Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Lincoln East - White Mountains by IHG

Almost every single time I've come to Lincoln, THIS is where I've stayed. It's a near perfect hotel in the perfect location. The front staff is always exceptional every time we go, and shout out to Alessandro for being a friendly face every time we ran into him and always having a great attitude. Every hotel needs an employee like him. It's not a huge hotel, but it doesn't need to be. It's right in the middle of quaint Lincoln, right next to a beautiful mini golf course & train station, free breakfast, free parking, nice pool & hot tub, and the rooms always suit our needs with comfy and clean beds. It's about as good of a hotel as you can get for your money in this area.

Stayed for 1 night while visiting the Flume Gorge and Clark's Trading Post. asy check in/check out process. Room was comfortable and well kept. We used the indoor pool and it was small but my kids enjoyed it. We were impressed by the variety of the free breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

The indoor pool was freezing. Breakfast pancakes were good but the eggs were like rubber. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.

The location is super convenient and breakfast was superb with many great options to choose from. Mattress and comfort is what is expected for these types of hotels, we were able to rest easily. Pool was very cold and small in size, we were surprised that it wasn’t as warm given of the size, but hot tub was nice.

Bathtub and sink had orange rings around drains , which usually means they’re moldy.

Everything was great except our bathroom. There was still hairs in the shower and there was also pee stains on the toilet seat.

I would like to start by saying, I was excited and confident staying here due to the positive reviews. We arrived after 6 pm for our king suite. The room wasn’t ready, we had to wait a bit but were patient and the woman helping us was very kind, gave a $15 discount. She warns us that the carpet may be wet because they just cleaned it. We get to the room, the smell is awful, like feet/mildew/wet dog and the carpet is absolutely soaked. I’m assuming this smell comes from the soaking wet carpet, but regardless just gross and doesn’t feel healthy to breathe. Mind you, it’s Valentine’s Day, so not a very romantic environment. I held hope that the carpet would dry and the smell would go away. It was still completely soaked and smelled horrible up until check out the next day. Clothes that were accidentally left on the floor smelled putrid, my boyfriend threw away some of his clothes. I was wearing a white pair of PJ pants, they bottoms of them turned brown from the wet carpet, gross. Having driven 3 hours and knowing rooms were sold out, I decided to wait for my complaint until check out. I politely bring it up and am told “oh yes I heard about that” and brings up the $15 discount that was already given for the wait for the room to open. Something completely different. I was basically told to have a good day, while polite, I am very disappointed that no additional compensation was given. This was a special trip, on a holiday and we were given a disgusting room.

Room was much better than we expected. Clean and roomy. Lots of extras like pillows and linens. Beds were very comfortable. Wi-fi access was very easy. Didn’t stay for breakfast though it looked very good. Even had a pancake station. Would definitely stay again.

Not super clean, bed cover had blood stain, carpet not vacuumed, bed not comfortable. Location of room was next to back door, very noisy starting at 6am (lots of skiers)… for the high star rating on hotels.com we expected better…

Could hear everything going on in the surrounding rooms. Clearly the place cheaped out on sound proofing.

Got the one bedroom suite and it was HUGE. Worth the extra cost. Staff was super friendly and had a great 4 nights.

Quick and easy check-in so great having a crib in the room the rooms were so spacious and cozy! Loved having the pullout couch and the ability to have the crib my baby slept all night, long the first time!

Really friendly and helpful staff (esp. Alex in reception). No extra charges for basics such as wifi, unlike more expensive hotels elsewhere)

We were on a 2 week roadtrip and this hotel was the best for service. The room was clean, quiet & spacious. Nick at the front desk upgraded us and called us by name whenever we walked through the lobby, checking in to make sure everything was okay. The day we checked out it was very hot outside & the GM sent us with free cold drinks for our drive. Little things for sure, but lots of little kindnesses can mean a lot, especially when you’re on the road far from home. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We were happy staying at this Holiday Inn Express and Suites. We especially thank Alessandro at the front desk for going above and beyond to helping us with the safe deposit box and the refrigerator. From the front desk to the housekeeping and the dining, everyone was pleasant, accommodating and helpful to make our stay comfortable. I highly recommend this place to stay.

Check in experience was less than optimal. They checked in one of our two rooms to the wrong person with the same name. The night clerk had a nightmare of a time figuring out how to fix it even with confirmation numbers and receipts. Eventually the clerk had to call a manager from their home to come in and fix the problem. Wound up having to wait a good half hour plus to get into the room. Not the funnest thing to do at 3am. The olive branch they extended to make things okay was offering an ice cream cone to smooth it over. That was a little more than mildly insulting.

Close to the interstate close to attractions. Plenty of places to go and see in a walkable distance.

Loved our stay here! The location was excellent as it’s a short drive to White Mountain-area attractions, like Lost River, Franconia Notch State Park, and even Mount Washington (just ~40 mins away). The staff was super nice and accommodating and breakfast was perfect. Ample free parking was awesome. Location is also pretty close to many restaurants in Lincoln, which can be walked to or is just a short drive. Same goes for North Woodstock. Thank you for homey stay!

It’s been years since I’ve stayed at a Holiday Inn and I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms/common areas were clean. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. Kids loved the automatic pancake maker. My only request would be for more fresh fruit. The bananas and oranges were unappetizing. But, that’s being very picky, overall we enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend.
