We had the best experience here! Staff was so friendly and gave great suggestions. They have a sauna, which was amazing in the winter, the rooms have everything you need, and it’s so convenient to everything. We had driven in and parked overnight which was also easy and reasonably priced. Bed and pillows were comfy by American standards, the shower was hot with good pressure and the little kitchen is perfect so you don’t have to eat every meal out. Will definitely stay again if in Munich!

The location was easy to find and only a short distance from the SBahn. The nearest stop is Isartor. The beds are comfortable. The shower is very small in comparison to the rest of the room. Getting to and from the room is by a spiral staircase or a very tiny elevator. Laundry is in a basement. There are 2 washers and 2 dryers. You will need 10 one euro coins to wash. It says you need the same to dry, but it worked with fewer euros.

All excellent and perfect! If there’s anything to say, it’d be not enough parking space that I had to park out in a public parking space which made luggage transport a bit difficult. Hopefully next visyI can get a parking :-)

Pros: The hotel and staff themselves are exemplary and we enjoyed our stay very much. Our room was nice and spacious with lots of little amenities included. Beautiful views available, and the sauna area is a nice addition. Quite a few places to sightsee and eat nearby within walking distance. Overall, this is a great place! Cons: Through no fault of the hotel, there is quite a bit of construction going on around it. The bathroom of our room was a little small but it was certainly workable. Just might be difficult for larger guests possibly.

Clean and welcoming location. Decent room size with kitchen and office space. Bathroom is not that big and not very safe for the ones that need more mobility to hop in the shower, due to the tub height. The glass in the bathtub open towards to the toilet side, which makes complicated to step out of the shower safely. We were not able to adjust the room temperature, felt like in a sauna and the front desk was not able to fix it. Good location in general, but there’s a massive construction in front of the hotel, which made not easy for us to get the taxi / uber services.

Ein schmuckes Hotel in einem alt-ehrwürdigen Gebäude. Sehr hübsch eingerichtet und der Garten ist wirklich sehr schön und lädt zum verweilen ein. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend und ausserordentlich freundlich! Überhaupt fühlt man sich sofort willkommen und pudelwohl. Das Hotel ist zentral gut gelegen, bis zum Hofbräuhaus und Marienplatz sind es nur wenige Gehminuten. Der einzige mögliche Kritikpunkt ist der, dass die Tiefgarage ziemlich steil und eng ist. Ein grosser breiter SUV hätte wahrscheinlich etwas Mühe. Zum Glück waren wir mit dem 'kleinen PW' unterwegs. Wir werden sicher wieder kommen, wenn wir in München sind!

Despite major construction going on across the street from the hotel we had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and the cleaning staff did a wonderful job. The hotel is central yet feels slightly removed and quiet.

We booked this hotel based on its high ratings and positive reviews. My wife contacted the hotel prior to booking to gain some clarity on parking and pets. We were advised they had a parking lot and if it was full, there was parking nearby. No one advised us that we had to reserve a spot. Upon arrival we were greeted by Maximilian, who is the manager of the establishment. He advised us that the parking lot was fully reserved and directed us to park our vehicle in a public parking lot. A little inconvenient, but we were ok with it. Check in was smooth. The room faced the courtyard and was thus quiet. The hotel has major construction currently across the street. The room was a good size, needed to have the carpet/rug cleaned due to stains; and the drapes had stains on them. Maximilian offered to pull our vehicle from the underground parking to front of hotel while we checked in. When I went to move the vehicle into the public parking, I was advised by Maximilian that he had damaged the car pulling it out of the parking lot. He was apologetic and stated that the hotel insurance would cover the damage to the vehicle. We filed a claim with our insurance. We had to leave early due to that reason since we now had to deal with this huge inconvenience. We were booked for three nights but only stayed one. Though he was apologetic, he never offered any compensation for the severe inconvenience this accident had caused and led to the shortening of our trip.

Great location, very walkable, close to tram stations. About a mile from the main Munich station so we would take a tram which was just a five minute ride. Sometimes we walked it. We were there for eight nights so did a lot of train travel. Day trips. Hotel was clean and the room was nice. It has an elevator, which you don’t always get in Europe.

The staff was wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. We appreciated that they spoke English because we do not speak German. However, the room we had was poorly lit and the AC turned off if we opened the terrace door or window and it didn’t turn back on automatically, so that was a hassle. Not enough places to unpack. Bed was wonderful. Room was clean, but the kitchen was not cleaned by housekeeping when the rest of the place was done. Just not quite there.

Best stay of our 10-day trip! Our room was extremely clean and comfortable. And if you can’t get a good night’s rest in those beds, than I’m not sure what will. Located in the Old Town area, you are within really short walking distance of the infamous Hofbrauhaus, Merienplatz, tons of shopping (both quaint little shops and high end) and great restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Munich.

Very nice stay! Our room was clean and just what we needed to work and do a little tourism for 4 nights. We found the room comfortable and the area perfect for site seeing and quick dinners at night. The staff was accommodating and helpful everyday!

We loved this hotel! The staff members were great and accommodating. The rooms were cool (AC) and the location couldn't be any better. It was relatively quiet most of the time but that was hit or miss. Some nights we could open the windows with no noise and others it was quite noisy. But if we kept the windows shut there was no noise at all. Overall we loved our stay at this hotel and would stay again if we return!

My credit card number changed between time of booking and arrival. When the hotel ran the old card, it didn’t go through so they cancelled my room without telling me until I arrived from the US. There were no other hotels in the area and our trip messed up. The two people at the hotel didn’t really do anything to help. Would not recommend this place.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Great location, comfortable rooms with kitchens and beautiful garden courtyard. But the staff was exceptional! I left my phone in a taxi and the hotel staff went above and beyond to help me get it back. They were so helpful and resourceful. Stay at Maximilian Apartments on your next trip to Munch

Aunque el hotel se encuentra muy bien ubicado turísticamente hablando y en la mejor zona de Munich, la actitud de su personal deja mucho qué desear y esto corre desde el Manager que está en Front Desk hasta la Recamarera, hay un sesgo de racismo hacia los huéspedes el cual hace que lejos de querer atender al 100% a sus huéspedes, sean latinos o de cualquier otra nacionalidad, por el contrario, te hacen sentir que no mereces un buen trato. Tuvimos un incidente con la Recamarera que dejó mucho qué desear, no nos limpió el cuarto y al llegar en la noche y bajar a pedir que lo limpiaran, pretendian que nos durmieramos en el cuarto y baño sin limpiar, seguramente creyendo q asi lo aceptariamos por ser mexicanos, sin embargo exigimos la limpieza y un aleman de front desk lo tuvo que limpiar. Asi lo hicieron, sin embargo el trato hacia nosotros el resto de la estancia de 6 dias dejó mucho qué desear, teniendo q avisarles cada dia q saliamos para q limpiaran el cuarto...en fin...una especie de burla de su parte. Quiza se sintieron "humillados" porque un mexicano le exigio a un aleman limpiar el cuarto. Asi que es altamente recomendable buscar otro Hotel en la zona y evitar estos sesgos de racismo tan desagradables pero muy presentes actualmente en Alemania.

Great location, very walkable, close to tram stations. About a mile from the main Munich station so we would take a tram which was just a five minute ride. Sometimes we walked it. Great location, helpful staff, nice room. There's a large building site across the street but when we were there, there was no activity on it and no noise. Our room's windows were on the other side of the building. This location is really good, lots of things to walk to.

There’s a lot of construction happening right in the front of the hotel which causes a lot of noise and from our apartment in second floor we could see the construction workers right at our level and so so close which was unnerving. Kitchen staff was extremely reluctant to make a La carte breakfast for us. He repeated that it will take 20-25 mins even though we said that it’s ok and we will wait. It took him 4-5 askings before he reluctantly headed to the kitchen. We were overcharged for 2 business breakfast just because we had coffee and a couple of dried apricot. The day we checked, and we were told that the coffee is complementary, but for some reason this was changed later on. We didn’t really expect this treatment from a 600 euro per night stay.

We had a delightful stay. The hotel is adorable and charming. The breakfast was lovely, though not included. The service was exceptional! Our only complaint was that our room on the 4th floor was excessively warm. We often had to keep the windows open to cool it down. There is construction taking place just across from this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the windows blocked out 99% of the noise! Additionally, our adult daughter found the pull-out bed too firm for her comfort. Great location to the Christmas market and other restaurants. Great location!
