The views were fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice with loads of choice and freshly made pancakes and eggs/omelettes. We ordered room service and some snacks by the pool a few times and the quality was nice, but it always took a pretty long time to serve. Cocktails and drinks were affordable too and very tasty. Some great staff members such as Mohamed, the chef in the restaurant grill . The shower mounted over an extremely slippery bathtub was very dangerous. Tge view of the Pyramids was really great. Great Swimming pool

Great view of pyramids from the balcony, plus the grand Egypt museum is across the road but because of the central reserve, you can’t walk across and must drive. Quite far from the airport but positively, away from crazy bustle of Cairo. Room was nice, bed is comfy, carpet could do with a shampoo, has outlet for uk plugs which is so helpful but sealant/grouting around bathroom shower is untidily applied and brings down the overall quality. Pool is very nice and there’s a small outdoor gym area. A spa would be nice but it’s still in construction. I think it will really enhance the hotel once it’s done

This was a good clean property with a lovely pool and reasonable dining options. It is very well located to the Pyramids (the name suggests that anyway). The staff were courteous and polite. A welcome drink would be a good addition.

Gardons un bon souvenir de cet hôtel. Propre. Tout le Personnel est agréable. Bon buffet pour le déjeurner. Vue incroyable des Pyramides de la chambre. Proche du Grand Musé et des Pyramides. Salle de bain besoin de rénovation. Contour du bain noirci et laisse echapper de l'eau. Difficile de trouver Uber dans le coin.

On aurait souhaité une attention plus minutieuse aux détails et moins de vétusté. Cela et le prix des boissons un peu excessif a légèrement entaché l'expérience générale, malgré les aspects positifs. The property was, overall ok. People were friendly and helpful. Common areas were clean the food was great. Security seemed good and very evident. The rooms need an upgrade. Beds were ok, linen was good, but the tile grout was dirty, the carpet as stained and looked dirty, the patio windows were filthy. The chairs were not pristine. The bathroom has a lot of glass and it was not very clean and glass hardware and joints were ugly. We got a good price, so value was there, but to pay their rack rate would have been a concern. Because of German owners, I would have expected more.

My room was nice! there was a bit of rust in my bathroom in the corner in the tub but it was only a little other than that i liked the room. I was a bit lost on why they didnt have a ice machine on my floor but they said to just call roomservice and they could bring it so i guess it wasnt a huge deal. And i kept getting locked out of my room for some reason i had to go to the front desk at least 3 times to get them to reactivate my room key. But honestly it was minor compaired to the time i had so i wasnt tripping and my room was only 2 floors up from the service desk. But the view of the prymids, the balcony that i had, the beautiful pool and the intresting food options were all so amazing!...i would love to stay there next summer when i come back to visit egypt hopefully it wont be booked up by then lol. But i enjoyed the hotel alot especially at night when they light up the pool and the prymids. Everyone who i showed videos to back home loved it and wanted to know where i stayed.if your looking for things to do your gonna have do drive a but because nothing is super close to the hotel but that wasnt a issue either since i had things planned for my stay there so remember aint no walking if your trying to go shopping or something lol

When we checked in, they rummaged through our luggage in the middle of the foyer. Three or four of them taking souvenirs out of our bags. Our clothes went everywhere. I think looking for a bribe. A lovely hotel with fabulous pool and awesome view of the pyramids from the room/ balcony and pool area. The staff especially at breakfast and the pool bar were not friendly and did offer good service. It felt like they were volunteers at the hotel. This all changed after I met Ms Manar from concierge. After sharing my first days experience, everything changed the next day onwards. Staff offered much better service. This was much appreciated. Manar helped us with planning our tours and following up personally. She resolved some issue I had as well. She is the best person at the hotel and the hotel is fortunate to have her. Without her intervention, I would have rated the hotel service as 2 star. Mohammed Omar from the pool bar and Dina from concierge also provided exceptional service. These are the role models for the hotel. Thanks

I state that I had to upgrade the room to go to the Steinberger Cairo Hotel to see the pyramids from the room paying a supplement of 200 dollars and they had assured me that I had breakfast, instead for both days I had to discuss the breakfast that they then granted me. After I had problems with the room that was without towels. Really bad service for a 5-star hotel paid a total of 292 euros for two nights. Also the breakfast is disappointing compared to our previous hotel Gewan always in Cairo

Property was clean & great views. Didn’t have the opportunity to use the restaurant for dining, but did use the bar. Prices were average, the cheese plate was great. Beautiful pool area. My room was clean and bright. Bathroom was ok. Had an issue with toilet not flushing properly and reported to front desk. Came back at end of day to find issue not addressed. Ceiling in room leaked in the middle of the night but was addressed promptly. Service by staff was just ok. Did not find the front end staff to be friendly at all. Did not provide details about the amenities upon check in. Did not make me feel welcomed. Another person in my party with separate booking had worse treatment. Probably the best hotel in the Giza area. We stayed here twice and both times were excellent. Amazing view of the pyramids in the museum. We checked out some of the other hotels around and this is definitely the nicest one! The breakfast buffet is the best in town and Chef Josh really took care of us at dinner picking us some specialty Egyptian items. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone

El hotel es muy bueno, pero las habitaciones que dicen tener vista a las pirámides no especifican que esto sólo se logra saliendo a la terraza para una vista lateral, sin embargo en la foto que publican las pirámides se ven directamente desde la ventana, lo que no es real. En las inmediaciones se están realizando obras de construcción del metro, por lo que sólo se puede entrar o salir del hotel en automóvil.

Perfectly good value for money. You have to sort of put aside the "5 star" label and just consider what you get for the price charged, which was very acceptable. Room was pretty comfy although a bit tired. The garden layout was attractive, the pool good. I'd question including apic with a view of the pyramids because you don't actually get that in this hotel. The area is midst a load of work aroudn the new museum, so chaos. Might be much better when all thats completed. but it is very close to the sites (not that walking around is easy or recommended!). Staff were helpful and friendly if not terribly proactive. Breakfast was OK with a good range of choice. My only niggle with the hotel is they charge 5* prices for drinks and food but bottom line its not really a 5* experience. but for the money, i'd go back. By the way book dinner overlooking the lights and music show by the Sphinx - at sunset. very cool.

Great view of pyramids from the balcony, plus the grand Egypt museum is across the road but because of the central reserve, you can’t walk across and must drive. Quite far from the airport but positively, away from crazy bustle of Cairo. Room was nice, bed is comfy, carpet could do with a shampoo, has outlet for uk plugs which is so helpful but sealant/grouting around bathroom shower is untidily applied and brings down the overall quality. Pool is very nice and there’s a small outdoor gym area. A spa would be nice but it’s still in construction. I think it will really enhance the hotel once it’s done

Very nice and friendly staff. Area around the hotel was unpleasent and unsafe. there was no place to go around the hotel and everything in the hotel was very expensive. Price range for the hotel should be much lower than what it is now.

The views were fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice with loads of choice and freshly made pancakes and eggs/omelettes. We ordered room service and some snacks by the pool a few times and the quality was nice, but it always took a pretty long time to serve. Cocktails and drinks were affordable too and very tasty. The New Year’s Eve event was expensive ($150 each) and only included 1 glass of wine. The dancers were great but the loud techno music blasted up out of the celebration early.

The rooms were large and comfortable. However, the hotel had no concierge (or at least I never saw one) and therefore making car arrangements was relegated to an on-site travel agency. The travel agency tended to charge quite a bit and told you where you wanted to go as opposed to you going where you wanted to go. The driver, however, was very good. Regarding food, I was not at all impressed with the buffets that they had for breakfast lunch and dinner. You couldn’t order from the menu during the day and had to order room service. The hotel is not in an area where it is easy to walk around. The staff at check-in were not particularly friendly or helpful.

It was a very pleasant stay at the Steigenberger Pyramids Cairo hotel. Perfect location if you’re interested in ancient Egypt - just across the street of Grand Egyptian Museum which is a must-see when in Cairo and very close to the pyramids of Giza. The breakfast buffet is overwhelming and the staff very attentive and polite. We had great help by the limo desk arranging two trips for us. The rooms are spacious, and although we only booked a room with spa view we were upgraded to a direct pyrmids view. Nice pool area eventhough we didn’t use it during our stay and an nice italian a la carte restaurant on premise.

Desde la llegada me sentí muy bien recibida , nos dieron la habitación súper rápido y temprano , El desayuno incluido era realmente delicioso con una gran variedad para todo gusto. La habitación espaciosa y muy limpia . Realmente recomiendo este hotel porque es muy bueno en comparación con el precio . Uber es muy conveniente seguro y barato.

The staff was very cordial and accommodating.We had a fantastic view of the pyramids from our balcony making it a very a short distance for our tour guide to have to drive however it is a bit longer in distance than expected from the airport. I can say that while both were affordably priced I enjoyed the breakfast food more than the dinner selection. I would suggest this location as a nice place to stay if visiting the area.

The hotel was lovely and staff very friendly. Not much option to walk anywhere from the hotel due to main roads across to the Pyramids and limited facilities around the hotel. The food in the hotel main restaurant is only a buffet style which wasn’t great.

Horrible experience. I even had food poisoning symptoms after I ate from room service. I had to pay for my medical expense myself, they just deducted the club sandwich from the bill. Unbelievable place, I do not recommend, overpriced for what it gives.

The property and the views to the Giza pyramids are good, the only downside of this is that the room had the ceiling cracked all over the room, so the A/C was not getting cold at all, it always stayed at 24 Celsius in the room.
