So far as the hotel is concerned I do not have a single complaint about. The rooms and public areas were clean and well tended, the gardens are a delight. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and bent over backwards to provide excellent service. A special shout out to Romel in Yades - though there were many others whose names I did not get; he served us every breakfast and lunch. We also had massages in the Spa which were excellent. The only area of concern was in respect of the beauty salon, we were offered and accepted on my part 2 x facials and 2 x manicure my partner also had a 2 x pedicure. He was reasonably happy with his pedicure, but the manicure and facial fell well short of what I would expect. Facial - no cleanse at start just 3 consecutive masks; each wiped off which a damp sponge not properly cleansed and lastly a lick of moisturiser whole time 23 minutes- usual time one hour, Manicure no finger soak no hand massage, poor filing of the nails used a sawing motions when it should be one way rough and hurried treatment of cuticle, but worst of all the clippers etc were not sterilised between customers. Total time 17 minutes usual time one hour. As the deal included two I went back to see if that had been a bad day - but know just even quicker and new clear nail polish was applied over old instead of removing it. I doubt any of the staff are professionally trained.

I had a great stay at Sunrise Crystal Bay resort. The general manager Mr Tarek and his customer care service are fabulous people. They solved the little issues i had and made sure my stay was wonderful. The food was great either in the main restaurant and in the Indian restaurant where i had a fantastic dinner. I also had a breakfast at the Greek restaurant and it was great !! The pools are great!! The beach is cool and clean. I really felt like in an international 5 stars hotel.

The hotel was nice - rooms were basic but the amenities were good. I liked the variety of food available which always tasted fresh. Sometimes felt the food was similar between restaurants. The kids areas need more work and more things available as the play area is outdoors and very basic and some of the events are in the evening when kids are asleep.

Just returned from SUNRISE Crystal Bay Resort and it was absolutely amazing. We had a suite with the ocean view, which was spectacular, especially in the morning and evening. The rooms were spacious with enough storage. Room was cleaned daily and our housekeeper was great. We were based closed to the beach and made friends with the lifeguard Mouhmoud, who would always stop for a chat and help us with the towles and sunbeds. I am quite an active person, so was going to the gym every day. Special thanks to the attendant there, who was always helpful with the advice about how to use the equipment. Upon arrival I had a spa treatment consisting of a hamam, following two massage sessions afterwards and that's just out of this world. Special thanks to receptionist there Elena and Mona, who I had the massages with. Out of five restaurants you could have meal in the evening, Mangal was our favourite, where the selection of meat was grilled to perfection. And finally big big thank you to Ahmed El Souady, who was our waiter at the main restaurant, quick as a wind with our drinks, sometimes getting them even before we ask and always friendly, attentive and smiley.

Vi reiste hit for en avslappende tur på over to uker. Hoved fokuset var å slappe av på resortet, sole, bade og spise god mat. Alle krav ble møtt og vi var alt i alt veldig fornøyde! Hotellet så bra ut og uteområdet var helt fantastisk. Flere basseng med ulike temperaturer, plus en egen liten sand strand. Anbefaler å bestille med all-inclusive. Da får man stort utvalg av mat og drikke(samt alkohol og drinker) og dessert. Mesteparten av maten er av god kvalitet! Meieriprodukter og brød er selvfølgelig ikke deres spesialitet, men di har mye ellers mye bra. 7 restauranter med ulike cusine. Indisk, gresk, arabisk grill osv.. Når man ligger rundt pool og strandområdet på solsengene så får man servert drikke hele dagen om man ønsker. Eneste minuset er slitte, gamle rom, dårlig internett og litt masete butikk/kiosk arbeidere som tar veldig dyre priser for varene. Anbefaler deg å ta en 10 min gåtur til nærmeste matbutikk på et shoppingcenter i nærheten. Ellers spilles en del høy musikk rundt bassenget da noen innleide ungdommer har flere aktiviteter på dagtid. Kan oppleves som kjekt og underholdende eller litt irriterende(etter to uker).

Arriver pour une seule nuit dans l’urgence car mon autre hôtel était annulé. Ils ont été vraiment aimable se sont bien occupé de nous et on fait leur maximum pour que nous puissions nous reposer. C’est un cadre magnifique de luxe propre et convivial.

The place is impressive. The best resort I have ever visited. Very clean, with many choices in food and drinks. What makes this place special is its people, a big thank you for the perfect hospitality to Mado, Jimmy, Cooper and Crush from animation team also Aziz from Housekeeping management team. Of course I'll be back next year.

Wir machen vom 28. Juni zum 5.Juli dort. Unser Checkin hat fast über 1 Stunde gedauert, die Mitarbeiter haben uns teilweise nicht verstanden. Auch später, wenn wir uns mal in der Lobby aufgehalten haben, habe ich gemerkt, dass der Check in generell auch bei anderen Besuchern ziemlich lange dauert. Nach so einer langen Reise hat man da meistens keine Lust drauf, so lange zu warten und die Check in Zeit war schon längst fällig. Generell ist das Hotel ruhig und sehr angenehm, wenn in einem tollen Meer schwimmen möchte, sollte lieber woanders hingehen. Die Poolanlage war super, das Mangal Restaurant hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Generell gibt es eine sehr große Auswahl an Essen, wobei das Abendbuffet im Hauptrestaurant uns nicht extrem angesprochen hat. Wir machen vom 28. Juni zum 5.Juli dort. Unser Checkin hat fast über 1 Stunde gedauert, die Mitarbeiter haben uns teilweise nicht verstanden. Auch später, wenn wir uns mal in der Lobby aufgehalten haben, habe ich gemerkt, dass der Check in generell auch bei anderen Besuchern ziemlich lange dauert. Nach so einer langen Reise hat man da meistens keine Lust drauf, so lange zu warten und die Check in Zeit war schon längst fällig. Generell ist das Hotel ruhig und sehr angenehm, wenn in einem tollen Meer schwimmen möchte, sollte lieber woanders hingehen. Die Poolanlage war super, das Mangal Restaurant hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Generell gibt es eine sehr große Auswahl an Essen, wobei das Abendbuffet im Hauptrestaurant uns nicht extrem angesprochen hat. We stayed 5 nights in June! Everything was perfect. Rooms and all other amenities were clean and top. The only negative was price of hotel taxi and spa! Other than that was relaxing and quit. Beach clean and sandy. We felt like home even they provided us with lunch box at travel day!! Special thanks to sayed from room service!! He was the best! We will come back for sure.

The hotel was nice - rooms were basic but the amenities were good. I liked the variety of food available which always tasted fresh. Sometimes felt the food was similar between restaurants. The kids areas need more work and more things available as the play area is outdoors and very basic and some of the events are in the evening when kids are asleep.

Listen, this resort is amazing!!! We were sooo impressed with everything. The food options and the quality of the food is phenomenal and there is always something you will find to enjoy. The only thing we weren’t crazy about was the far walk from our room. Which was completely our fault because we chose sea side view and it was an AMAZING view but it was so far from the lobby and restaurant etc but apart from that, the experience here was perfect. We will definitely come back soon. Thanks for an unforgettable experience!

Our stay was perfect. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. The a la carte restaurant Mangal was the best highlight for our evenings. Thanks to chef Mohammed Ibrahim and all the staff there. All the other a la carte restaurants are bad, but staff is trying their best to make you enjoy your meals. The staff deserves the best rating for this review I am writing they made our stay much better then expected. The junior suite with seaview is amazing I recommend this room. The main restaurant only the breakfast is perfect, the lunch, dinner is very bad. Best to eat snacks at Yades at the beach. The Oasis beach bar Mohammed Derar is super super nice great service. Really all of the staff deserves a big appreciation. The animation team is sleeping need some training and experience. The shows are super short and very boring. There is no music in the beach only 3 songs for the whole day.

Just returned from SUNRISE Crystal Bay Resort and it was absolutely amazing. We had a suite with the ocean view, which was spectacular, especially in the morning and evening. The rooms were spacious with enough storage. Room was cleaned daily and our housekeeper was great. We were based closed to the beach and made friends with the lifeguard Mouhmoud, who would always stop for a chat and help us with the towles and sunbeds. I am quite an active person, so was going to the gym every day. Special thanks to the attendant there, who was always helpful with the advice about how to use the equipment. Upon arrival I had a spa treatment consisting of a hamam, following two massage sessions afterwards and that's just out of this world. Special thanks to receptionist there Elena and Mona, who I had the massages with. Out of five restaurants you could have meal in the evening, Mangal was our favourite, where the selection of meat was grilled to perfection. And finally big big thank you to Ahmed El Souady, who was our waiter at the main restaurant, quick as a wind with our drinks, sometimes getting them even before we ask and always friendly, attentive and smiley.

Vi reiste hit for en avslappende tur på over to uker. Hoved fokuset var å slappe av på resortet, sole, bade og spise god mat. Alle krav ble møtt og vi var alt i alt veldig fornøyde! Hotellet så bra ut og uteområdet var helt fantastisk. Flere basseng med ulike temperaturer, plus en egen liten sand strand. Anbefaler å bestille med all-inclusive. Da får man stort utvalg av mat og drikke(samt alkohol og drinker) og dessert. Mesteparten av maten er av god kvalitet! Meieriprodukter og brød er selvfølgelig ikke deres spesialitet, men di har mye ellers mye bra. 7 restauranter med ulike cusine. Indisk, gresk, arabisk grill osv.. Når man ligger rundt pool og strandområdet på solsengene så får man servert drikke hele dagen om man ønsker. Eneste minuset er slitte, gamle rom, dårlig internett og litt masete butikk/kiosk arbeidere som tar veldig dyre priser for varene. Anbefaler deg å ta en 10 min gåtur til nærmeste matbutikk på et shoppingcenter i nærheten. Ellers spilles en del høy musikk rundt bassenget da noen innleide ungdommer har flere aktiviteter på dagtid. Kan oppleves som kjekt og underholdende eller litt irriterende(etter to uker).

We stayed for 10 days in one of their Junior suites, and while we had a great time, I'm not sure I would rate Crystal Bay as a 5 star hotel. It is however definitely a very good 4 . The hotel has a very large footprint so if you're situated down near the lagoon (as we were) then it can be a bit of a hike to get to the main part of the hotel. The flip side of this is though that the hotel doesn't feel crowded and getting things like loungers or a drink is no problem at all. There is genuinely nothing majorly negative I can say about this hotel, the staff are amazing (shout out to Sameh at the Oasis beach bar), the grounds are immaculate, and the food in the a la carte restaurants is fantastic (Try the Kashmiri Lamb Rogan Josh at Manohar!!!). If I had to mark it down it would be based on the consistency between bars/restaurants i.e. a coffee or drink in one bar can be quite different to the next bar. Also, the people trying to sell you spa or beauty treatments while you are just lying by the beach is quite annoying (we had 4 approaches on our first morning), although we did discover you can grab a red flag from the towel station to combat this.

So far as the hotel is concerned I do not have a single complaint about. The rooms and public areas were clean and well tended, the gardens are a delight. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and bent over backwards to provide excellent service. A special shout out to Romel in Yades - though there were many others whose names I did not get; he served us every breakfast and lunch. We also had massages in the Spa which were excellent. The only area of concern was in respect of the beauty salon, we were offered and accepted on my part 2 x facials and 2 x manicure my partner also had a 2 x pedicure. He was reasonably happy with his pedicure, but the manicure and facial fell well short of what I would expect. Facial - no cleanse at start just 3 consecutive masks; each wiped off which a damp sponge not properly cleansed and lastly a lick of moisturiser whole time 23 minutes- usual time one hour, Manicure no finger soak no hand massage, poor filing of the nails used a sawing motions when it should be one way rough and hurried treatment of cuticle, but worst of all the clippers etc were not sterilised between customers. Total time 17 minutes usual time one hour. As the deal included two I went back to see if that had been a bad day - but know just even quicker and new clear nail polish was applied over old instead of removing it. I doubt any of the staff are professionally trained.

I would not recommend this place due to the behavior of staff at checkout. I had accidentally left one pool towel at the pool and did not have the pool card to return. The check out staff did not believe my account and charged me 15$ for a pool towel. It was just a horrible experience.

I had a great stay at Sunrise Crystal Bay resort. The general manager Mr Tarek and his customer care service are fabulous people. They solved the little issues i had and made sure my stay was wonderful. The food was great either in the main restaurant and in the Indian restaurant where i had a fantastic dinner. I also had a breakfast at the Greek restaurant and it was great !! The pools are great!! The beach is cool and clean. I really felt like in an international 5 stars hotel.

Fantastisk fed oplevelse på hotellet. Masser af aktiviteter på resortet og bedste personale. Personalet var meget hjælpsomme og altid klar når du vi gav dem et kald. Børnevenligt, med flot udsigt til vandet. Helt klart et sted vi vil komme tilbage til.

Listen, this resort is amazing!!! We were sooo impressed with everything. The food options and the quality of the food is phenomenal and there is always something you will find to enjoy. The only thing we weren’t crazy about was the far walk from our room. Which was completely our fault because we chose sea side view and it was an AMAZING view but it was so far from the lobby and restaurant etc but apart from that, the experience here was perfect. We will definitely come back soon. Thanks for an unforgettable experience!

Just returned from SUNRISE Crystal Bay Resort and it was absolutely amazing. We had a suite with the ocean view, which was spectacular, especially in the morning and evening. The rooms were spacious with enough storage. Room was cleaned daily and our housekeeper was great. We were based closed to the beach and made friends with the lifeguard Mouhmoud, who would always stop for a chat and help us with the towles and sunbeds. I am quite an active person, so was going to the gym every day. Special thanks to the attendant there, who was always helpful with the advice about how to use the equipment. Upon arrival I had a spa treatment consisting of a hamam, following two massage sessions afterwards and that's just out of this world. Special thanks to receptionist there Elena and Mona, who I had the massages with. Out of five restaurants you could have meal in the evening, Mangal was our favourite, where the selection of meat was grilled to perfection. And finally big big thank you to Ahmed El Souady, who was our waiter at the main restaurant, quick as a wind with our drinks, sometimes getting them even before we ask and always friendly, attentive and smiley.

Wir machen vom 28. Juni zum 5.Juli dort. Unser Checkin hat fast über 1 Stunde gedauert, die Mitarbeiter haben uns teilweise nicht verstanden. Auch später, wenn wir uns mal in der Lobby aufgehalten haben, habe ich gemerkt, dass der Check in generell auch bei anderen Besuchern ziemlich lange dauert. Nach so einer langen Reise hat man da meistens keine Lust drauf, so lange zu warten und die Check in Zeit war schon längst fällig. Generell ist das Hotel ruhig und sehr angenehm, wenn in einem tollen Meer schwimmen möchte, sollte lieber woanders hingehen. Die Poolanlage war super, das Mangal Restaurant hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Generell gibt es eine sehr große Auswahl an Essen, wobei das Abendbuffet im Hauptrestaurant uns nicht extrem angesprochen hat. Man merkt, dass das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen ist, an den Zimmern, diese wurden wahrscheinlich später renoviert, das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich und unser Zimmer war jeden Tag sauber. Die Bettwäschen sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Bedienung am Pool und auch am Meer waren immer sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Animation im Hotel ist absolut ausreichend und angenehm, für jede Altersgruppe ist etwas dabei. An unserem Checkout Tag habe ich bereits 1 Stunde vor Check out ständig an der Rezeption angerufen, damit ein Golf Baggy uns beziehungsweise unsere Koffer abholen kann. Somit war auch der Check out mühsam. Für einen all inclusive aus Urlaub ist das Hotel super und vollkommen ausreichend. Die Preisleistung ist top!

Das Sunrise Crystal ist einfach nur Perfekt. Wunderschöne Anlage, eine wunderschöne Bucht, hervorragendes Essen und freundliche Mitarbeiter. Besonders Sharif am Strandrestaurant war besonders aufmerksam. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Das Hotel ist mit seinen vielen Restaurants wirklich wärmstens zu empfehlen . Das Personal (Service und Animation) sind wirklich super, und das Hotel bietet einen schönen Strand und Pool.

We stayed 5 nights in June! Everything was perfect. Rooms and all other amenities were clean and top. The only negative was price of hotel taxi and spa! Other than that was relaxing and quit. Beach clean and sandy. We felt like home even they provided us with lunch box at travel day!! Special thanks to sayed from room service!! He was the best! We will come back for sure.

Vi reiste hit for en avslappende tur på over to uker. Hoved fokuset var å slappe av på resortet, sole, bade og spise god mat. Alle krav ble møtt og vi var alt i alt veldig fornøyde! Hotellet så bra ut og uteområdet var helt fantastisk. Flere basseng med ulike temperaturer, plus en egen liten sand strand. Anbefaler å bestille med all-inclusive. Da får man stort utvalg av mat og drikke(samt alkohol og drinker) og dessert. Mesteparten av maten er av god kvalitet! Meieriprodukter og brød er selvfølgelig ikke deres spesialitet, men di har mye ellers mye bra. 7 restauranter med ulike cusine. Indisk, gresk, arabisk grill osv.. Når man ligger rundt pool og strandområdet på solsengene så får man servert drikke hele dagen om man ønsker. Eneste minuset er slitte, gamle rom, dårlig internett og litt masete butikk/kiosk arbeidere som tar veldig dyre priser for varene. Anbefaler deg å ta en 10 min gåtur til nærmeste matbutikk på et shoppingcenter i nærheten. Ellers spilles en del høy musikk rundt bassenget da noen innleide ungdommer har flere aktiviteter på dagtid. Kan oppleves som kjekt og underholdende eller litt irriterende(etter to uker).

We stayed for 10 days in one of their Junior suites, and while we had a great time, I'm not sure I would rate Crystal Bay as a 5 star hotel. It is however definitely a very good 4 . The hotel has a very large footprint so if you're situated down near the lagoon (as we were) then it can be a bit of a hike to get to the main part of the hotel. The flip side of this is though that the hotel doesn't feel crowded and getting things like loungers or a drink is no problem at all. There is genuinely nothing majorly negative I can say about this hotel, the staff are amazing (shout out to Sameh at the Oasis beach bar), the grounds are immaculate, and the food in the a la carte restaurants is fantastic (Try the Kashmiri Lamb Rogan Josh at Manohar!!!). If I had to mark it down it would be based on the consistency between bars/restaurants i.e. a coffee or drink in one bar can be quite different to the next bar. Also, the people trying to sell you spa or beauty treatments while you are just lying by the beach is quite annoying (we had 4 approaches on our first morning), although we did discover you can grab a red flag from the towel station to combat this.

Our stay was perfect. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. The a la carte restaurant Mangal was the best highlight for our evenings. Thanks to chef Mohammed Ibrahim and all the staff there. All the other a la carte restaurants are bad, but staff is trying their best to make you enjoy your meals. The staff deserves the best rating for this review I am writing they made our stay much better then expected. The junior suite with seaview is amazing I recommend this room. The main restaurant only the breakfast is perfect, the lunch, dinner is very bad. Best to eat snacks at Yades at the beach. The Oasis beach bar Mohammed Derar is super super nice great service. Really all of the staff deserves a big appreciation. The animation team is sleeping need some training and experience. The shows are super short and very boring. There is no music in the beach only 3 songs for the whole day.

It was a great vacation, the atmosphere was excellent, the receptionist staff were friendly and helpful and upgrade our room from standard to deluxe, and the rooms were clean and comfortable also there were a lot of activities on the beach and pool, the food in the main restaurant provided a low variety and quality of food but the a la cart restaurants were amazing my recommendation Elia, mangal and Indian restaurants The snacks in the beach restaurant was delicious and tasty (yades) also the animation team was so kind, joyful and helpful finally, overall the accommodation was very good special thanks to mr.mazen the head of indian restaurant for his advice and helping us to select the best a la carte restaurants.

The hotel has a very large footprint so if you're situated down near the lagoon (as we were) then it can be a bit of a hike to get to the main part of the hotel. The flip side of this is though that the hotel doesn't feel crowded and getting things like loungers or a drink is no problem at all. There is genuinely nothing majorly negative I can say about this hotel, the staff are amazing (shout out to Sameh at the Oasis beach bar), the grounds are immaculate, and the food in the a la carte restaurants is fantastic (Try the Kashmiri Lamb Rogan Josh at Manohar!!!). If I had to mark it down it would be based on the consistency between bars/restaurants i.e. a coffee or drink in one bar can be quite different to the next bar. Also, the people trying to sell you spa or beauty treatments while you are just lying by the beach is quite annoying (we had 4 approaches on our first morning), although we did discover you can grab a red flag from the towel station to combat this.

We spent 4 wonderful days at this resort and loved every moment. The beach was stunning, the food excellent, and the staff professional and genuinely helpful. Everything was well-managed and we felt truly well taken care of throughout our stay. Highly recommended — we'll definitely be back!

First room wreaked of paint. Second room had a broken, noisy extractor fan in the bathroom. Third room was ok even though the TV wasn’t level. Restaurant prices are different to the ones advertised on their website. Constant banging from maintenance work. ‘Local spirits’ aren’t great and seem watered down. Ironing board and iron took over an hour to get to my room. Had to wait 15 minutes for a coffee in the messy cafe that attracts the birds. Food is good and the restaurant staff are pleasant but this isn’t a 5 star hotel.
