The evening staff was good. Parking was easy. There were a lot of places to eat walkable around the hotel. The only draw back the door to the shower and toilet need to be shaved down to close properly. Breakfast was so-so, just a waffle maker, cereal, and pastry. We didn't eat there.

The staff were helpful and courteous but this place needs work. It was loud, smelled of cigarettes, and not clean. No remote control in the room so I had to go ask for one. The breakfast area had no forks, the juice machine wasn’t plugged in and operational, and part of the ceiling looked like it was about to fall in. I know it’s a budget place and i definitely got what I paid for. Parking is also limited.

My family stayed here for one night and would not recommend it. The facilities are obviously falling apart and are not being maintained. The parking lot and hallways had a strong, unpleasant odor. Most alarmingly, the locks on the exterior doors were broken, and the staff had them propped open with a stick, which felt very insecure. We had to be moved to several rooms before finally being placed in one that was available. The breakfast was terrible; there were no plates or bowls, and the waffle maker had no batter. This hotel leaves much to be desired.

This property is supposed to be No Smoking. Obviously it doesn't apply to all smokable products??? There were empty shopping carts and furniture lying around on the property. Unsure of the safety of the property.

The room was spacious and clean and housekeeping was good about bringing towels and incidentals. The last night we were there, it rained and the ceiling leaked a good amount. We were on the second floor of a three-story building. There was no breakfast as advertised and when I went to checkout, there was no one at the desk (I waited several minutes and called for someone several times.) I wound up having to give my key to the housekeeper in the laundry room and leaving a note at the front desk.

The hotel is ideally located right off the Interstate and several dining options within a quick walk , Kroger is next door as well. The grounds were well maintained and the rooms were fairly clean , but the stairwell and entry way was filthy ! Smelled of urine and stale beer . I think a good cleaning would help this place and improve its rating!

This location is terrible. I wanted to stop just to get a couple of hours of sleep before hitting the road again and the hotel was filthy. The toilet seat was dirty and still had pee on it from the previous guess. The sheets on the bed had food stains like it wasn’t changed. The bathroom floor was still dirty with mud and the lamp looked like it wasn’t cleaned in months.

Work on telling you cleaning staff to CLEAN!!! There was blood or boo...on the trim of the bathroom door. Sheets had crumbs in the bed and a yellow stain on the sheet.

The elevator door had many graffiti scratches and the floor was cracked. My room’s fire alarm was lying on the dresser with the battery out. The bedside table drawer had a broken phone with a drinking straw in it. The air conditioner grill was cracked and missing pieces. Thank goodness it did work though. Towels were very poor quality and the cleanliness of the vanity and floor was suspect.

The night attendant was not friendly at all, she was busy watching TV(the morning attendant was friendly). The room smelled awful, half eaten apple in the freezer, cigarette burn on the bed cover and smell of marijuana in the hallway. We stayed because we had paid for the room already, otherwise we would have turned around as soon as we walked in. We didn’t trust to have breakfast there since cleanliness was not a priority at this hotel. Read pass the first few reviews, we are sorry that we didn’t read MORE of the LOW reviews because they reflect the conditions more accurately.

The property has people outside smoking weed and drinking, the room was disgusting and had blood on the floor, stains on the comforter and sheets and the bathroom floor was disgusting. We did not stay and I am working to get a refund because it was very dirty and felt incredibly unsafe

I didn’t stay and was not refunded. I checked in and checked out 5 minutes later and was unable to be refunded since I purchased through Expedia. Hotel was filthy and my room was the same. Chicken crumbs were left on the nightstand meaning the room wasn’t cleaned prior to my arrival.

The first room we were given had filthy toilet. Lots of toilet paper and unflushed. Looked like someone had blow-out diarrhea and seat was nasty. Second room we moved to had opened condom and wrapper in the ice bucket. Also had used condom wrapped in dirty wash cloth lying on cabinet under TV. We notified front desk about condom in ice bucket but found cloth with used condom later and threw into trash. I think their idea of cleaning a room involves changing bed linen, emptying trash, putting out fresh towels and complimentary toiletries.

Front desk person and were very nice. Room is very spacious and has been recently remodeled. Couple holes in the comforter and some wear and tear to sheet rock. Needs a little TLC but overall good value.

Mattress feels wornout as springs seem to be poking thru, toilet would not flush, no soap, no trash can in bathroom, all metal finishes are rusty and corroded. Breakfast bar had waffles but no plates, coffee bar had cream but no sugar. Not to mention while the hotle employee was stocking breakfast bar she was just complaining the whole time, flinging boxes, complaining the entire time pushing past customers to continue what she was doing with out so much as an excuse me. Hotel advertises 100% smoke free while the whole place smells like a pretty heavy smoke out session is in affect- heavy weed aroma thru out. When I told front desk the toilet was not working she barked at me to "tell her over there" and pointed around the corner. Someone spent some money buying all new decor and furniture but its like putting lipstick on a pig, its still a pig or a rundown unmaintained hotel.

My stay was absolutely terrible… as soon as I walked into the lobby, I saw a roach and then I got into the elevator to go to the third floor, and there was another roach… My room was very clean, but that was about the only clean thing from this hotel. I stayed at this hotel for four nights five days… Of those four nights three of them were absolutely terrible and I couldn’t sleep. The people in rooms close to me were always blasting music throughout the day and into the evening and on many occasions were screaming and fighting with each other in the hallway, what sounded like right outside of my door until 4 AM. On my last night I was woken up at 2 AM to screaming and fighting. It was sounded like my door being slammed… I packed my bags and checked out of this hotel 3 1/2 hours earlier than I planned to because I just had to get out of there… Absolute worst experience of my life

We got a room with a jetted tub because we were in town for a granddaughter's softball tournament. I figured she would enjoy soaking after playing ball all day. First of all, our TV didn't work the first night, so they moved us to a different room with a jetted tub. The next night, I ran her some water and tried to turn the tub on, and if course it didn't work. The guy at the front desk was very nice and offered a partial refund without me even having to ask. That would be the only good thing about this hotel.

My air conditioner went out during the first night and woke up moist everywhere. Changed rooms an hour later and the ac leaked water in there as well. This hotel needs to be updated real soon. Nothing like photos on line. Needs makeover bad.

First the hotel didn’t have my reservations even though I made them 3 days prior on hotels.com, so we had to wind up paying full price for a room, next there was hair in our jetted tub and it was dirty. There were no other rooms like ours available. Bed was comfortable and the staff was overall friendly. The manager took care of our room for us because of the condition. Great and helpful employees, dirty bathtub!!!

Front desk check in was great A/C was noisy Bed was hard Breakfast was clearly advertised as 6am to 9 am but was absolutely nonexistent at 8am. When staff was asked they rudely replied “ breakfast was over”. When we were ready to check out we could find no one at the desk. We ended up leaving the door key card at the counter and going on our way. We have stayed here twice before but we won’t stay here again

This was definitely not one of the better red roof hotels. The woman who checked me in was not very friendly. It took me four rooms before I finally had one. One room had not been cleaned and the handles for the drawers were rusting. The other two she gave me key cards that people were already occupying the room. That made me feel unsafe and not sure if my belongings were going to be OK in the room if I left because if she’s giving me the key to somebody else’s room then what is she doing with my room? Does that mean people can just walk right in to my room and potentially take something? Also, there were no options for breakfast. It was just the waffle there was no fruit, no juices, muffins or anything.

This property advertised free breakfast but it was not available, not even coffee. Card keys were not available (?) so I was given the master key to unlock my room. However I had to return master key back to front desk while leaving my room door wide open and exposed to possible theft.

When I got there to check in. It took 20-30 minutes before a receptionist came to check me in. After I got the key, it wouldn’t work, then had to go back and get another one. Once I got in the room, I put my belongings in the drawer and left out to hang out with a friend. I looked for a do not disturb sign to go on the door but it wasn’t one. A few hours later made it back to the room. Swiped my key and someone else was occupying the room. They had booked the room with another couple. I never stayed in the room and the manager wouldn’t talk to me on the phone and I still haven’t got a call back about refunding my money from anybody. And another thing soon as I walked in the Hotel, it smelled like weed smoke from the start. The whole experience was terrible. I will advice anyone not to book with them

Close to highway but super noisy. This place is not recommended for families as you will see lot of folks drinking outside the hotel and in the parking lot. Loud cars running from parking lot late night, noisy hallway and people making out in the hallway. Breakfast was not available and neither did the place had any coffee to go. We barely stayed here overnight and rushed out early morning as nobody was comfortable staying here. Families should definitely avoid this place

Well located just off I-20. Since I prepaid, my room key was ready when I arrived, which was convenient. This was my first stay in a Red Roof Inn. Breakfast was supposed to be included but they had an issue with receiving their supplies, so, not even coffee in the reception area. (or the room). Happily, there's a Wendy's only steps away. All in all, it was tidy and comfortable for a one night stay, and easy to get on and off of the interstate.

I like the convenience of being around everything fast food and gas stations and casino of course being 5 min away but the noise from the neighbors I was around was unsettling but I made it through the night.

Convenient to our extended trip plan. 3rd visit to the Vicksburg Military Park. Good restaurant choices. Downtown Vicksburg is nice and historical for visiting. Red Roof was comfortable, quiet and safe.

The front desk girl & maybe the manager were amazing… but he first room we were giving which was supposed to be king bed wasn’t clean when we went in , dirty towels everywhere, trash , bed not made and dirty… they were able to move us rooms but it smelt like weed & cigarettes & it was double bed … Breakfast was non existent… you could make waffles but no syrup , no milk for cereal, no muffins, and counters were dirty … didn’t eat there

The room was OK nothing special. However, the entire hotel smells of pot, Which is not really the fault of the hotel, just the clientele. The breakfast that is advertised was regrettable. There was no juice. The machine was broken. The microwave was broken. There was one pot of coffee which ran out. There were no eggs or anything else. The only thing they had was a waffle maker.

The room had a bad smell. We went and purchased candles to help with the smell and that made it tolerable. The free breakfast was cereal and waffles. No juice or milk to drink. Definitely wouldn't recommend .
