Great value for money and the room was very clean. The photo of the crisp white bed linen, on the website, was very inviting and awaited me on my arrival. The undercover parking and the views over the park were an added bonus. Thank you to the management and staff for making my stay very special.

Overall great for an “3 star” rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. Car park could do with some resurfacing. Close to high street shops, restaurants and Belmont Hotel- All within walking distance. Close to the riverside walking track of the Barwon River.

Nice place, perfect for a two night stay. My room had a lovely view of the park which was amazing. Staff were super kind, and very easy to talk to. I will definitely come back again. Parking was very easy and accessible. The shower was good, having a high pressure too. It was nice and clean, making me feel relaxed there. See you guys next time!!

Our initial room had a lot of ants on the walls and counters and some on the bed. When we complained we were told "This is Australia, there are ants everywhere". I have been an Australian for 34 years and I have never had ants in my hotel room before. We were moved to a different room after we protested. The second room was great! Very spacious, comfortable bed. Would have given it a higher star rating if not for the ants.

Very close to coles and maccas (walkable distance). The place overall was clean and the staff were lovely! I would suggest the curtains have a really good clean and dusting as the curtains had quite a large amount of dust built up which would fly everywhere when we opened or closed the curtains.

For an overnight stay for a concert at Mt Duneed, this motel was perfect for us. Room was very clean & I suspect newly refurbished, with plenty of space even with a double bed & 3 singles in it, bus pick up for concert was just through shopping centre carpark directly across the road, & the price was so reasonable...would definitely stay again if have another event in the area

Great location and newly renovated but needed sheer curtains as it had a full wall window that was open to the neighbours so couldnt get changed unless you had the drapes closed and light on. Other than that , easy check in, plenty of car parking and good room to fit a family.

We decided to stay in Geelong after a family event and picked this hotel for convenience. It's a good location between Geelong and Waurn Ponds and the lady checking us in was nice. Unfortunately, after getting the key her comment was "the internet is horrible so if you're relying on it, you'll be disappointed". Then at 9.58am we get a knock on the door the which we replied "we in here" to which he knocked again and opened the door. My wife said "we're in here" to have him reply "well it's 10am check out time so time to go" with his thumb gesturing outside the door. As we were packing to leave and just getting our gear in the bag, his response was rude and unnecessary. So, for $249 a night in a 3-star hotel with hopeless internet and rude housekeeping you've found your ideal spot.

I didnt like someone banging on the door before 10am telling us we had to get out of the room now! I was on crutches and moving takes time. When we opened the door, we were told that we had only booked for 4 people , we had 5. And was abysed. I tried to explain that we had booked for 5 (which we did in Wotif) But he would not listen . Very disappointing. Also there was not eniugh cups and no toaster. Will not be back.

Reception people not welcoming and very abrupt. Not what we needed after a long day on the road. Stayed their twice as it was convenient to the Spirit Terminal. Prickly encounter with staff both times. Good rooms and comfy bed. Unfortunately did not see much of a park from our room just carparks

The guy who assisted me is so rude. I am supposed to do early check in but he approached me furiously that “oh check in is 2pm, but if u want I can check in u early pay 100 dollars”. I decided not to proceed with check in, since you dont have option for cancellation, I just did not show up. I would not recommend your hotel because of rude staff like him. I dont know his name but he is doing laundry stuff when I called him via phone.

Check in was quick and easy. The room was refreshingly clean, the bathroom had all amenities. There is a shopping centre across the road, which has dining options and a supermarket, as well as a Kmart. It was a short stop for us, as we had disembarked from a day sailing on the Spirit of Tasmania.

We stayed for 1 night after getting off the spirit of Tasmania, well worth the price, from check in to check out nothing was a problem clean room, and professional polite friendly staff. The view from the room was good, and the bed was comfortable. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast with hot food, cereal pastries yogurt and juices. Highly recommend and we will stay again.
