Stayed for 3 nights with family. Lobby is beautiful, pool is very nice however it closes way too early, 7pm. It’s a taxi, shuttle or uber to city center but worth the fare to stay at a larger hotel with bigger rooms and a pool. Especially for a family with kids.

As being a Marriott hotel, we were not impressed whatsoever. It was hard to get any service out at the pool. This is one of the worst Marriott I have ever stayed at. The pool had algae on the sides and the bottom of the pool. We went to buy beers and the lady that was working made us wait forever and she made it feel like she didn’t even want to wait on us. We arrived and had to have cleaners come and clean the carpet as there was black stuff all over one side of the bed. The wallpaper was coming off the wall. At breakfast, we had to repeatedly ask for pancake, which never came and repeatedly asked for espresso, coffee.

Very convienent for airport transfers , Telephone was not working (when I wanted wake up call). A piece of door knob was loose and kept detaching , but it locked ok. Staff was polite and friendly, but it seems overworked and took a bit long to get back to us. they had a clean environment with a pool , staff checked 5 lounge chairs for one that had all parts working. That is why i gave it a 4

The hotel itself is convenient to the airport for overnight stays. It is indeed far away from the city center, so I would not recommend it for city tourists. The only downside to the property itself is the stinch that the carpets permeate throughout the the room floors and the rooms themselves. The carpets should indeed be removed completely and replaced with an inlaid tile.

The location is deceiving because when you hear the word Marriott Rome Park Hotel you assume that it is in the heart of Rome. It’s nearly one hour away from the centre city and it is not accessible at all. Sure you can pay for a taxi ride that would cost you close to 35 euros. You can also take the hotel shuttle bus for a return price of 18 euros but it operates very specific times and the drop off location is not very accessible. The other issue was our bathroom was dirty and when I addressed to the front desk and shared pictures the front desk staff were very passive and did not offer a new room or have housekeeping come and clean it. Instead I had to walk 17 minutes to a local grocery store and buying cleaning products to clean the room. How crazy is that. Do they have a nice outdoor pool yes. It has a resort feel but makes sense when the hotel is not in the heart of Rome. The onsite Resturant and the only one to dine at is over priced. Unless you walk offsite for 20 minutes and there is a local bakery and pizza Resturant where the locals eat. The only reason why this hotel has foot traffic is it appeals To large organized tour groups and the local Italians whose the pool. Also we trust the Marriott brand but not for this property. You could not pay me to stay there.

They allow dogs which is great except for when they bark all the time. I worked and when I tried to get some sleep at 7:30am the dog in the room next door barked until 11 when I gave up and headed out to the area. Husband complained and security was called but the dog didn’t stop. They didn’t offer a room change until I went down. Rooms are in need of updating. Wall paper peeling off the walls. Phones don’t work. 1 lamp didn’t work. Fridge was warm. Trash on the floor from previous guests. Bus terminal is close so that’s a plus. Also uber was easy to grab but due to the long distance to the city it could get expensive.

Do not book! Old and filthy hotel, even though friendly staff, both at check-in/out and restaurant. Dirty room and found someone else’s underwear in the room. Clearly was not cleaned after previous guest. They only changed (if they did) the sheets and towels.

The Marriott Park is an older hotel that is close to FCO airport. If you are looking for a hotel that will help minimize the Rome traffic issues for a quick trip to FCO this is the place. There are no restaurants within walking distance of the hotel so be prepared to dine at the hotel restaurant. The security is very good with security guards at the main entrance. Really liked the two bathrooms in the room!

The corridors looked like we were staying in Vegas. Glasses, trays, empty bottles strewn all over the place on the way to our room. Three days without removal. We went out at 7.15 a.m. and came back at 16.00 to find room still not cleaned or towels changed. Breakfast was chaotic. One coffee machine to serve 150 + people. Food was buffet style and not very hot. On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable. Would not stay again.was tempted to take photos, but why bother. The staff didn’t.

Hotel is good for quick stays. It’s a 30-35 minute drive to the city center. WiFi was on and off. Breakfast was okay, I wouldn’t get the scrambled eggs it was just mashed up hard boiled eggs. Pool was very nice and the dinner menu was amazing from the restaurant inside. Staff was helpful but very long waits at reception. Shuttle service isn’t all the time and only once to the airport per day.

Terribly disappointed Check in process. Took over 30 minutes. Had to go inside and ask for help with luggage. Staff was standing inside doing nothing instead of being outside as taxi pulled up. Went poolside for drinks and snacks. Waited over 20 minutes for a beer and had to go to counter. They forgot!! Brought focaccia and did not bring chips to go with it.when I asked for the chips. Waiter said he had to check the menu to see if it was on there!!Went inside for dinner and asked for lemon with my water and never received them. Had to ask again. The gnocchi tasted like leftovers. Asked for HOT cappuccino. It was only warm and tasted terrible!!! The room was very nice. Having stayed there for the last10 years. I’m going somewhere else next year.

Brutal check in and poor Manager. It took 1 hour 20 minutes to check in and there with 18 people, multiple groups in front of me when I arrived. Each customer took very long. The manager was avoidant instead of addressing the issue, helping out himself and this made many people in line upset. After 45 minutes, a 15 person Chinese group entered with bags and a second staff person came out then in. This really upset people. My advice to the property: - Get travel times so you know when people will arrive - If you screw up its good to apologize and explain, people started getting angry and yelling because it looked you were ignoring the problem. - Please reconsider the manager here

It is ideally located between the airport and centre, easy to access. The food is overpriced, although it is not bad, it is not cooked typically. Reception for check in/out was terrible, I had to queue for nearly an hour for both. Slowest check in ever experienced. In all if you can wait an hour to check in then I recommend it, if you are not the patient type then I would avoid.

The hotel was nice and a great way to get off the plane and sleep. The hotel is in the middle of no where and you pay a premium to get to/from airport and to Rome. They do provide a shuffle for 15€ but the times did not work with early morning tours or exploring or for the late night dinners. Roughly 50€ one way trips to get what you need. The bus and train stops are 1.5km away so moving luggage was not feasible. If you are looking for a hotel way from the noise and ease of American amenities, this place is for you. Room was nice and the dual bathroom was great.

Middle of no where except 10 minutes from FCO and taxi charged $60 euro (rip off). Shuttle the Marriott said they had from airport only runs at 6 am a major detail they didn’t make clear so wasted time waiting and calling hotel for shuttle upon mid day arrival only to get in the only taxi in front of me which was a van. Van charge significantly more than cars and I was not aware nor did they tell me this. Then eveyone and I mean eveyone begs you for cash and gets annoyed when you use cc. This is more about not having good info on Marriott website and taxi company but the hotel was ok. Pool not opened even though end of May so not much to do here. Best for layovers although they did have shuttle to Rome city center maybe 4 times a day. Just didn’t have time for that based on their schedule.

freezing cold french fries, tasteless gnocchi al ragu, our shower didn't drain and it took 2 hours for the technician to come. there is a serious lack of signage -- for example, no signs how to exit/enter the hotel to go to the pool; no signs about where the lobby bathroom is (it's in the basement). it's too bad that there's such little attention to detail, because the lobby has so much potential and the pool is really nice.

Great room service, a rarity in Rome. Place is not near much of course, more a convention centre, but it was inexpensive, quiet and had what we needed. Convenient shuttle to the city leaves you near Forum Boarium walk to most of the classical sites. Breakfast is massive - actually ordering one big breakfast for two is enough!
