Axel Hotel Valencia - Adults Only

The photos look better than reality. The entrance and bar look really nice but as soon as you step into the rest of the hotel you realise the decor and quality of the finish is lacking. We had a standard room and it felt cheap and tacky. The rooftop pool and spa also had a cheap feel to them. You had to get towels from reception. The jacuzzi was cold. It just felt very self-service and not luxurious. The staff are lovely and friendly but it was clear the hotel was understaffed with the reception staff running around to meet guest requests. Overall an okay experience but we had higher expectations from the photos etc. We still had an amazing time in Valencia.

Everything was very good. Although the bathroom configuration was a bit weird and there was no Kleenex in the room my stay was very nice.

Very nice property in heart of Valencia

New boutique hotel with small but very well equipped bedrooms. Wonderful staff front of house and in the bar. Fabulous cocktails and a stunning roof terrace. Fantastic location with everything walking distance. Highly recommended!
