I have mixed feelings on this stay. The floor was having the hall way renovated so 24/7 loud drier fans ran, so loud. The room did not look anything like the lovely light bright one pictured when booking on this site. It was dark and dingey. Deck was filthy and smokers had well used the room, it stunk. Has a kitchen but microwave has lost all its internal peel so metal exposed, no dishwasher, grease all around sink, no oven just a hob. Your survey says pool, never found that, and your site says room service, that doesn't exist. Staff are lovely, place is clean, bed is comfortable, location is great. It just is badly represented on this site. I do not feel I got what I paid for.

Generally, the apartment was very tidy (and kept that way throughout my 10 night stay semi regularly) and great to have a room with a small kitchen and modern laundry facilities in the room. Bed was very comfortable. Also a lap pool available. Reception was very friendly and helpful. ... BUT when you are selling yourself as an apartment and a hotel, you expect a few things - at least a couple of everything with kitchen cutlery, bowls, plates, etc... Hand towels, face washers, dishwashing detergent, etc... I shouldn't have to ask for this - this is a real basic minimum expectation. Sadly, there were quite a few broken things in the room that need to be looked at (something that wasn't worth mentioning during my stay) - old TV that randomly turned off with a remote that was broken, blinds that didn't roll up properly and were breaking at the sides and mould on the upper window. There must have been a flood at some point in the bathroom as the doorway has swelled up with a door that doesn't close properly and a washing machine that leaks (I actually cleaned the filter myslef and it stopped, ha ha). Lastly, a very minor thing but the circuitry for the lights was quite unbelievable as there were switches everywhere but you needed certain ones to be on, to turn others on... I was fortunate that I got this room at a discounted rate prior but even then it wasn't really worth the money that I paid - if I had paid the normal rate, I would have been asking for a serious discount.

Low priced room with clean bed for one night, so no complaints from us. Perfect if you are out exploring and just want somewhere comfortable to sleep, other than that, very tired property. We booked parking, there are around 6 spaces available and it’s extremely tight to manoeuvre in and out of in a medium sized car.

Best water pressure ever, however water sprays the bathroom, so don’t leave anything out whilst showering (including toilet roll). Unfortunately the bathroom drain was blocked and the bathroom had a very unpleasant smell. Didn’t report it as we cleared it ourselves. Overall, great location, comfortable and soft bed.

Location was good, everything we needed was in walking distance. However I would not stay again due to the following: room smelled awful and was worse when the air conditioner was on, hallway smelled of cigarette smoke, dirty walls in room, mouldy shower curtain, threadbare carpet.

Room we where in was dirty, especially the bathroom, black mould throughout. the walls in the apartment had bare plaster (Not Painted) patched holes. the pillows where the worst I've ever experienced. We where on a lower floor and the noise from the street made it almost impossible to sleep.

Construction started at around 7 near the apartments and was very noisy. Our room was subpar. The furniture was in good condition but the bathroom smelled of mold, the fan in the bathroom had mildew growing on it, my shower took over 3 minutes to give hot water the second time I used it. Scuff marks all over the walls and carpet missing/threadbare in the bedroom. It felt unpleasant and unclean.

The room was dingy due to lack of natural light. Although, there was a bath, there was no plug and the option to use the tap to fill it had been disabled. On the bright side, the location was convenient and it was right in the heart of Chinatown. Just be aware that the photos of the property are very flattering in that they show it to be more attractive than it is in reality.

I was disappointed that when I went back to my room at 7.00pm both swipe keys did not work. A call had to be made to a central number and security came. It was an inconvenience. I'm so glad in didn't happen later in the night. Unfortunately though there was no one to reissue more room keys so we had to stay in the room for the rest of the night. Or go through the hassle of getting security again to let us into the room.

Fantastic helpful staff. Especially Angilque on checking in. Was also allowed early check-in. Carpets are a bit old with plenty of wear and tear and TV'S need updating. Bed was comfortable enough Over all good stay in great location.

Was a great stay, they gave us a complimentary late check out. Pricing was great. Staff were warm and welcoming upon check in, which was so quick. The room was great, it's a little bit outdated, but it was great for the price & location. Will definitely be returning. Thanks so much for an amazing stay!

Go at your own risk. The room overflow drain was blocked and flooded the bathroom. Call to the Punthill emergency line and they didn’t even offer a follow-up call to let me know if a plumber was coming or not until i prompted that it was 9pm and wanted to sleep! Wrote to manager about the problem and have had no reply since.

Our stay was absolutely amazing this was our second time at Punthill Little Bourke, and it didn’t disappoint. The one-bedroom apartment was fantastic, with a well-equipped kitchenette, a comfortable living room, and a cozy bedroom. But the highlight was definitely the bathroom the spa bathtub was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and always easy to contact, which made everything even smoother. We also loved the food scene around the area so many great options within walking distance, making it super convenient. The nightlife was vibrant, and overall, we had an unforgettable experience. Quite a good room for the price. Spacious one bedroom with comfy bed. Check in closed well before 9 on Sunday due to staffing issues (5.30) and led to some drama in check in as the hotel has no other staff. I think it some of the rooms in an apartment complex. Now to check in out of hours you use a machine that drops your key into a box with a flap. When I opened it I found just a key rather than, had I checked further, a small envelope with a key in it. I did think it was strange being just a key but it opened the door and operated the lift but not the room door.... One hour later and multiple phone support type calls a manager turned up and found or dispensensed the key from the box. He took my key that I had been using, it operated all the lift floors so it was some sort of visitors key for the more permanent residents/small business operators that reside In the building I guess. The flap in the machine is not locked, my advice would be check first and remove anything that is in there. Then enter your code and what drops is your key. Anyway not the best start but otherwise a pretty good stay.

Punthill On Little Bourke Street is in a great location for most travelers. Theatres, dining, wining and catching transport is all easy from here! Reception staff very friendly and helpful, the decor is a little bit tired but it was clean. Very happy!

Great location on little Burke. Heart of China town. Easy to get to everything. Options for dining out was amazing. Literally restaurant options as soon as you walk out the door.with quirky lane ways with graffiti art.you never know what’s up a lane way could be a roof top bar or a trendy cafe. Worth the explore.

Pros: The property was conveniently located. Very comfortable bed. Check in and check out process was quick and easy. Mini Nespresso machine Cons: dirty bathroom. Mouldy tiles and shower chair. Spills on bathroom floor as though it hadn’t been properly mopped. Very very noisy laneway location but it was a Friday night. Room was light with blind allowing street lights into room. Whilst the bed was very comfortable, there were only two pillows in total.

On arrival stepping out of lift to our floor , it smelt disgusting , like sewage. Got into the room and couldnt smell it. Oped the blinds to see an alley way with garbage so there was no view. The bed was super comfortable, like a 10 out of 10. Couch had a spring near popping out that you wouldnt want to sit on. Area was quiet noisy on weekend. Water preasure in shower was great. Close to theatre so was ok to walk to . Didnt relise it was in china town . Over all it was an ok stay.
