Absolutely wonderful hotel with brilliant friendly staff - I heartily recommend staying here the staff can’t do enough for you Sherif the new general manager is amazing and look out for Boushra and Osman in the reception as they are brilliant If you land on your feet and get Ahmed serving your room then you are onto a winner he has real eye to detail. The pools are heated to 29 degrees which is lovely and the hotel is fully accessible on a motability scooter which is amazing for me - I love the new Pier which has ramps into the sea - this is our families second time here and it quit honestly just keeps getting better and better

this is the second SUNRISE resort we visited and again it was great. Rooms and service is great. Clean, the pools are watched carefully which is handy with small kids. Food is pretty good at the buffet restaurant. Service can somewhat be less or missing certain finesse, but they do their best and that is appreciated. If you are bothered by the sales men (excursions, spa etc) approaching you when at the pool, you can get a red flag at the towel center to let them know you want to be left alone. Overall a pretty good experience once again.

This was a last minute decision because we had to cancel a reservation in another hotel. I read the reviews and decided on this one because it was rated extremely high as a family friendly and we were not disappointed. We took the family suite a spacious two bedroom, two bathroom unit. The children room is very cute with small desk and nice decorations so my kids loved it. The hotel has everything you want, amazing wide variety of food, several swimming pools and a decent sized aqua park. It has it's own beach and if you love snorkeling you can take a walk to a nice area with a bice coral. There is also a diving center. Close to shopping. The best was the staff. They greet you with a big smile and try their best to accomodate. Special thanks to Fahd froom room service who was extremely accomodating and helpful, Hamada from the swimming pools, Kareem a young chief from kitchen. But most staffs were amazing and you can see that they enjoyed their work. I definitely recommend it and I will go back in the future.

Returned from a week's break and can say that this hotel exceeded our expectations. Rooms are modern and clean. There's a choice of pools as well as the very fun waterpark-be prepared to climb a lot of stairs up to the top! There's seven Al la carte restaurants that you can use as part of an all inclusive deal deal. We ate at the Italian, Mexican and Asian ones and the service and food was brilliant. Top though, you need to book a reservation on the tablet in reception. We found that if you booked early in the morning, there were always reservations free for the following day. All in all, an excellent break and an excellent resort!

Parfait . Hôtel propre et récent en bord de plage. Il dispose d’un ponton où vous pourrez voir de multitude poissons, des raies etc… les restaurants sont garnis. Les chambres spacieuses. Les animations super ! Bref je recommande !

The hotel location was great, the beach was very nice and no litter, kids had a blast on the pool and the staff were super friendly and catered the whole family. The whole staff from reception to housekeeping were amazing even the maintenance team were professional. When it comes to food they served all cuisine special thanks to chef Mohamed. Animation team were highly active and lots of activities were ongoing. Slides were well maintained and safe and life guards were always alert. Definitely will be come back again. Thank you for the ultimate experience.

Das Resort ist super sauber, weitläufig und sehr schön gemacht. Es gibt mehrere Restaurants und dadurch ist das Essen sehr abwechslungsreich und die Qualität ist sehr gut. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Besonders gut hat uns die Animation gefallen. Jeden Abend gibt es Kinderdisco. Unsere Tochter hat es geliebt. Danach Abendprogramm mit Verschiedenen Themen. Danke an Asteka, Dima, Ahmet, Beso, Osman und das restliche Team 👍 Die Poolanlagen sind sauber, gut aufgebaut und sicher für Kinder. Mehrere Life Guards haben alles um Blick. Die Rutschen sind toll für Gruß und Klein. Der Spa-Bereich ist auch zu empfehlen. Wir haben einen tollen Urlaub verbracht und werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

Wir fühlen uns hier immer wieder wohl. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Zimmer sind sauber, werden aber nach ägypischem Standard gereinigt und das Bad könnte (Dusche und Waschbeckenamateur) würde sich mal über einen Entkalker freuen. Die Auswahl an Essen ist einfach nur grandios. Neben dem eigenem Hauptrestaurant kann man auch das des Schwerster Hotels nebenan nutzen. Darüber hinaus gibt es noch insgesamt 9 a la carte Restaurants, die eine Reservierung benötigen und dann kostenlos genutzt werden können. Wer hier nichts zu Essen findet ist selber schuld. An der Pool Bar meinen sie es bei den Cocktails manchmal etwas zu gut mit dem Alkohol, sodass es eine Cuba Libre manchmal mehr Cuba als Libre hat. Wir waren zum Sommerferienende dort und gab am Pool immer ausreichend Liegen, auch wenn es den ein oder anderen gab, der schon früh morgens sich welche reserviert hat, hatten wir immer um 9:30 Uhr noch eine große Auswahl an Plätzen. Da wir immer nachmittags am Strand waren, gab es auch dort immer noch liegen für uns. Es war nicht das erste Mal und es wird auch nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein, dass wir hier waren.

Très bon séjour mais... Très bon séjour, le personnel est super, le resort est bien arboré et propre. Le restaurant principal est très bien mais attention aux gâteaux avec de la mousse avec les coupures d'électricité en Egypte, on est tombé malade avec mon fils pendant 2 jours : crampes d'estomac, diarrhée... Préférer les pâtisseries orientales qui elle ne risquent rien avec le miel, idem pour les confitures préférer les pots industriels et fermés... Un autre point, il n'y a pas assez de transat au niveau des piscines, du coup il faut y aller avant 10h pour avoir une place. Sinon pour le reste c'était super, possibilité de manger dans différents restaurants tous les jours en s'inscrivant au préalable sans supplément. Les bars sont super et il y en a même un dans une des piscines qui donne aussi des granitas. Le système de serviette pour la piscine est bien rodé. La chambre est faite tous les jours. Un club enfant, une grande plage privée où on trouve assez facilement de la place. Un ponton pour plonger et voir les poissons et les corails surveillé par un maître nageur. Enfin le parc aquatique est extraordinaire, sensations fortes et amusements garantis.

This property is right on the Red Sea. On arrival, I complained that the app did not work, the online form does not work, and no one replies to emails, phone calls or messages. Our first room was dirty, their where red drops all over the restroom. They cleaned it, and missed spots. We complained and they moved us. At the massage parlor, we had to wear underwear during the sauna, steam and massage. Between each of those, the counter clerk would ask, "How are you?". Well, I\'m sweating and standing in my underwear and you are in my space. The Hamman was straight on the stone and uncomfortable. The massage lacked luster. They don\'t seem to understand customer service or comfort. The food at the resort was mediocre. Ice is like gold for them. The restaurant servers were awesome. There was someone making noise above us each night from 7pm to 3am and the staff would do nothing about it. If you like Mexican resorts, this place does not measure up. The app is so bad; it shows restaurants closed when they are open and the map is useless. I guarantee it doesn\'t get fixed because no one there seems to care about providing a quality experience. Even the shuttle was impossible to get.

Zimmer sind in einem ordentlichen Zustand, Betten sehr gut, Klimaanlage funktioniert gut. Badezimmer könnte modernisiert werden, Sauberkeit war dank des fleißigen Personals gut. Das Bier hat geschmeckt, der lokale Alkohol (gibt nur diesen) schlägt irgendwann auf den Magen.

Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Besonders gut hat uns die Animation gefallen. Jeden Abend gibt es Kinderdisco. Unsere Tochter hat es geliebt. Danach Abendprogramm mit Verschiedenen Themen. Danke an Asteka, Dima, Ahmet, Beso, Osman und das restliche Team 👍 Die Poolanlagen sind sauber, gut aufgebaut und sicher für Kinder. Mehrere Life Guards haben alles um Blick. Die Rutschen sind toll für Gruß und Klein. Der Spa-Bereich ist auch zu empfehlen. Wir haben einen tollen Urlaub verbracht und werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

Wir fühlen uns hier immer wieder wohl. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Zimmer sind sauber, werden aber nach ägypischem Standard gereinigt und das Bad könnte (Dusche und Waschbeckenamateur) würde sich mal über einen Entkalker freuen. Die Auswahl an Essen ist einfach nur grandios. Neben dem eigenem Hauptrestaurant kann man auch das des Schwerster Hotels nebenan nutzen. Darüber hinaus gibt es noch insgesamt 9 a la carte Restaurants, die eine Reservierung benötigen und dann kostenlos genutzt werden können. Wer hier nichts zu Essen findet ist selber schuld. An der Pool Bar meinen sie es bei den Cocktails manchmal etwas zu gut mit dem Alkohol, sodass es eine Cuba Libre manchmal mehr Cuba als Libre hat. Wir waren zum Sommerferienende dort und gab am Pool immer ausreichend Liegen, auch wenn es den ein oder anderen gab, der schon früh morgens sich welche reserviert hat, hatten wir immer um 9:30 Uhr noch eine große Auswahl an Plätzen. This property is right on the Red Sea. On arrival, I complained that the app did not work, the online form does not work, and no one replies to emails, phone calls or messages. Our first room was dirty, their where red drops all over the restroom. They cleaned it, and missed spots. We complained and they moved us. At the massage parlor, we had to wear underwear during the sauna, steam and massage. Between each of those, the counter clerk would ask, "How are you?". Well, I\'m sweating and standing in my underwear and you are in my space. The Hamman was straight on the stone and uncomfortable. The massage lacked luster. They don\'t seem to understand customer service or comfort. The food at the resort was mediocre. Ice is like gold for them. The restaurant servers were awesome. There was someone making noise above us each night from 7pm to 3am and the staff would do nothing about it. If you like Mexican resorts, this place does not measure up. The app is so bad; it shows restaurants closed when they are open and the map is useless. I guarantee it doesn\'t get fixed because no one there seems to care about providing a quality experience. Even the shuttle was impossible to get.

This was a last minute decision because we had to cancel a reservation in another hotel. I read the reviews and decided on this one because it was rated extremely high as a family friendly and we were not disappointed. We took the family suite a spacious two bedroom, two bathroom unit. The children room is very cute with small desk and nice decorations so my kids loved it. The hotel has everything you want, amazing wide variety of food, several swimming pools and a decent sized aqua park. It has it's own beach and if you love snorkeling you can take a walk to a nice area with a bice coral. There is also a diving center. Close to shopping. The best was the staff. They greet you with a big smile and try their best to accomodate. Special thanks to Fahd froom room service who was extremely accomodating and helpful, Hamada from the swimming pools, Kareem a young chief from kitchen. But most staffs were amazing and you can see that they enjoyed their work. I definitely recommend it and I will go back in the future.

Returned from a week's break and can say that this hotel exceeded our expectations. Rooms are modern and clean. There's a choice of pools as well as the very fun waterpark-be prepared to climb a lot of stairs up to the top! There's seven Al la carte restaurants that you can use as part of an all inclusive deal deal. We ate at the Italian, Mexican and Asian ones and the service and food was brilliant. Top though, you need to book a reservation on the tablet in reception. We found that if you booked early in the morning, there were always reservations free for the following day. All in all, an excellent break and an excellent resort!

Sono molto amareggiata perché durante il soggiorno ho tentato più volte di mettermi in contatto con Hotel.com. Purtroppo non sono stata avvisata che in questo bellissimo hotel ci sono ben 3 cantieri . Uno di questi situato proprio davanti alla mia stanza che ho pagato e te per la vista mare e per la vicinanza alla spiaggia, visto che con me era la mia mamma di 70 anni! Dalla mattina alle 8 fino alle 17:30 non stop ci sono 2 Martelli pneumatici e generatori di corrente che non si fermano per un solo attimo. La cosa più vergognosa e che l’ho pagato a un prezzo normalissimo…. Avrei avuto il diritto di essere avvisata in modo da valutare un altro hotel… per questo motivo sto valutando di avviare una pratica di querela in promos con hotel.com perché io , mia sorella e mia mamma eravamo andate per rilassaci. Tutt’altro sono tornata veramente esausta! Erano le mie uniche ferie, e non ho potuto riposare!

My husband and i have stayed at this hotel around 6 times and always seemed to enjoy it,Unfortunately this visit with other members of my family and grandchildren was not so enjoyable. We went for 10 days and each visit to either breakfast,lunch,or dinner was always a fight to get a table we also varied the times we went but it made no difference,never any proper fresh orange of a morning and when asked for some was given pineapple diluted i might add and told that was it but also my grandchildren had cola but it was served in red hot glasses. The food was definitely not up to normal standard i know food is repetitive when you are away but on a whole i normally find something to eat but not this visit. Also what i noticed was that fruit is normally a part of the all-inclusive but as alot of people like water melon many times it was with held to serve on the beach at an extra cost WRONG. I personally felt that when this hotel is busy the staff cannot cope their manners were a joke we witnessed far too much this visit to ever want to return Unfortunately many times our beach towels was removed from our beds yet we only went to the bar,our air-conditioning didnt work for 4 nights when we complained they literally didnt believe us let alone even seem bothered,we was awake to 27.5 degrees in our room so i called a meeting with the front desk manager Mr Mohamed Ashour who said he would get his technicians to look (motor went) so we was right anyway will i be back no sorry Sunrise.

Absolutely wonderful hotel with brilliant friendly staff - I heartily recommend staying here the staff can’t do enough for you Sherif the new general manager is amazing and look out for Boushra and Osman in the reception as they are brilliant If you land on your feet and get Ahmed serving your room then you are onto a winner he has real eye to detail. The pools are heated to 29 degrees which is lovely and the hotel is fully accessible on a motability scooter which is amazing for me - I love the new Pier which has ramps into the sea - this is our families second time here and it quit honestly just keeps getting better and better

Worst experience ever by being physically attacked by a east European guest and hotel management discouraging you to call police as it happened on our last day. The lenghty investigation would delay our departure, they said. Stay away from resorts with a former East Block clientele.

Amazing experience, the whole staff are very friendly and professional. Main restaurant was amazing big variety of food and different cuisine, special thanks to chef Mohamed. Animation team were amazing, the kids had a blast as well as me. I will definitely come back soon.

The hotel location was great, the beach was very nice and no litter, kids had a blast on the pool and the staff were super friendly and catered the whole family. The whole staff from reception to housekeeping were amazing even the maintenance team were professional. When it comes to food they served all cuisine special thanks to chef Mohamed. Animation team were highly active and lots of activities were ongoing. Slides were well maintained and safe and life guards were always alert. Definitely will be come back again. Thank you for the ultimate experience.

Had an enjoyable 8 day stay with our 19 year old daughter. Service is impeccable. Lots of food choices in the buffet for all meals & lots of included a la carte restaurants for evening meals. We had no problems getting reservations, even on the same day or more choices if you booked for the following evening. For a 5 star hotel & with everything else being so fabulous the only let down were the drinks choices which were disappointing. Drinks & Cocktails were very basic with not much choice. Even with only having local spirits, they could make some ice-cream cocktails. We would return though as everything else was great.

This property is right on the Red Sea. On arrival, I complained that the app did not work, the online form does not work, and no one replies to emails, phone calls or messages. Our first room was dirty, their where red drops all over the restroom. They cleaned it, and missed spots. We complained and they moved us. At the massage parlor, we had to wear underwear during the sauna, steam and massage. Between each of those, the counter clerk would ask, "How are you?". Well, I\'m sweating and standing in my underwear and you are in my space. The Hamman was straight on the stone and uncomfortable. The massage lacked luster. They don\'t seem to understand customer service or comfort. The food at the resort was mediocre. Ice is like gold for them. The restaurant servers were awesome. There was someone making noise above us each night from 7pm to 3am and the staff would do nothing about it. If you like Mexican resorts, this place does not measure up. This was a last minute decision because we had to cancel a reservation in another hotel. I read the reviews and decided on this one because it was rated extremely high as a family friendly and we were not disappointed. We took the family suite a spacious two bedroom, two bathroom unit. The children room is very cute with small desk and nice decorations so my kids loved it. The hotel has everything you want, amazing wide variety of food, several swimming pools and a decent sized aqua park. It has it's own beach and if you love snorkeling you can take a walk to a nice area with a bice coral. There is also a diving center. Close to shopping. The best was the staff. They greet you with a big smile and try their best to accomodate. Special thanks to Fahd froom room service who was extremely accomodating and helpful, Hamada from the swimming pools, Kareem a young chief from kitchen. But most staffs were amazing and you can see that they enjoyed their work. I definitely recommend it and I will go back in the future.

The hotel location was great, the beach was very nice and no litter, kids had a blast on the pool and the staff were super friendly and catered the whole family. The whole staff from reception to housekeeping were amazing even the maintenance team were professional. When it comes to food they served all cuisine special thanks to chef Mohamed. Animation team were highly active and lots of activities were ongoing. Slides were well maintained and safe and life guards were always alert. Definitely will be come back again. Thank you for the ultimate experience.

Sono molto amareggiata perché durante il soggiorno ho tentato più volte di mettermi in contatto con Hotel.com. Purtroppo non sono stata avvisata che in questo bellissimo hotel ci sono ben 3 cantieri . Uno di questi situato proprio davanti alla mia stanza che ho pagato e te per la vista mare e per la vicinanza alla spiaggia, visto che con me era la mia mamma di 70 anni! Dalla mattina alle 8 fino alle 17:30 non stop ci sono 2 Martelli pneumatici e generatori di corrente che non si fermano per un solo attimo. La cosa più vergognosa e che l’ho pagato a un prezzo normalissimo…. Avrei avuto il diritto di essere avvisata in modo da valutare un altro hotel… per questo motivo sto valutando di avviare una pratica di querela in promos con hotel.com perché io , mia sorella e mia mamma eravamo andate per rilassaci. Tutt’altro sono tornata veramente esausta! Erano le mie uniche ferie, e non ho potuto riposare!

Très bon séjour mais... Très bon séjour, le personnel est super, le resort est bien arboré et propre. Le restaurant principal est très bien mais attention aux gâteaux avec de la mousse avec les coupures d'électricité en Egypte, on est tombé malade avec mon fils pendant 2 jours : crampes d'estomac, diarrhée... Préférer les pâtisseries orientales qui elle ne risquent rien avec le miel, idem pour les confitures préférer les pots industriels et fermés... Un autre point, il n'y a pas assez de transat au niveau des piscines, du coup il faut y aller avant 10h pour avoir une place. Sinon pour le reste c'était super, possibilité de manger dans différents restaurants tous les jours en s'inscrivant au préalable sans supplément. Les bars sont super et il y en a même un dans une des piscines qui donne aussi des granitas. Le système de serviette pour la piscine est bien rodé. La chambre est faite tous les jours. Un club enfant, une grande plage privée où on trouve assez facilement de la place. Un ponton pour plonger et voir les poissons et les corails surveillé par un maître nageur. Enfin le parc aquatique est extraordinaire, sensations fortes et amusements garantis.

We have visited this hotel a few times, we ended up checking out a couple of days early as we both had sickness and upset stomach the whole time we was there just as we thought it was getting better every time we would eat something we were running for the toilet to be sick or need the toilet, the food is the same everyday, the eggs are raw was at breakfast, sun beds on the beach was a big issue not enough of them, we was having to get up at 6:30am to get a bed, drinks was in very small paper cups, the mini bar on visit before has been refilled everyday and on this stay was filled up once every 7 days. Be warned they do not accept Egyptian pounds anywhere in the hotel it’s USD or Euros they want. To sum the hotel up me and my family will not be returning and are looking for alternative hotels on the island.

Zimmer sind in einem ordentlichen Zustand, Betten sehr gut, Klimaanlage funktioniert gut. Badezimmer könnte modernisiert werden, Sauberkeit war dank des fleißigen Personals gut. Das Bier hat geschmeckt, der lokale Alkohol (gibt nur diesen) schlägt irgendwann auf den Magen.

Returned from a week's break and can say that this hotel exceeded our expectations. Rooms are modern and clean. There's a choice of pools as well as the very fun waterpark-be prepared to climb a lot of stairs up to the top! There's seven Al la carte restaurants that you can use as part of an all inclusive deal deal. We ate at the Italian, Mexican and Asian ones and the service and food was brilliant. Top though, you need to book a reservation on the tablet in reception. We found that if you booked early in the morning, there were always reservations free for the following day. All in all, an excellent break and an excellent resort!

Wir waren das erste Mal in diesem Hotel und es war wirklich ein wundervoller Aufenthalt. Das Speisenangebot war außergewöhnlich gut. Das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Anlage hat wirklich viel zu bieten. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Had an enjoyable 8 day stay with our 19 year old daughter. Service is impeccable. Lots of food choices in the buffet for all meals & lots of included a la carte restaurants for evening meals. We had no problems getting reservations, even on the same day or more choices if you booked for the following evening. For a 5 star hotel & with everything else being so fabulous the only let down were the drinks choices which were disappointing. Drinks & Cocktails were very basic with not much choice. Even with only having local spirits, they could make some ice-cream cocktails. We would return though as everything else was great.

Die Zimmer sind sauber, werden aber nach ägypischem Standard gereinigt und das Bad könnte (Dusche und Waschbeckenamateur) würde sich mal über einen Entkalker freuen. Die Auswahl an Essen ist einfach nur grandios. Neben dem eigenem Hauptrestaurant kann man auch das des Schwerster Hotels nebenan nutzen. Darüber hinaus gibt es noch insgesamt 9 a la carte Restaurants, die eine Reservierung benötigen und dann kostenlos genutzt werden können. Wer hier nichts zu Essen findet ist selber schuld. An der Pool Bar meinen sie es bei den Cocktails manchmal etwas zu gut mit dem Alkohol, sodass es eine Cuba Libre manchmal mehr Cuba als Libre hat. Wir waren zum Sommerferienende dort und gab am Pool immer ausreichend Liegen, auch wenn es den ein oder anderen gab, der schon früh morgens sich welche reserviert hat, hatten wir immer um 9:30 Uhr noch eine große Auswahl an Plätzen. Da wir immer nachmittags am Strand waren, gab es auch dort immer noch liegen für uns. Es war nicht das erste Mal und es wird auch nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein, dass wir hier waren.

We had an absolutely wonderful family holiday at Sunrise Garden Beach Resort in Hurghada! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.
