The restaurant wasn’t very clean to eat at. Room was clean, gym/cardio space was subpar but nice to have access to. Close to airport which is the only reason I’d stay again

Staff was excellent as always! Location is great! I’ve stayed here many , many times now. The laundry room didn’t work very well and needs upgrading. 2 washing machines/2 dryers. The first washing machine took my money but did not work. Maintenance staff retrieved my money and got the other machine to work. But after a wash there was still something all over my load of clothes. Not sure if it was soap or lint? So I paid for a second wash, plus extra for an extra rinse. Same result. Still something all over my load of clothes. So $6 + $7 for a total of $13AUD but still needed to be washed again. I hung them dry and packed them when I left to rewash somewhere else.

Room just too noisy, other motel usrs, traffic from the road below just ruined my plans. Needed a good night sleep before an early flight and ended up with a sleepless night. Great proximty to airport, with a great restaurant and bar and reception staff were helpful and obliging but the noise just ruined it all.

The check in took about 30 minutes at 9:30pm. While this was a very affordable option for staying near the airport, it did not feel clean. The carpet in the room was very stained and didn't seem like it had even been vacuumed (i.e. lots of hair on the carpet). The bed felt clean but that was about it. Besides the occasional plane, it was a quiet area and very easy to access the airport by public bus.

Shabby hotel. Corridor and room carpets look like the haven’t been cleaned since the seventies covered in stains and spillage of various origins.Only one lift functioning. Double bed with only one side table. Bathroom fittings cracke and aged. Thin walls and no access to fresh air .Check in was very good and dining ok but $64 for breakfast was excessive. Staff friendly and helpful. Sadly a shabby ending to a month long holiday of excellent accommodation. Would not stay at Ibis again

The property is in a fantastic location close to airport and train station. Having the restaurant on site is so convenient. My only complaint is the filthy carpet in the room and corridor bleach stains etc. the rest of the room acceptable cleanliness.

Awful - a grubby hotel, everything tacky. Out the front are smokers and others assembled to make even the entry more like the exterior of a central train station than a hotel. The room was tiny, decor dated, and worst of all it felt dirty. I woke up with what might be spider bites. Hopefully not bed bugs. Whatever it was it was uncomfortable. If the price tag was $100 per night I would say not great but given I paid over $300 for that room it is appalling.

Property was easy to find and close to the airport. Rooms are small but adequate for a quick flight turnaround. Our only issue was the carpet was saturated in out room and smelly because of this but with a late arrival and very early departure we just wanted to sleep.

I have stayed at several Ibis hotels across the globe and know what to expect. However, compared to the other Ibis hotels, this one is really a disappointment The room is very small. The bathroom/WC is almost the size of airplane toilets. The furniture in the room is very bare bones, cheap and poor quality. The bed was too creaky.....sorry but this hotel really is not worth staying at

The room is very small. The internet access is terrible, basically unusable. Calling front desk asking why the internet connection is bad. The reply was: it is okay, they are not getting complains customers. Through out the stay, I can't even download short youtube video.

I liked the fact that the staff that were at reception did the best they could under very difficult circumstances. There seemed to be many duties that were attended to, but which took longer than was acceptable from a customer's point of view, due to there only being 1 staff member at even the busiest of times. Not a great experience for your guests, I feel.

We stayed over-night Sep16-17 and had completely negative experience. Stay away, if you can. It seems that the staff at the property is very poorly trained. When we arrived, we had to stay in line for 20 minutes to be checked-in because 2 of the receptionist could not seem to do their job, so the other 2 had to assist instead of helping a line of waiting people. Our reserved room was missing all towels, so we had to go back to get them. The restaurant had dirty tables and the staff was not cleaning them, so the customers had to wipe them down - that was very bizarre. And to top it off - at about 11pm, someone entered our room and when we yelled out - they said sorry that they had the wrong room.. but somehow their key opened our room - totally crazy. Finally our taxi which we reserved at front desk did not arrive on time, perhaps it was not reserved by the staff.. we so we took shuttle instead, because we had to catch our plane. Overall very unpleasant and stressful experience

I have stayed here probably roughly a dozen times give or take. Staff is very professional & helpful! One of the management(Lynnette) remembered me from past stays. She went above & beyond to help me print some travel documents I needed as well as looked up information for local shopping needs I had. Last night apon check-in there was a young Asian women( that claimed she was a international student) yelling and screaming at staff. She Threw a large glass plant bowl that also contained rocks & marbles, across the Check in desk at one of the clerks and shattered it all over the area. She continued to threaten 2 staff members as well as making approximently 8-10 guests trying to check in, very uncomfortable. The Staff kept their composure while they continued to assist the guests. The police were eventually called and the women was removed. I was very impressed how professional the staff was thought the incident.

Very close to the airport, so very convenient. Staff are few and busy. Lack of attention to detail and any kind of customer experience. Room condition is tired - needs a refresh. Just felt that it was poor value for the price. Overall, it worked for what I needed, but I won't be in a rush to re-book.

I did appreciate the cleanliness however during my stay my room was not serviced at all. I stayed for four days in total. I found the buffet breakfast to be good value. However I found the dining Menu to be rather limited.

This property had parking available for a price. It was within easy walking distance of the airport. The train station was a ten minute walk and was great to get to all parts of Sydney. The food was very good and the hours available was great as well. Staff were very good and check in and out was quick and easy.

Great place to stay overnight near the Donestic terminal If you are fit enough you can walk to T2 terminal in 15 minutes If you're coming from international terminal take 420 bus to Mascot station and then walk 8 minutes Do not take the train as it's more expensive

The property was a five minutes walk from Mascot train station and would have been easy to take train to International terminal but took advantage of bus transfer provided by the hotel. Was convenient for going into Sydney for an afternoon to eat out but there were eateries available also around Mascot station and one at the hotel. All very convenient.

we didn't like was room service where you ordered and then had to collect it down stairs. Don't call it room service. Also we ordered alcohol with our meal which the system allowed to be ordered and pay for and then when meal was collected was advised no drinks can be served after 10 .alcohol cannot be servied

The location was great. We had two rooms. They were comfortable. The light in Room 139 kept flickering and we had to turn it off though. The hotel was great. However the restaurant downstairs was terrible. People had to wait for a very long time, in a queue simply to get a drink. In the end we chose to go elsewhere (to the Travelodge) for dinner and drinks. The wait was ridiculous, particularly when travellers can be tired, getting ready for flights, etc.
