The hotel overall is good. The restaurant and bar closed 8 pm on some nights. That’s ridiculously early for a hotel. The Bartendar was like, I will do one last call and that’s it. If you want to close this early, please don’t work in the hospitality industry. Their recommendation was to go to another bar, restaurant or hotel. Ok thanks, next time I will stay somewhere else.

Stayed here for our anniversary and it was perfect -- quiet, elegant, and comfortable. Appreciated having an exceptional restaurant on property. Gym was nicely appointed. Loved our location on the beach which was near State Street, but just far away enough that we weren't bothered by noise and traffic. Would definitely stay here again.

A bit dusty in the foyer, but overall quite nice looking amd clean. My issue is the parking. Its just a normal street corner hotel with its own parking bays, one per room, however they scam you into having to use valet for $43 so they can park your car 15 steps away, if you dont pay then you must find street parking. Absolute scam.

The property was nice. The restaurant had inside and outside dining options but closed at 10 and bar also closed at that time. I don't know if I would stay again as my room over looked a neighborhood and not the beach. That costs much more. They should have electric bikes to rent. I received a text stating they were my assistant for the time I was there, but not onsite. When asking about renting bikes, I was referred to the Hilton down the street. No one was ever onsite as the concierge desk, which I feel was wrong. Someone should be onsite. The valet parking gave me some bottled water; the hotel did not. They had a cooler by the ice machine which you could fill your water bottle, but it never filled it completely. After 10 pm, there is not snacks, drinks, etc. They had a few drinks by the desk and only cookies. You need a vending machine or some snacks. I was told I could walk 2 blocks to a gas station or a convenience store. Others were looking for snacks, too.

Staff was amazing, parking sucks must use valet which is $28.00 a day plus tip every time you get car. Easy beach access . No coffee in room , must go down to lobby and NO tea for those who don't drink coffee .restaurant Very$$$ and limit menu

Nice location, beautiful building, the decor could be better - just outdated, had some nice art pieces, the main problem was the smell in the room, I don't now if it was just our room (213) or all rooms smell like that, it was just so strong - smelled like the sweaty locker-room, was it the carpet? Had to sleep with the window open.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Santa Barbara Inn. It was located right across from the ocean and the restaurant had great food and good service and our room was clean and comfortable. Would recommend it to anyone.

The rooms were very clean, staff were kind, the views were great in October. There was a wedding party one evening and our balcony doors completely shielded the noise! I would have enjoyed more time for morning coffee access. Overall great experience.

Large rooms, with double sink in bathroom. Service is friendly and efficient. Cosy bar area. Hotel is right across from the beach and within an easy walk to the Funk Zone and shops and restaurants on State St. We’ve stayed at this hotel the last four years at Christmas. A good find.

Lots of street noise, sirens, large trucks, emergency vehicles, motorcycles and cars through the day and night. Blowers and mowers going in the morning. Even though we had an ocean view room, due trees and other growth, there was just a sliver of the ocean to be seen. We ordered room service from the on-site restaurant which was delicious. Expedia was an excellent experience, with the best rate.

Property was very nice, clean and welcoming. Room was just a bit off. Two very uncomfortable chairs to sit on. Balcony overlooked a side street with houses. Almost feel like the room didn’t need to have a balcony as why would you want to sit out there. we went for a basic standard room as we were only there one night but if we were staying longer I would have been very disappointed. Great restaurant on property, highly recommend.

Great experience! The only reason I gave 4 stars is how loud people walking around was when you were sleeping. The hotel was luxurious & super clean, friendly, and generally quiet. So nice to be right across the street from the ocean.

I was disappointed in the Streaming options. There were no options to pay for a movie without signing up for an account on Hulu. Then when we went to Netflix there were profiles from previous guests. I didn’t remember our password so I had to use their profiles. Also, I don’t drink coffee. It would have been nice if they had tea as well as complimentary coffee in the morning. Otherwise everything and all the employees were wonderful.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The first thing I said after walking into the lobby was "Wow! It looks just as pretty as the pictures". The hotel itself is beautiful, clean and perfectly located. The room was large, the bed was comfortable and I loved the heated bathroom floor. The restaurant inside the hotel, Convivo, was delicious for both breakfast and dinner. There is also an excellent sushi restaurant just down the road. This hotel is on the beach near Stearns Warf, and downtown Santa Barbara is just a few minutes by car. The Santa Barbara Inn exceeded our expectations in many ways. We'll be coming back next time we're in Santa Barbara. Highly recommended!

Room itself was okay. Can not make your own coffee in your room and have to wait until after 6am to get some downstairs. Horrible cell service and Wi-Fi cuts in and out. Valet guys are great but front desk was rude about service. Ac does not get cold. Honestly, 3/10 and wouldn’t recommend…

We had such a wonderful experience at the Santa Barbara Inn! One of the things we loved most was the personal touch—they texted us before our arrival and throughout our stay to make sure everything was perfect. The service felt so thoughtful and attentive. The location couldn’t be better—it’s just steps from the beach, and the beach-view suites are absolutely gorgeous. Waking up to that view made our trip extra special. We can’t wait to come back!

It was a great experince! The only thing was that I called 3 times on Thursday to see if I could upgrade my room for a Sunday reservation. I was waiting on hold for 20 mins when the line cut, got a busy signal the 2nd time and left a voicemail-no one responded to me. We loved the resturant it was great food! So we went back the following day and we waited for 20 mins for a Waiter to take our order. Totally get it was on a monday but we just needed to get our day going. This is still a great place to go! Soo clean and right by the beach which is what we wanted!

Absolutely Incredible Service! Our experience was outstanding from the moment we arrived! Even before we got there, the staff sent a friendly text to check in—and they continued to stay in touch throughout our stay, always asking if we needed anything. It made us feel truly taken care of. The on-site restaurant was absolutely delicious, and to top it off, they even delivered waters to our room in the morning when I texted them. Every detail was thoughtful and the service was above and beyond. Highly recommend!

Santa Barbara Inn was a great location. Literally across the street from the beach & ocean. Prob a 15 min walking distance to the wharf and lower State Street (downtown). Most restaurants are located down the street. But they have a delicious restaurant, Convivo on the property. Very small pool but if you want to swim in the ocean, it’s steps away. The value was great for the location.

Beautiful property and location. Clean. Wish we could have made coffee/tea in the room. They only offered coffee in the lobby, no tea. Hotel and valet staff were excellent, but hostess at Convivo (the restaurant) was not accommodating and had a bad attitude.

Stunning building and location practically on the beach. Not too many walkable restaurants but everything in SB is quite close. Staff are incredible and a wonderful sense of arrival. Restaurant on site convivo is amazing!
