms were big enough and one of the best i stayed in Germany. Breakfast was good but repetitive and got bored by 4th day of stay. The staffs were excellent and very helpful. Many attractions are at a walkable distance, like check point Charlie. The others with an hop from nearby bus and train stations. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone and i would be back for my next trip. The only negative was the Breakfast waiter make you write your room number and the tip amount before you proceed. That's kind of annoying and bullying.

Super neat hotel. You could practically eat from the floor. The rooms are modern and very well detailed, as is the bathroom. Everything works perfectly fine. Same with the lobby, very spacious and welcoming. I liked the two-option breakfast, where you can go all out on the buffet, or just one serving, for about half the price. Location is good, not particularly near the tourist attractions, but very well walkable. All in all, a great experience.

Loved this hotel. Newly renovated from top to bottom. Great rooms of a good size with very comfortable bed and pillows. Nice quiet area but still only 20 min walk from some tourist spots. The hotel itself is quiet with no thin walls or floors. 2 minutes from spittle market tube stop. Breakfast good quality and with a good variety and of course lovely staff. Only negative this is a residential/business area with no restaurants and bars in immediate area. Only a10-15 min walk however will take you to several.

I think there is not much this hotel could do better. Our room was very clean and convenient. There was a small market in the lobby and good restaurant services. Location is pretty central and within walking distance from most of the sights. The closest streets are fairly quiet so you might need to walk a little to find cafés and restaurants.

After checking in I found out that the restaurant and the coffee shop are closed during my entire stay (a week). The temporal dining space is by the entrance/reception and was not comfortable. Room was clean but there are almost no toiletries or water bottle available. Reservation was not flexible for my request of change of stay and it was very disappointing. Staffs were nice, the location was convenient. Overall it was lower than the minimum I expected, I would not return and would not recommend to my friends.

The breakfast buffet was very good and had plenty of options including hot food like eggs, bacon, etc., lots of fresh fruit, a large assortment of breads, hot and cold cereals, and a cappuccino machine. However, if it isn't included in your room rate, it's pricey at 26E. I thought it was worth it! The hotel was really good. Easy check in and check out. Friendly staff with good english, making it easy for us, they held our bags after check out, so we couldgo out for the day until our taxi arrived. Rooms were spacious, clean and bathrooms the same. Breakfast was very good, with a range of hot and cold choices. Good location, if you don't mind walking, we walked everywhere and found berlin easy to navigate using google maps. Very pleasant stay.

Hotel was very nice. Super clean, pleasant staff, comfortable room. The only thing that would make me not stay there again is the location. Yes, it's centrally located but it's in kind of a boring, non-descript part of town. If you're there for work, it's very comfortable. But as a tourist, I felt like there wasn't much to walk to nearby.
